Damn, sort out has found cotton bottom nappies in newborn or med. Prince is too big/small for either size. Am going to trial the dts in them this week and may try to get some cheapo terry nappies for Prince to use till he gains another 1lb. Needs must and all that. He was 14lb and a half at weigh in on Thurs! No wonder my back aches!

DT2 finally walking. After all these months of worry he took a few tentative steps on Fri and now he's feeling much more confident. Still very wobbly and won't go far but I can see he's going to be much happier now.

Momma-have one bag ready and waiting, have only done half the clothes so far though. Do you and Tigger know about the shop Jackanory in St Thomas? I've just discovered it, went in on Friday to discuss what baby stuff I can sell in there. They'll take buggies, changing tables, crib etc.

momma - talking of mixed race twins - did you read about a mixed couple who had one black and one white twin last week 1 in a 1,000,000 chance of that happening

egg was going away - not sure when she was due back

that shop sounds interesting pixi

new photos on profile!!!!!

MERLYPUSS · 27/07/2008 21:29

Ooogs - great piccies. Do your pair still share a cot? We split ours up a good few months ago (at about 3 mths) as Isaac was doing circuits in the night and sicking Thomas' head

oooggs · 27/07/2008 21:31

they moved into their own cots at 5 mths when they got too big to share!!

poor Thomas - I'm sure he will get his own back soon

MERLYPUSS · 27/07/2008 21:41

That should have read 'sucking' although he did sick up on him quite a few times. Isaac has since learnt to flip onto his tummy (but not back again) and wakes up with bar mark on one cheek. I've never known such a wriggly kid. When I was pregnant we always though the larger DT (Thomas) was the wriggler but I am now convinced it was Isaac and the only reason he is so much smaller is coz he burns up so many more calories.

oooggs · 27/07/2008 21:43

and I thought you meant 'kicking'

piximon · 27/07/2008 21:43

oooggs/Momma the lady who runs the shop has been there for 22 years (tel: 01392 221290). Basically you tell her what you've got and she puts you on waiting list. When she's sold an item in her shop she calls next on list for that item. She has a few ways of selling (part exchange, or she buys it for half of what she'll sell it for or she sells item for you and keeps a smaller chunk). Only problem is all the waiting.

She does sell seasonal clothes but I prefer to pass them on and know who's getting them.

Does anyone have any ex of NCT sales? There's one coming up in sept and I wondered if it'd be worth getting a stall. Can you only sell small items? Need to clear as much as I can before moving again in Oct, much as it pains me to do so (natural hoarder vs bills).
