triplets · 21/09/2008 14:31

I must be the biggest nut of all, having triplets aged 46! Shabs knows all this already, feeling knacked. Woke at 2.40am to hear H in the shower, bedroom reeking. 10mins later H came ack in, said sorry he would have to put the light on. Bed was soaked with you know what, Gladys had emptied big time, everything had to come off, all king size bedding. He looked so fed up, painfully thin, black and blue from the injections, it just broke my heart. I brought all the washing down, rinsed it out then put the first lot in them machine. Got back to bed at 4am, then woke at 7 with a stiff neck, and pain between my shouder blades, killing me now. This morning I made some jelly, put it in the top of the fridge, shut the dor and the bowl tipped over, 5 shelves of sticky mess! H in bed, went at 1pm, won`t eat, so I am about to drag the trio off for a walk, though feel like curling up on the sofa ...........joke huh? Back later xx

triplets · 21/09/2008 14:32

Oh, and the owners of the holiday house are not replying to my yes please e-mail or phone calls

frumpygrumpy · 21/09/2008 14:59

Oh Trips Why does Gladys do it? Is this the norm for Gladys' up and down the country to be doing this? We've got to get this better for you. I'm sure the owners will reply tomorrow. Deep breathing.

I used to do quite a bit of yoga and I always thought deep breathing was a bit of a joke......but it really can help calm. Lie down if possible and breathe in slowly to say the count of 7, then breathe out slowly to say the count of 6. So your in breath is longer than the out. Then reverse it, breathe in slowly for 6 and out for 7. You concentrate so hard on your breath that you release tensions in your body.

Another thing our teacher would make us do was look for where we were holding tension. I thought I'd released all mine until she told me to think of where my tongue was. It was stuck to the roof of my mouth. She would get us to lower it back down to the bottom of our mouths, behind the lower teeth. Uncurl your fingers and lie with palms up. Once you learn where you need to release, calm comes quicker and quicker.

Do I sound like I know what I am talking about?

frumpygrumpy · 21/09/2008 15:02

Off to the airport now. Have a box of tissues stuffed up each nostril.

shabster · 21/09/2008 16:59

Oh Im sweating like a shoplifter caught on camera - MANCHESTER CITY 6 PORTSMOUTH 0!!!!!

That has made my day.

triplets · 21/09/2008 20:51

Another day in paradise at Chateau Peace, if ever we have got the wrong surname! Poor H took 2 out this morning, there was a local french(we can see France, did I ever tell you?) braderie along the beach this morning, whilst I stayed here to sort out laundry! He came back, looked so tired went to bed at 1pm, no lunch, got up at 5pm, wouldnt eat a thing and went back to bed before 8pm. Made the kids all go up at 8pm, they are still talking now, but at least they are up! My back is aching and aching and I think if Gladys plays up tonight I am leaving home. He wants us to go out tomorrow as we wont be able to go anywhere on our big day on Tues as he has blood test etc, but he can`t eat, he is soooooooooo tired its just not worth it and I think he feels bad. I just want him to get better
Still no word from the holiday owner, grrrrrr

frumpygrumpy · 21/09/2008 20:56

Trips, even if your trio shout blue murder (I love that phrase, my granny always says it ) don't respond. Maybe this is the way, earlier and earlier until they show you they will behave enough to make it later. Wow............I never knew you could see France!

Blimey Oriley...........the only prog on the box I am watching apart from The Tudors, is Tess of the DUrbevilles. 5 mins from the end Becca is whispering to me from upstairs, "my nose is blocked", I whipsr "Ill be up in 5 mins", she then bursts into tears and runs back to her room, slams her door and wakes her father up, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I then have to go into our room, say sorry, get the Olbas Oil, drop some on her pillow and she carries on saying she needs Vick!! What can I do for an aching back, in desperation now I have just taken a diazapam.I just need Gladys to play up and Ill be heading north on the milk train. Any-one know of a cheap b&b nr Bolton

Hi Pazz, how are the pazettes?

PazzaPlusTwo · 21/09/2008 22:24

trips that tess program looked good until i read the blurb 'tess has to bury her child' - i already embarrassed myself crying in 'mum & baby' cinema watching the Duchess when Keira had to give away her newborn daughter, i have NO stomach for heart-wrenching tv these days!

actually even worse was making dh turn off a disney film when the ickle wickle baby dinosaur got sepawated fwom her mummy and daddy - i was in floods...

PazzaPlusTwo · 21/09/2008 22:25

trips, pazzettes are SO GORGEOUS my heart just explodes when i look at them

PazzaPlusTwo · 21/09/2008 22:34

fg - pmsl at Cillit Bang story

when i was 9 and db was 11 our parents took us on an amazing 3-week trip to New York, Washington DC and Boston. We went to MOMA and MIT and all the big historical sights, national parks etc etc. it cost them a blardy fortune.

To this day 25 years later I can sing:
'Na-bis-co - chewy cookiieeees!!!' and
'found the Lucky Charms, the flavours are delicious! Skittles, are rainbow-flavoured every time, and Lucky Charms have them free, in-side'
and I mainly remember db and I only wanting to go to McD's Drive-thrus and pizza huts, we even invented our own song which bizarrely went 'drive-thruuuuu ... och aye the noooooo' which we must have sang repeatedly in the back seat for 80% of the trip

my poor parents

no wonder they are snickering now we have our own dcs

triplets · 21/09/2008 22:38

Only me and Shabs will remember this one

You`ll wonder where the yellow went
When you brush your teeth with Pepsident!

And the petrol ad

Boom boom boom boo
Esso blue!

MarsLady · 21/09/2008 22:48

Momma you got mail! Sorry!

Hi Pazza my darling how you doing?

Trips I hope your hols work out. FG he'll be back. Shabs... he'll love you eternally. Chops I'm sure you'll be fine.

Sorry ladies... I think I'm not very well. I have incredibly heavy eyelids (you know when you haven't slept for days and can't keep them open?) It doesn't matter how early I go to bed or how many naps I have in the day... I can't shake the feeling. Have already had 2 naps today and NO I'M BLARDY NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! My memory is shot to pieces, I overbooked myself the other day and had to cancel and rearrange things. My french is due in Milton Keynes on Wednesday which means it needs to be in the post tomorrow or hand delivered by Wednesday.

I've had to cancel social things left right and centre. DD2 is off on school journey before God wakes tomorrow. And I'm starting to feel sorry for myself. I have a client due imminently (I have a back up for if I'm truly ill) and another who is due at the beginnning of October only the fecking labour ward is closed for refurbishment! due open a couple of days before her EDD so I really don't need her to give birth early!

And the horrid teens haven't sorted the dishwasher meaning the kitchen is a right state but I'm not doing anything and if they don't sort it by the time they leave for school they'll be lucky if they touch the PC again!

shabster · 21/09/2008 22:58
