Today, after watching the film Space Camp, I have launched a new ambition....to be the first person to have baby in SPACE. Neat huh!

GRADE 2 EXAM!!

It was really terrifying

I definitely flunked D min scale and arpeggio.
Catherine's going to Spain with Liz. Catherine's going off with Claire and shutting me out.

Totally rearranged my room, went to town on my posters. Went shopping then to Church Hoe Down (sk)

Not sure about (sk) perhaps abbreviation of skill, it is a hoe down after all

We're the same age, OP - I remember when the war broke out, I was with my friend and breaking news came over the radio and we looked at each other wide eyed and then went and looked through her mum's knicker drawer.

Parade at Church. It was also Mother's Day. I've counted it's 147 days until Summer Camp and I see Robert again (wooh).
Nothing else really happened just watched telly.

I faked an asthma attack during Games. Catherine's not speaking to me coz I was sarcastic. It was DEAD HOT today. Yes! In Britain!

I had this pain in my side so I didn't go to school. Jane told everyone I'd broken my leg! She claims she had her period today, I don't know if it's true, it could be!

Hmmmm, we didn't have a Posh. I saved up to get all my hideous monstrosities from Tammy Girl and Kylie (bit in mackays).

I wrote skill and brill a lot. I loved dossing. There should definitely be more dossing about in my life now.

How could he ask out another girl whilst you were standing there? Gutted.

I have my diary and I love it. I also wrote about news stories and talked about what I saw happening in the future. It's interesting to look back on now.

I wrote a diary when I was 18 that has been long since lost. The thought of it kicking around haunts me.

March 15 1991
Off school again. Went to doctors. He prodded and poked and really hurt me. He said it was just a pulled muscle. Comic relief day 3, watched bits until 11.20 then fell asleep.

I have kept a diary everyday since 1980ish ( good girls keep a diary, bad girls don't have time....I was...and still am...quite boring!)
I can tell you the entry for any day since then
But don't ask
as they are all in the loft and i can't be arsed to go up there at this time of night!

Didn't do much. Went to Poundstretcher, Sainsburys, B and K's ( parent's friends ) after Asda. Mum's a bit peeved because she wanted to go out and dad didn't do anything.

Mum complains about the same to this day, however it does sound pretty busy to say we didn't do anything

I've packed Guides in. Am gonna stay at Anna's on Friday night (weeh)
I got really misty today over the Jason Donovan poster that looks like Benny. I'm going to go out with him if it's the last thing I do!

I'm going to Anna's on fri.
I told mum I want to be a vegetarian [sic]
I don't know yet but my chances look fairly good!

Dad has taken mum out for a meal, I'm babysitting.
It's 10.21 and I have only just got ready for bed!
Just getting Claire a little egg, Catherine got me a T.C. egg
