Next patient!.........................

tkband3 · 13/06/2008 13:53

Ruby, that's exactly the result I'm hoping for . Right now though I just feel completely wiped out - feels a bit lame to feel that way after such a small procedure though. Was supposed to be doing a play date for DD1 after school but can't face having an extra child in the house!

Am just off to lie down - maybe the DTs will let me have 5 minutes' peace .

tkband3 · 13/06/2008 13:57

Maddening isn't it, you wait so long for these appointments, that the initial problem has gone and you've got another one instead! Hope you don't have to wait too long for a speech therapist. My cousin's wife is a speech therapist, but only works in term-times - you never know, she might fancy a bit of extra private work in the holidays (they live in Crouch End). Let me know if you'd like me to ask her for you!

Molly was terrible!! You could her above the whole nursery, because she was so loud (don't know WHERE she gets that from) stammering. Its so frustrating for parents and the child I think.
She had a couple of sessions and it worked wonders, apparently if you can catch them before a certain age its always curable Tis not Gods word, just what I've heard!! Oh look I'm teaching and doing poetry at the same time!!! How multi tasking am I? PMSL

Tommy is home Said PGL was better than last year. He has abseiled off a cliff, zip wire, fencing, archery, quad biking, rock climbing, etc etc. He also managed to brush his teeth every day and have two showers!!

He is suntanned, covered in freckles, has lost weight and is just soooooo grown up!!

First two questions when he got off the coach 'Can we get some chips on the way home and when can I see my nephew!!'

I lurve my kids

tkband3 · 13/06/2008 16:27

Welcome home Tomster . Sounds like he's had a wonderful time Shabs - and 2 showers...is that each day or just 2 for the whole week? .

shabster · 13/06/2008 16:30

the whole week

Better than last year though - last year the soap came back in the wrapper and the shower gel came back unopened. [skunk smell emoticon]

tkband3 · 13/06/2008 16:35

LOL. My friend's son came back from PGL a couple of weeks ago with all his clean pants still clean . I think she just threw out the ones he had on!

MERLYPUSS · 13/06/2008 16:48

Bet he didnt wash at all - just ran the soap under the cold tap
Oh and for the record I am absolutely nothing to do with M/Neely. I AM NOT THE ONE EXPECTING.
I knitted the DTS

Congrats BTW.

MarsLady · 13/06/2008 16:51

Oh I remember those days. I'd unpack his case and pop everything back in the drawer and fling him into the bath! [Pepe le Pew!!!!!!!!]

MarsLady · 13/06/2008 16:51

Congratulations Neeeely

ChopsTheDuck · 13/06/2008 16:52

sounds like he had a fantastic time!

My dt2 has discovered morning errections. Paraded round to everyone this morning, 'Look, My wee wee BIGGER!'. Now he is trying to make it bigger again.
I keep telling him yes darling, but I don't want to see it, but it jsut seems to encourage him! I really hope he doesnt do that at preschool.

estar · 13/06/2008 17:40

LMOA Chops. I used to take mine to the toilet all bleary-eyed, then they would cry because they accidentally sprayed the whole bathroom! DH regularly woke up to me shouting at them: "You have to point it down!"

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 13/06/2008 17:54
