Hiya..........ee by gum Shabs.....just had H cousins from Wigan ere this evening, kids could hardly understand them! So what did Tom do today, hope he had a smashing day, a teenager..................imagine me with three xx

FG missing you......come back to us soon, its not the same without you on the shag pile

shabbapinkfrog · 25/07/2010 10:28

Oooohhhh I dont feel well!!! We went to a good friends wedding reception last night. Every bone in my body hurts this morning. Some fool thought it would be good if we all did Greek dancing to 'Zorba the Greek.' Men versus women!!!!! Well, it would be rude to not join in!!!! Then Derkster thought we should walk home - in the pouring rain across the very lonley, scary path that runs alongside the local fishing pond!!!

This resulted in all of us screaming our heads off because there were loads of frogs on the path

Tom had a great time at the wedding reception - he danced the night away and got my friends son involved in the dancing. Friends son, also called Tom, is 10 and is autistic....it was very, very touching watching them. My Tom showed him how to do 'cha-cha slide' and then friends Tom wouldn't come off the dance floor.....bet he slept well last night.

Reminds me of Caths do Shabs, my three running round the dance floor after Tom, good night that was! Been fed up today......kids are being just awful, hyper and rude. H feeling not too good after Weds chemo, picking at me all day, I can say or do nothing right! Kids off to PGL on Tues, we are supposed to be taking them down there, its in Sussex, then we are supposed to be going off ourselves for a few nights. I have trawled and trawled on here, if I do find something thats available he is finding fault, too remote, bed too small, etc. So here we are late Sun night and nothing booked, I`ll be buggered if I am going to stay here when we have the chance to get away. Off to bed, staying downstairs tonight! Kale Nits xx

Oh Trips - do you fancy coming up north to ours??? My mum and dad have a lovely spare bedroom. I was telling my mum all about whats going on with you and she said to tell you that you are more than welcome at hers. Just give me a shout my friend and it can all be arranged. xx

Hiya Shabs.

ruby - I don't drink. Don't worry, you can still have fun - in fact, you can quite often be the only one who actually remembered what happened the day after (or, even better, what you claimed to have happened), and that can be a lot of fun.

HarrogateMum · 28/07/2010 13:09

wish I didnt drink sometimes. Tis the devil's work! But I like it

Aha, you noticed my new inflection [preen] Have been trying to think of a new, more original name but thought I'd just jazz up my normal one for a bit instead

We're going to Cornwall on Monday. DT1's general health (appetite, weight, etc) has dropped and he is very tired again. Still hoping it's due to the change in steroids but not sure what to do. Reeeeeeally don't want to have to cancel but want to make sure he's ok too

Which reminds me - as trips hasn't been here, I presume everything went ahead for her holiday? Hope she's having a nice time.

ruby - mucho impressivo! We are going on Monday first thing and I am out for the next two evenings (huge rariety to even go on one, never mind two!) so need to get everything done in the next two days. We are taking a couple of extra people which means we are borrowing FIL's car which means [gulp] that I am driving all the way to Cornwall!

As I normally sleep for half the journey I'm gonna need to get LOTS of sleep the night before - pah! When does that ever happen the night before holiday? No matter how organised I think I am, I'm always up past midnight doing 'last minute things'.

If only I could actually remember what those last minute things were from year to year maybe I could do them sooner but....
