I am bored. Help me prank my friend.

No i don't have anything better to do. Yes I am childish.

That said me and my best friend have a long running game where we like to prank each other. Very small scale stuff. Most recently this has taken the form of sending each other postcards from wherever we are with daft messages on them.

It started when i went on holiday and sent her a postcard as promised. Then she went away and forgot to send me one. So the next time i was away (not anywhere vaguely exciting) i sent her a narky one bemoaning my lack of postcards. Then she bombarded me with daft cards saying how much she loved me and was my bestest ever friend.

Now I'm stuck. What can I do or send her.....

I know mn is full of evil geniuses (genii?)...please help me Grin

Can't you get lots of posters to send her weird laminated things? Someone mentioned toast,you can also laminate jaffa cakes, biscuits, tea bags etc.

Just Stick a stamp on it and write the address on the front.

Do you have access to her house? My brother and his friends once painted giant penisses on the bedroom wall of one of their friends while he was away on holiday. Best thing was they used glow in the dark paint so it only showed up once the poor guy went to bed.

I'm in Spain, I'll send a postcard to anyone - there are some particularly tasteful 3D ones of 1970s flamenco dancers. They're real classy - just up Janet and Roy's alley Grin

Also would anyone like to team up with me for a long term Janet and Roy as my DM was completely baffled by it and I would love Janet and Roy to send her postcards etc through the year. I'm a bit concerned that she will twig if I use a different MNer every year. I am of course more than happy to do the same in return (and I write a splendid round robin :o)

I'm up for sending a postcard! Live in a market town from where some people must send postcards, they sell them in the post office. But someone has to send a Janet and Roy to my in laws, it would make my year!

Ok this is a non postcard related one, but one to have in the bag if she has an iPhone.

Get her phone during an unguarded moment (ask to look something up on Internet or something).

Go to general > keyboard > add shortcut

If you want it to be quickly obvious, set 'hi' to be the shortcut for an unrelated phrase. I prefer the slow-burn of changing words which are used less frequently for something entirely random. Like set the word 'home' to be a shortcut word for 'sheep'.

Everytime she tries to type 'home' it will autocorrect to 'sheep'.

You can change a number of words to other words for maximum effect.

Then wait. Possibly a long time. The payoff is so worth it though.
