BC was a fecking nightmare! I've never seen it so rammed on just a standard saturday - it was like the last sat before xmas or the first day of the sales. Had to wait 20 mins in Clarks to be served, then they had nothing for DT2 so another 30 min wait in John Lewis only to be told nothing there either [grrrr emoticon].

LG&T, lovely to 'see' you . Exciting news about the pink one - and glad all is well with her. How's DD1 getting on? Have you made any progress with the issues you were having a couple of months ago?

Mars, hope the party went well.

Shabs, forgot you used to be a soft southerner .

MarsLady · 06/09/2008 18:32

Do you have time to go into town? Selfridges has a huge collection of different types of shoe. BC never my favourite place.

Party went well. Now just waiting to hear from my twin mum.

tkband3 · 06/09/2008 18:40

Really can't face town (soft southerner that I am!), but will bear Selfridges in mind for next time. Wonder if they do a twin discount . Have 2 out of 3 done now and know exactly what I need for DT2 so will go and buy them on my own (after phoning to check they're in stock!) while they're at nursery this week. Should have come down your way really, Mars, but I wanted to go somewhere where I had a choice of shops, rather than risk finding nothing in one.

Changing the subject, saw some friends this morning you've been round to visit about doing some doula-ing for - she said she was going to call you, hope she has or does soon!

Yahoo! Just good to know all is well xxx.

Shabs, I don't do this face very often but here it is................ .........a 3 hour kip in the afternoon would be my idea of heaven!!!!! Followed by a long soak and pampering, followed by nail painting and sips of gin, followed by clothes that make you feel fab and friends who do the same, followed by food and more apple juice than the orchard can squeeze. Bet you will be firing on all cylinders for hours now

BovineBeauty · 06/09/2008 20:49

hello girls.
YOU SCARED ME! saw the big red letters at the END of the thread.....where'd they go? but i did it i found you. congrats to new babies and glad you beta trips. glad you got to london too. shabs(shirleyV) have you not gone to greece yet?? oohh marslady, i wish you were in oz when i had my twins. we had to fight for natural all the way. 3lsb sounds fine. my boys were 5.5 n 5.14 at 33weeks. we did the bm in a syringe too!

i have been hibernating under the duvet for the past 3days. just no hope left.

triplets · 06/09/2008 22:07

Bovine, sounds as though you need a multipple hug there...xx

Well I am still feeling abit weak and wobbly, glad I stopped taking the beta blockers though. Need more sleep thats for sure, but its hell sleeping with that slapper Gladys, I tell you girls she "talks" even in her sleep! Perhaps the nice nurse could prescibe some sleeping pills for her..................or for me in fact! Well my brother came home today! He has done amazingly well, feel sort of proud of him as he is not the bravest of us, I have four brothers girls, no sister, I love them all, but have to say I am the strongest of the lot and the most adventurous! Don`t get it from my Mum or Dad, must be a throwback!! Shabs.......you ok? How is my granbaby?

LG*T.....so lovely to see you pop in, so pleased to hear the good news about your little pink bundle, much love xxx and come back soon!

MarsLady · 06/09/2008 22:57

TK... yes she text me. I've been rather busy getting the DTs into school. Need to check out the dates that she wants and sort myself out properly! Lovely couple, lovely daughter.

Bovine... are you recovered darling? It's a bit scary when we move house. We'll move more quickly now that the holidays are over lol!

BovineBeauty · 06/09/2008 23:15

we moved dream house, country and friends 4yrs ago and i still having a hard time with all this rain!
not quite recovered frm birth of me boys, very dramatic and not as per birth plan! 6yrs you'd think i'd build a bridge n get over it hey.
suffer with bi-polar(label) and just want it to stop.
my littlies all back at school and they love it still. may it last!

hugs.

MarsLady · 06/09/2008 23:45

triplets · 07/09/2008 00:06

I know..I know....I promised to go to bed early, am going now before I turn into a pumpkin............getting that shape anyway! Ladies thinking caps on please. Need ideas for DH pressie, its our Pearl(gulp) w/av on the 23rd and I see (it was an accident) he has spent rather alot on some jewellery for me...........oh I havent a clue what to get him, feel I should make the effort esp after all he has been through, and as we didnt do anything for our silver as we werent talking!! Budget of £3.99p No only joking, cant book a table for a nice meal as the chemo has spoilt his appetite................help!

frumpygrumpy · 07/09/2008 00:19

Trips, you and me both doll. I should be sleeping too...........

Would he appreciate a favourite family photo in a gorgeous frame (I got my DP a slightly more masculine one for his desk). One of you guys when you met? One of just the kids and him?

A good pen?

A digital camera?

A hot air balloon trip/helicopter trip?

A small (brown leather) photo album with some select photos from your years together and a little bit written by each one....an early one pre-wedding, one of matthew, one of the trio very young, you all last year on your America holiday etc.

frumpygrumpy · 07/09/2008 00:39

bovine, whats your forecast doll? Do you get enough support? On ADs? What helps? Whats hurting the most?

shabster · 07/09/2008 01:49

Evening girls - yes I know I am very late on here!! A very special friend sent a horrible text message to me last night and I have been stewing about it ever since. Have decided to ignore it but it is vvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeerrrrryyyy hard!!! What makes friends be absolutly horrrible??

ChopsTheDuck · 07/09/2008 07:47

running along fg'd theme, what about a digital photo frame. SOme are quite cheap now, and men like gadgetty things.

I should be studying. Everyone else is in bed, I'm trying to open my books. I did intend to do it yesterday, did almost half of 2400 words then dp's family turned up. So went shopping and to pizza huit instead. Someone give me a kick up the bum!

Bovine, not sure I've met you yet, but hello, and sorry to hear you are having a rough time.

LGT - welcome back!

ChopsTheDuck · 07/09/2008 07:47

shabs, did she really mean it to be horrible?

shabster · 07/09/2008 08:21

Morning girls.

Morning Chops - yes it was meant to be horrible! Never mind, Im a firm believer in 'what goes around comes around.'

HarrogateMum · 07/09/2008 08:39

what did she say Shabs? If you dont want to say, dont worry.

VaginaShmergina · 07/09/2008 09:06

Shabby you have been treated like that, that aint no friend my love, ditch her !

shabster · 07/09/2008 09:19

Rather not say cause it makes me fed up!!

V - dont worry the 'friend' was elbowed several moons ago. I didn't even reply just let 'the friend' stew in there own shite poo!

HarrogateMum · 07/09/2008 09:55

fair enough. If she is not a part of your life anymore I would just ignore it as you said. Dont rise to the bait or sink to her level. She will probably be sat there regretting what she has done (if she was halfway decent I mean).

shabster · 07/09/2008 09:58

Ta HM - thats what I thought - ho hum another day in paradise!!

You OK HM?

frumpygrumpy · 07/09/2008 10:38

Shabs How crap! I hope you have deleted the message.......so you don't revisit it and stew and stew. I think not replying is so dignified. She won't even know whether you got it now.....she maybe thinks you have a different phone and number.
