Happy Anniversary Triplets my lovely! 30 years, not to be sniffed out.

ditto Momma! Hope you've both slept long and deeply tonight!

accordiongirl · 23/09/2008 00:48

Happy Anniversary Triplets.

You can hear an accordion playing...

accordiongirl · 23/09/2008 00:54

FG for poet laureate.
You're a genius!

shabster · 23/09/2008 06:48

Hope it is a good day for you both - all my love, as always xxxxxx

Right have skim caught up. taken me an hour

glad you are all ok and you have a hol booked Trips.

Things reasonably quite here, the baby has hand foot and mouth and we went to a BBQ saturday and ds#3 got food poisoning. So when i say quiet i mean normal.

Momma are you getting married?

Snorris how far along are you? You too Ooogs?

I saw Doris popped in lovely!

Now what is going on between Tom and Shannon? Is she worthy?

shabster · 23/09/2008 11:39

Tom and Shannon - is she worthy PMSL!!

She is a lovely kid - her mum, on the other hand, is barking mad, very loud and very weird!!!

largeginandtonic · 23/09/2008 11:42

Hmmmmm, barking parents scare me. You have to be polite and smile at them. I am not very good at that if they weird me out.

How is little Lewis?

shabster · 23/09/2008 11:44

Just got back from seeing Lew!!! you were ALL right saying he would know me. He has been grinning at me and snuggling! He is madly and deeply in love with his mummy! She is doing a fab job.

We talked about how she felt and she said she had found his birth and emergency csection traumatic. Confirmed to me how much she loves Dan and Lewis.

We had a great gab and a gossip. I think most of my 'emotions and feelings' are MY own fears and worries. Ems was just the same with me as she always has been. In the words of the mighty Robbie Williams 'I didn't loose my mind it was mine to give away!'

[content and in love with Lew emoticon]

largeginandtonic · 23/09/2008 11:46

Aw good news then Shabs! Bet he has grown so much!

It is such a shock having your first baby, let alone an em c section at the eleventh hour. Glad she is getting back on her feet.

I am havng some lovely Braxton Hicks to pass the morning. Dontcha just love being pregnant

shabster · 23/09/2008 11:48

Lew is 13lbs 1oz, massive navy blue eyes, tiny bit of red hair, chunky arms and legs, a bum you could bite. He 'talks' away all the time - daba daba dab dub!!

He has a raging temper! He likes to be carried around with his back to your tummy so he can nosey and he can cry without tears for his mummys attention.

Loves watching 'Sponge bob square pants' and cannot wait to get his hands on Luke (Dan and Ems cat)

He is - quite simply - delicious!

largeginandtonic · 23/09/2008 11:53

Squidgable babies, especially boys

Beau has a shock of red hair too, redder by the day in fact. All the others are blonde! Tis very funny.

Leoloopydoo · 23/09/2008 12:01

Happy Anniversary Triplets! Wow, 30 years! That is really something to think about and celebrate (in whatever way you can).

Shabster !

Ruby, glad you are feeling better. I also made it out for a run yesterday evening and feel a little bit of the angriness (SP?) has gone. Want to go again tonight but am at work today so will be on bedtime duty tonight.

Mars, hope you are feeling better today.

Pazza, my experiences say don't compromise with the nanny, you will know when the right one comes along and will always be irritated by one that isn't right. This is too close to home and too involved to have someone that doesn't feel right.

At work today, only 5 weeks to go, that's 15 working days.....!

shabster · 23/09/2008 13:01

No idea why but this has become my song to Lew! Picked him up and rocked him and sang 'I love you, yes I do, I love you...'

Haven't heard this song for years but Lewis loved it

Its a sin to tell a lie!

shabster · 23/09/2008 13:03

....and its from the 1930's!!!! My Grandad Ernie used to always have the radio playing songs like this. Would take us to Southport on a Sunday and we would ride back in his car listening to the radio - miss my Grandad Ernie

I went swimming today . First proper exercise I've done in about 6 years . I did 30 lengths in 40 minutes (which is apparently just 2 lengths short of half a mile) - afterwards I felt very pleased with myself, exhausted and extremely hungry .

Happy anniversary Trips. Have you heard from the lady about the house yet?

Shabs, so pleased you had a good time with Lew and Em.

Rubes, glad you're feeling better today. Mars, how about you? Anything you need?

estar, thank you - totally agree with you on the keyworker thing. I asked for different ones - will be interesting to hear what they have to say when they do their assessments.

Momma, I got post today . I really wasn't expecting anything at all - you are v. naughty, but thank you .

Right, think I need to lie down before the school run .

Leoloopydoo · 23/09/2008 14:24

Well done TKB!

triplets · 23/09/2008 15:21

Hi all my lovlely friends,
Well, it certainly wasnt peeing down 30 years ago today, I remember waking up and hearing my Mum talking (as usual) at the gate saying "isnt she lucky, its a beautiful day", and it was. The next morning we flew off to Sorrento on our honeymoon...............seems so many moons ago. H gave me some lovely jewellery and roses, we have had money in cards and a voucher for the most expensive restaurant in Deal. But...........I have the biggest cloud over my head, H still not eating at all, he is in bed now, had his blood test this morning for the next chemo on Thurs, if it hits harder than this one, which seems to be the pattern, we are going to be very lucky to get to Devon on the 9th. I thought I would cry today for Matthew, but I haven`t, but I did out of the blue for my Dad! It was reading my Mums card and seeing it signed ,love Mum. I just got a huge lump in my throat and burst into tears, he was so proud of me that day. Oh well, heres to better times!
