LOVE the wedding dress/fancy dress idea - now I know what I'm going to do tomorrow.

evening ladies - just spent a week near Mevagissy in Cornwall in a static caravan - it was great - just the 6 of us.

I am also now unemployed after taking VR from civil service - feels strange

Well.............been AWOL on here since last Sun and its only taken me seconds to catch up on your posts.......slacking girls, slacking..........ee I dont know We went away dropped kids off in Sussex Tues at 12pm and headed off in the opposite direction as fast as we could! Spent a lovely 4 nights in a little lodge of our own, lovely kind owners, sweet garden and peace and quiet, except for the woodpeckers at 4am!! Just nice to do what WE wanted, no hassle,havent felt so relaxed for a very long time. We did nothing exciting, just visited a few nice gardens and tea room, poor H couldn`t walk far, lots of sitting, but I think he enjoyed it. He hardly ate a thing, made me feel guilty sitting there with my sticky bun, but enjoyed it Picked kids up at 10.30am today, they seem to have had a fantastic time at PGL, all asking when they can go again...........hooray! So how is everyone? Its awfully quiet on here in the school hols..........love to you fg if you are looking in xx

DTs have finished Y1. Only 5 more years till I'm outta there!

DS1 has done his ASs. A2s next year. DD1 has started her GCSEs. DD2 has finished Y7.

Work...busy, fortunately cos it's slow out there.

Been dancing tonight. Not salsa though. My feet ache but it was fun.

Shabsie, hiya! Gawd been home 24 hours and wrecked! Done 6 machines of washing, about another 2 to go before Im back to normal! Kids bags were gross, they had all fallen into a lake raft building, but did they put their wet stuff in the large plastic bag marked "wet clothes" ........no, all mixed in with everything else. So a nice smelly revolting wash! H in a picky mood, Becs on a s/over so I am off to her bed in a min. Had some sad news today, Harrys cousin, a real character has died in Thailand. Les has always been abit of a nomad, been living in Thailand teaching in villages to earn his keep, abit of a romancer. His daughters who all live in Australia all went over to see him and found him very ill. He died 5 days after they got there of pancreatic cancer, he was 67. I dont think I have ever met a man who loved to live life as an adventure as Les, God Bless him. His death from cancer has really upset Harry for obvious reasons. Whose turn with the drinks trolley tonight?
