Oh Mighty, illustrious Frumpster you paint pictures with your words. That round up was just brilliant....round of applause for you.

Just got back from seeing Lewis. Tom was desperate to see him. He confessed to telling one of the PGL staff he needed to see his nephew and crying PGL helper probably in his late teens put his arm around him and said 'are you sure you are his uncle.' Tommy replied 'yes theres a massive gap in age between me and my brother my mum always says I was a late and wonderful miracle.' PGL helper went into the ugly cry with him and said 'Dont worry mate friday will soon be here.'

Lewis has his eyes open wide, listening to his mummy and daddys voices. Lifting his head - smiling the smile that only wind can make a newborn do!!! Tom was amazed at how different he is in just a few days.

Rubyrubyrubyrubyrubyruby!!!! That sounds ace! How fantastic that it should all work out just so, just as planned and just as you worked for. Well done you! p.s. the boots will always work with jeans.

Dingmydong, we had similar a few months back. DD1 isn't even at nursery anymore but wanted her turn. Luckily 3 children = 3 nights (Fri, Sat and Sun) so they each had teddy in bed for a turn. Other than that, I took photos of him with them (it was, luckily for me, the weekend we were going to see Lazytown and then he sat on the couch pretty much forgotten about. Give it tonight, tomorrow they will chill. Maybe he could be ill and require hospital treatment.....two nurses...one to bandage and one to administer medicine.

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 13/06/2008 21:06

Rubes, your w/e away sounds amazing. I'd love someone to do that for my 40th (which is only 6 months away [not happy about that emoticon]) - perhaps some of you could drop hints in DH's direction .

Oh and Rubes, hope you don't mind me asking, but I'm still getting quite bad cramps and as I'm not used to bad period pain, I'm being a bit of a wuss about it. Did you have bad cramps after getting your mirena and how long for? Am planning on milking it a bit though, and getting DH to do ballet run in the morning so I can have a lie-in (I normally get mine on Sunday, but it's Father's Day so I think we should swap ).

Think I might get an early night - send me away if you see me here after 10pm.

Oh and Hoochie, I'll send you Shabby's address, no screwing sweet-talking required .
