Today, after watching the film Space Camp, I have launched a new ambition....to be the first person to have baby in SPACE. Neat huh!

Didn't go to school. I'm gonna write to ADVICE and get a free info pack on Veggies. My chances are dropping. May have to resort to drastic tactics which I don't want to do!

Had my Clarinet lesson. Started Home Ec and Technology. BORING!
Put drawing pins on the step to the library. DEAD FUNNY!!!
Going to Anna's tomorrow! Weeee! Writing to ADVICE J17. He He He.

I remember that day. We placed drawing pins point side up on the step into the library. Library was carpeted, but the corridor outside was tiled. When people stepped onto the tiles they tip-tapped along the corridor looking confused some even sort of skated on the tiles Ah, great days

Stayed at Anna's. Watched Pretty Woman. DEAD GOOD!!! Had midnight feast. Hilarious.

I wrote a diary when I was 18 that has been long since lost. The thought of it kicking around haunts me.

Went to work with Anna, got 3 quid! Stopping again tonight and watching Grease 2.

It was always about Robert, but being as he was 30, and I was 12, I had to have a plan B i.e. boy my own age

Went to badminton with Anna.Made Robert a tape letter. Won Easter Egg at church.

Science was brill. I've got a skill idea. I'm going to ask mum if I can go to the flicks, if so tell Anna that Benny's asked me and a mate the pretend I'm stood up. Great, eh?

I have no idea what the point of that would have been

House Hockey Comp. I got injured and had to go off. My ankle was DEAD sore. OOOOOch.

Got out of Hockey. Non-uniform day. I wore my jeans, brown acid top and chunky cardi. I actually got asked how much it cost! Woow!

Good Friday Churches Together Convention. Me and Anna were giving boys we met marks out of 10 for looks, dress sense and personality. Wow!

Me and DBro went to the fair. We went on the big wheel.
It was ok at first but pretty boring after 5 minutes.

Did absolutely nothing today. Ironed and washed clothes for holiday. Me and Jane were left alone from 1.30 - 7.05 while mum took DBro visiting.

I've fallen in love with Noel Wright.
Tomorrow I'm gonna ask Catherine and the gang if they + Noel + [his friend] wanna come to the cinema to see Doc Hollywood. I want to ask Noel out then, but I probably won't have the courage. I could get one of the gang to ask him for me. I really want this!!! More than anything I want to be a real teenager, not a frigid little stay at home.

No, never got together with him but have just looked him up on Facebook and he seems to be a very happy family man with a friendly looking wife and beautiful kids - so good on him.

Thanks OP, have had fun/misty-eyed recollections reading this this evening. Was 10 in 1991. Vividly remember a big, exciting new display when we went into school (primary) after New Year 1990 - the words 'INTO THE NINETIES'...Sure I would've noted that one down in the diary.

Also snorting at NONE EXISTANT. Am 99% sure I did the very same.

God, we were so earnest and yet UNself-aware at the same time.
