Can't ignore you Ruby I have had lots of those days. Still do get them from time to time. Go with it. Go out just for the time you need to and give in. Let yourself. It will all still be out there when you are ready. Don't worry, if you get wallowing, we'll thump your arse xxxxxx.

shabster · 22/09/2008 10:12

I have those days all the time.....I had to face my fears on Saturday as we went over to see my bro and his wife in Cheshire and DH insisted we take the kids to Chester zoo on Saturday - was good but soooo crowded and thats one of my worst nightmares!

chin up Ruby, for me these things seem to go in cycles so there is always a bit of light at the end of the tunnel......

PS wine helps.

Leoloopydoo · 22/09/2008 15:29

-hi all,

separate key workers (whatever they are), birthday party invites for only one twin... I am dreading dealing with these things!

Mars, sleep, sleep, sleep...! if its a virus or exhaustion its what your body is telling you you need.

I think I am turning into the yelling mother from hell, ds1 is really pushing me to my limits (I also keep squeezing his arm really hard everytime I get angry with him). Have completely lost control of him again at the moment and don't know how to deal with him. On top of that I just have a really short fuse at the moment. Really worried I am going to lose my temper in the wrong place and completely embarass myself . going to try to go for my first run in months this evening to try to get it out of me.

Leoloopydoo · 22/09/2008 15:34

Ruby, I also have days like that. its tough to give into it though when you've got small dcs at home. Days like that I am torn between wanting to go and wander away somewhere lonely and isolated on my own (with the fantasy of never coming back) or just stay in bed because its too much effort to get up and dressed.

shabster · 22/09/2008 18:31

Good evening me owd muckers - everybody happy?

frumpygrumpy · 22/09/2008 19:00

Hi Shabs, I have a broken phone and must take it to the shop tomorrow. I miss not having text....... I also have 3 miserable children this evening and a miserable DP this evening. So I have poured a glass of wine [feeble grin]. I have spent the entire day trying to make sense of my house but only got halfway through before the school run came..... Och, tomorrow is another day and so I will wait for it.

frumpygrumpy · 22/09/2008 19:01

Oh yeah, and DP is watching the weans so I can do an online Tesco shop.................[can'tbearsed]

I truly cannot believe that Momma teaches "FlingYerTasselsThisWayLikeThis" classes, online, and as fast as that! I am truly, truly, stunned.

Eh? whossit? was I dribbling?
Yes accordiongirl you were.
Are there two accordiongirls in here?
Yes accordiongirl there is.
Come quickly, all the others are looking out of the window.
What are they looking at?
They're looking at all the fine and brave multiple mums as they go about their day.
Oh yes.
See? There goes Ruby going by with her dog, doing so well THIS week too by the looks of it, waving a nintendo which she says belongs to a child, but we all know it's hers. And there's Mars having a nice nap in a deckchair, sleep tight Marslady, aw doesn't she look cute with her eyes closed. And look look! There's pazza leching over her old man in leathers. Take your time, Pazza, there's no rush! And there's the mighty Shab of all Shabsters and there goes our Triplets off on her holiday (OK so now my window is showing hopes for the future, but it's a really good window and it can do this, OK?).

PazzaPlusTwo · 22/09/2008 21:58

And I thought you just had a window on an endless traffic jam caused by the worlds longest ever roadworks/building works ever ever, AG!

Glass of wine to go with your view?

PazzaPlusTwo · 22/09/2008 22:10

Hey I tried out a potential nanny today, she is very nice, I got loads of work done while she pootled about with the dts and did some cleaning (yay!!!)

I have another 'on trial' tomorrow and two more to interview later this week. Only one is actually a qualified nanny (and appropriately expensive, naturally) and it is taking ages to check references and do these interviews. TBH I'm knackered already, I can't decide (they all seem 80% right but not quite right each in a different way) and I want to put my head under the covers and cry big boo hoo tears and for everyone to go away and just live in a duvet tent with dts forever

D'y ever think you might be overdoing it?

Why cant there be ONE perfect person and three much-less-good-and-not-even-nice-so-i-dont-have-to-feel-terribly-guilty-turning-them-down people? Or I'd even settle for one 80%-right-but-good-enough-to-take-a-punt-on and three drunken-axe-murderers.

Oh and while I'm at this I Fancy Party under my duvet can I have lots of money and no mortgage running out next week please?

D'y ever think I just need a good s* and a night out on the town with bezzie mate??!

PazzaPlusTwo · 22/09/2008 22:12

OMG - only the night on the town with bezzie mate !!!

PazzaPlusTwo · 22/09/2008 22:20

Shabs that is neenzandhertwinbeans - sounds like her pink bean is an honorary blue bean!
