triplets · 15/08/2008 23:50

OK I guess I better crawl into my corner of the bed to, not alot of room for me these days, shall I tell Gladys you say goodnIght FG

charleymouse · 16/08/2008 07:55

Morning all. It is the weekend, woohoo. DH and DC still in bed. Peace and tranquility in the house of mouse.

Ooogs house has come on even more than pictures now, they need updating, in fact (CM looks around surreptitiously) it is (checks again) nearly finished. Don't say it out loud though it may hear and something else will delay things. Shhhhh

Anyhow had washing machine connected last night so off to do the last months worth of washing, Ho hum.

charleymouse · 16/08/2008 08:00

Trips tell that Gladys to get her lazy a**e out of bed and get you a cuppa.

FG how you feeling, I think I ate to much curry last night as well.

Merly I feel your pain I really do.

Momma that cake was delish

Morning Shabs and Merry and Egg and Ruby.

shabster · 16/08/2008 08:41

Morning girls - everybody happy?

Egg · 16/08/2008 09:26

Well firstly, and most importantly, Merly OMG! You must have been gutted. I would have cried. Strangely I myself ate 3/4 of a tub of ice cream on Thursday. It was triple chocolate .

MerryM, hello and glad you like the pics. I always enjoyed looking at others' b/g twin pics when I was pg, I think esp Oooggs and Momma who had been the most recent (I think). Bugger about the GD, I was convinced I would get it as I ate a lot of cream cakes and biscuits and chocolate and suchlike but thankfully I did not succumb. As for the bump in that pic, if I had turned a bit more sideways you would have seen it looking like a torpedo but it was never truly huge.

Trips at Gladys being naked in bed with H!

Charley hope I did not make you sad commenting on your pic, but it really is lovely.

Grrr. DD is awake again after 20 mins nap. Now she will wake DS2 and they will be grumpy again all morning. Grrrrrrr.

HarrogateMum · 16/08/2008 09:37

Morning! I'm still wandering around in my dressing gown (showered but wet hair), half heartedly tidying.........I'm addicted to the Olympics Love it!!! Watched the boys win the rowing, fantastic! Watching the cycling later (one of the boys used to be at DD1's school, he came in last year to chat to them all, fab!, what an inspiration for kids!!!). And then there is the small matter of rippling muscles........

Hope Glayds has slipped herself into something this morning......I hope she doesn't get pregnant, sleeping so close........

HM, its usually pizza and lasagne from our local italian on Fridays but last night DP felt the need. I'm fine today, but last night my tummy looked like the Millenium Dome.

Right. I'm off to dry my hair and make the beds. Then it will be coffee time

oooggs · 16/08/2008 12:04

no HM last night we had stew (its winter in Cornwall)

Charley - would love to see move house photos - love looking at this like that (as well as babies & weddings)

Pregnant - Snorris, LG&T, me then Neeeerly3 - hope I haven't missed one

Weddings - Lydle & Momma (think thtas all)

On holiday somewhere sunny - Mars

Just cut ds's hair. A traumatic experience for all of us (ds, dh and I). Had to be pinned down (dh) whilst screaming (ds) and clipping (me). All in all took less than 5 minutes, and didn't even get to do the fringe. It is truly massacred (though it sounded like we were massacring the dear boy!). Just reinforcing his hatred of hair cuts, but it was really, really long and getting hard to wash (which is also a big screaming fit, so only happens once a week).

Phew. Am tired now. And I don't even have twins yet. Am in admiration of you lot.

gruesomefoursome · 16/08/2008 12:49

Hi all Well I feel like a right muppett!! Was in the shower shaving my legs last night when i slipped and i have now broken two toes and they hurt like a bitch!!!

I am now on that many painkillers i should be flying with the clouds!!!

Egg · 16/08/2008 13:16

Moussaka last night for us. Tesco Finest .

Gruesome - sounds very painful. Have heard Gin helps numb pain (taken orally).

Oooggs thanks for pregnant and wedding round up. Thought there were more pregnant (obv not counting those who are expecting their multiples, as I know there are a few!).

Talking of which, Merry, when I was expecting DTs I made friends with a local lady who has three children incl one who was newborn at the time and I remember saying to her "oh god I don't know how you look so fresh I am exhausted and I only have one child and how on earth will I feel when I have twins as well sob" and she said "ahh but you wont be pregnant then will you" and she was right. The minute I got the blighters out I had so much more energy. Even having a lot of unbroken sleep for months was nothing compared to how shattered I felt when pregnant.

FG just turned on the "limpets" (as DS1 calls the Olympics) and saw our cycling boys getting their medals. I am enjoying hearing our National Anthem being played a bit more often this time!

Merry post a pic of DS with his new hair on your profile . We have never done a home job on DS1 but he screamed the hairdressers down the first 3 times. Now he is an expert as he has the world's fastest growing hair so he and DH go together every 6 weeks or so and he sits on his own in the chair eating a packet of Twiglets and chatting happily. Phew.

shabster · 16/08/2008 13:17

Ouch Gruesome - ouch and double ouch xx

gruesomefoursome · 16/08/2008 14:37

Yep it is. The worst thing now is will be house bound for the next week as not allowed to drive and with four bored kids thats not much fun!!

frumpygrumpy · 16/08/2008 15:12

Gruesome!!!!!! So sore!!!

Hope you know you must lie with feet up for at least three days and help the pain with much medication, alcohol and trash mags they are harsh but they do actually work very well on sore bits if you can stand it.

Loving the cycling! The blonde scotsman is an Edinburgh lad and went in to DD1's class last year. Inspirational! How fantastic. He has two golds in just as many days and going for a third tomorrow. AND THE THIGHS!!!!!! Yum

Gruesome, you must sit back and relax now

frumpygrumpy · 16/08/2008 15:13

OOOh, which foot? You could maybe do some sneaky driving in a few days, depends if its on the clutch foot........

One of the lads who won gold in the cycling (I think the team event?) is called Jason Kenny and he comes from our town - I dont know him or his family but I just thought I would show off a bit!!!

triplets · 16/08/2008 18:52

Hi girls,
Somebody pour me a glass of chardonay and cook me something nice for my supper please, cos I feel really fed up tonight. H had the pump off at 1pm, because the nurse was 30 mins late he got himself all in a huff and shouted at me, and said I was a nasty woman!! He then felt spaced out and went to bed, so I walked for 40 mins with the kids to my Mums and have just walked back, and no-one asked at Mums how he was, there were 2 brothers, sil, 2 nieces, 18 and 20, and my Mum! Just would be nice if someone offered to give us a break, take the kids out for an hour, still another 18 days until they go back to school. Weather is awful, feels like Autumn and I need a holiday. I want a treat, feel like stamping my feet but realise how childish that would look!

shabster · 16/08/2008 19:24

Do a wee on the floor and then stamp in it Trips

How weird that nobody asked about H!! Sounds like DH family! OMG I wish we were closer, in distance, to each other. It is really cold up here as well and raining like mad. Its like a late October kind of day.

They tried to take Beth off the ventilator today but she couldn't cope with breathing on her own so they have put her back on it. On Facebook there are about 8 of our family - nephews, BIL etc etc. They can see my comments for the day all about Beth but not one of them has been in touch or even sounded concerned. When MIL died last year my niece was concerned for her step Grandad. None of the rest of the family like him. Because she spent a lot of time with him they have all decided to fall out with her!! How weird are families.

I hope they all rot in the place they will eventually be going to xx

oooggs · 16/08/2008 19:41

oh yes on the pregnant round up bit I didn't list those pregnant with multiples - just those who already have multiples who are pregnant - blimey I sound drunk
