I was at the most wonderful birth this morning.

My lady's waters went, then contractions started. She called me and I went. Baby just breathed out into water. Truly glorious!

Hiya Merly - I did indeed mean you!!! Danny rang me to tell me and he was so excited. Lew has lived in your gifts for the last week. He was a proper 'toff' in clothes that fitted properly. I think it was HM who started your pregnancy rumour....I just love a wind up and ran with it

Shabs I must go to bed, keep getting side tracked on her! Up at 6am three big packed lunches to make! Have a lovely time with Em and Lewis tomorrow, give her my love and my number! Oh and TRIPS
DTS slept until 2.30. Plugged Thomas for 1/2 hour. Isaac still snoozing. Both slept til 5.30. Both fed. Both woke up at 8.30 (admittedly I had put Isaac in bed with us but hey ho)Result! (Merly does victory lap round multiples lounge with puke stained jim-jam top pulled over her head)

It was shabby. It really was. Haven't seen such a gorgeous completely natural birth for a while. The first two mws that attended were not happy that she wanted to give birth in water and called in a third mw who was experienced. She brought calm back (where the others had stolen it).
