shabster · 07/09/2008 20:30

Hello my lovelys - everybody ok?

frumpygrumpy · 07/09/2008 20:33

Welcome Tallulah! I wish for you a December birth so you can sit back, breastfeed and watch all the Christmas telly

Girls, my curtain came today. My personal curtain. The one that makes me have a straight face and long for bedtime. I must be due another period.......

Shabs, you get the boots?

HarrogateMum · 07/09/2008 20:48

FG - pray explain about the curtain? Me confused!!

PS FG - me and my Dad are planning an extravaganza weekend in Edinburgh to tramp round all the family history hotspots that I have uncovered in my research (mainly slums of course). He asked me where we should stay, to which I replied "The Balmoral". He raised his eyebrows - is it not the finest hotel in Edinburgh??? Have stayed at the Malmaison in Leith before which was fab but need somewhere more central. Will you meet up with me for a pot of tea and a scone if I venture up? (or a vat of wine and some crisps?)

MerryMarigold · 07/09/2008 20:54

Has Timesofhope had her babies? surely she must...anyone heard?

devondoris · 07/09/2008 21:12

Hello! Just popping by to say that I haven't forgotten everyone, even though I haven't been seen for months (year??). How is everyone??

xx

piximon · 07/09/2008 21:13

Devon(ish) mums I'm looking for advice here please.

DD1 starts nursery tomorrow, weekday mornings. DT2 has another helmet appt on Weds. We were busy all weekend, saw friends from London yesterday and went to Torquay today for a potter around. DS1 violently sick when we got home tonight. Prince had a hunger pang in the middle of town and I couldn't find anywhere to sit and feed him so he had a suck on the plum I was eating (first taste of food), he was enjoyably puzzled by it so I guess he's ready for weaning.

piximon · 07/09/2008 21:17

Doris can't ignore your post. I sent you a few texts, not sure if you got them. I couldn't find your email address. Got your card, thanks, how are the boys doing now? How are things in general? IS your DH still commuting?

I might be buying a house very near the farm where you visited us, we're waiting on results of survey. I'm currently nearer to the city. Would love to see you if you fancy a trek into Exeter before I move again. email me on piximon at gmail dot com

devondoris · 07/09/2008 21:26

Would love to see you, Pix! Did get a mail, but my mobe is doing mad things (I dropped it in a stream) and I'm finding it very difficult to contact people! I'll mail you and try to sort a date! Hurray! And what fab news that you're going back near to the farm - wonderful place!

Yes, DH still commuting, but these days to Bath rather than London. Still have the shop in Ashburton so he works all day Saturday too now... However, we had a good day today with no cross words to anyone - hurrah!!

I also have to make lunch and iron shirts. Wonderful.

shabster · 07/09/2008 21:35

Hello Devon - dont think we have met. I am the sensible, level headed one on the multiples. Dont drink, smoke or perv over young men - you ask anyone on here

triplets · 07/09/2008 21:36

Doris, welcome back to the fold, you have loads to catch up on, must introduce you to Gladys

I truly am off to bed early girls, just thought I was feeling better and now got pain in my left hip!! Back up to St Thomass at 8.30am to meet my friend, then probably wont be seeing her again for over a year as she is off to India Can`t tell you how much I am going to miss her. Hope you are all ok, H is off his food again, brother home and is as good as we can expect. Night night all xxx

triplets · 07/09/2008 21:37

Shabs............sagapo, we are due a phone call, missing your laugh

shabster · 07/09/2008 21:37

Frumpster - no didn't get the boots. A neighbours son who is in year 8 says they always play football on the astro turf so you only need trainers. Glad I asked him! Tommy is very prone to ingrowing toenails so I am not cramming his feet into narrow boots. He already had the operation on one nail and it was horrendous!!

shabster · 07/09/2008 21:38

Sagapo right back at you Trips....wish so much we lived closer.

shabster · 07/09/2008 21:39
