I'm quite sure I've just done something mad...

TMI alert! Have had a very bad tummy bug and am left in a position where venturing more that 30 seconds from the loo would be a foolish risk. I've decided that the water I'm drinking is passing through my body at great speed so in a rash moment I've swallowed a round piece of floaty plastic to time how long it takes to come out. I'm mad aren't I, too long on the sofa with only flat lemonade and salty crisps for company I think.

Cherrybea, aloe vera impregnated bog roll would be a godsend at the moment. Do not fear, I know I have been a tad rash but I did make sure the lego I swallowed was round and smooth, the alternative doesn't bear thinking about.

Would I seem even more loon like if I add some food dye (not brown, yellow or green, thank you whoever posted that advice!) to the online tesco shop I just finished, so that next time I'll get it right?

oh god this is funny Grin

lostinwails · 04/11/2010 13:37

OMG if this makes the Wright Show tomorrow that would be hilarious, a very slow news day I imagine! Although I'm pleased to note I still have my halloween name change so I can go back to anonymity soon!

Bristol Stool Scale, PMSL, I have never seen anything like it, please tell me the images on the right are illustrations not photographs!? (defo a 7 here btw)

GingerGlitterGoddess · 04/11/2010 13:41

Ha have just realised glitter is my middle name!!! Namechanged this very morning, how fortuitous! Grin

QuintessentialShadows · 04/11/2010 13:45

I think iced beetroot cake with sparkly icing dust is on the agenda.

My friend is bringing her 14 month old tomorrow for dinner (still in nappies), I shall serve the cake after dinner.

Let me know if any of you want the recipe for beetroot cake.

flamingtoaster · 04/11/2010 13:47

lostinwalls - what an inspiration you are to the young of this country who are not interested in science. David Cameron should be told. :)

Maybe we should all forget about new pyjamas for Christmas Eve and just go for glittery poos all round.:)

Poppity · 04/11/2010 13:47

Yes, painted by an accomplished(but bored) poo illustrator who would probably jump at the chance to do glittery/gold plated poo, you could bring joy to the hearts of poo illustrators everywhere!

thumbwheel · 04/11/2010 13:49

lostin, I think they are photos...
Am pmsl here, I hadn't seen the BSS before either but whenever I do a 4, it's a clear indication there's something not quite right with my guts - must be an oddity!

QS - it's not a beetroot and spinach cake, is it? Someone put a recipe for that on an overseas chat thread that then disappeared and we can't remember who it was - was it you?

anonymousbird · 04/11/2010 13:49

Oh lordy lord. It doesn't get better than this.

Plentyofpockets - my head is going to fall off.

BonzoDooDah · 04/11/2010 13:52

I just have to say you are utterly barmy but as a fellow scientist I salute you Grin

GingerGlitterGoddess · 04/11/2010 13:53

Just add glitter Grin

TeaRocks · 04/11/2010 13:54

PMSL at the thought of putting 'poo illustrator' on a form as your job!!

Dumbledoresgirl · 04/11/2010 13:57

"Although I'm pleased to note I still have my halloween name change so I can go back to anonymity soon!"

Ummm, Lostinwails, I don't like to disillusion you since you are in such a weak state at the moment, but your real name is only one letter different to your Halloween one and sounds exactly the same - hardly going to fool many people, is it?

QuintessentialShadows · 04/11/2010 14:00

Thumbweel, no that wasnt me. But I am very amused by the recipe for beetroot cake in my favourite cake baking book, as it looks awful.....

HalfTermHero · 04/11/2010 14:14

Oh this thread is quite fabulous and really rather inspired. I would never, even at my most delirious (with illness) have conjured up such a trick to try. I reckon the Lego will come put at 5.47pm. Good luck and hope you are feeling better soon Smile

DanceInTheDark · 04/11/2010 14:18

A Poo tsunami (poonami?)

Unfortunately i have seen the Bristol Stool Scale far too many times - DS2 has bowel issues and we have to go into excruciating detail whenever we have an appt at the paeds. Even DS3 who is obsessed with farts and poo gets bored now!

lostinwales · 04/11/2010 14:19

Oh what a very odd thread, and what a copy cat the op is with her nickname. I would NEVER do anything that odd and most certainly wouldn't write about it on the internet.

As you were people.

DastardlyandSmugly · 04/11/2010 14:21

I have edible glitter at home pre-ordered for a Christmas baking bonanza. I may be using some this weekend!

Hassled · 04/11/2010 14:23

:o

lostinwails · 04/11/2010 14:23

Ooh, snooty cow!

Just back from the kitchen with a chicken and veg cup a soup, it does have some floating veg but unfortunately no sweetcorn, anyone want to place their bets on the red pepper?! Wink

loopylou6 · 04/11/2010 14:27

Oh wow this is the funniest thread I have ever read, and plentyofpockets you made me belly laugh really loudly :)

loopylou6 · 04/11/2010 14:28

I think lostinwales needs to get a bit more lost Hmm

JarethTheGoblinKing · 04/11/2010 14:40

haha, you're in classics!!

MmeLindt · 04/11/2010 14:41

You are the MN Loon Of The Day. Congratulations.

JarethTheGoblinKing · 04/11/2010 14:42
