Great big effing boil on my neck! Help!

I've NEVER had a boil, ever, and now, 4 days after I go from long hair to a short bob, I've got something that looks like another nipple. It HURTS! I've put metanium on it and it's coming up to a point but there's no head on it. I don't feel too well either but that might be unrelated.

What should I do?! Help!

Re the lump, I saw a video of tonsil stones being removed the other day (undoubtedly a link from MN) and apparently they are solidified pus. So maybe that's what's happened to Cyst?

I just looked at those pics while I had my tongue inside a Walnut Whip. I might actually need counselling. I never knew such horrors could exist.

Have you had packing in it?

It looks like a piece of packing such as Sorbsan, slightly stained with Iodine.

Or a solidified lump of pus.

Either that or it's given birth.

Morning all! Me and Cyst are back at the docs for another clean-up. The HCA just popped her head round the door, saw me and waved excitedly. This is the girl who took the photo last week. She is clearly One Of Us.

Am drifting gently into the loving arms of a fistful of horse tranquillisers. No point in taking any chances with this fella.
