Shabs, I can see you up that ladder. You'll hurt tomorrow and I will pour you a deep, deep bath when you get in.

MarsLady · 26/04/2008 17:08

Welcome Times

It may be a madhouse but that's so completely normal!

shabster · 26/04/2008 17:38

Im home...and very knackered, and eyes full of wood chip wallpaper, but the two steamers we had going have stopped me coughing!!

I also got to nosey at all the beautiful stuff they have for Lewis. Winnie the Poo bedding, etc etc. AND I helped Em pack her hospital bag. my babies are having a baby AND...I felt Lew kicking and hiccuping....

Still hate decorating though.

Emma said 'what else do I need to put in my hospital bag' she wont believe me cause I said 4 cans of lager and 10 cigs She has the power of being a mummy...at one time she would believe anything I said.

iamdingdong · 26/04/2008 18:03

hello ladies, had a lovely day with DT2 as DT1 has been a bit under the weather, so DT2 and I went shopping on our own - she was lovely and it makes me wish we could have more time with them individually, they are so different. We have also done gardening, planted potatoes, beans, carrots, rocket, other salad leaves, spring onions [smug] whether or not we'll actually be able to eat any of it is another matter

frumpygrumpyhasnofaceon · 26/04/2008 20:29

dingdong, that sounds FAB! My dad grows tons and we eat it all summer, I adore it and I wish we had a garden bigger than a stamp to do the same. He grows garlic, onions, tatties, strawberries (heaps), peppers, tomatoes (loads), shallots, beetroot, rhubarb, cucumber, carrots, rocket. Its my idea of heaven. I/we have a herb garden.......

My mum and dad bought DD1 a tiny plastic greenhouse for her birthday (Jan). When we go away next weekend, she will set it up with my dad. He has little plants ready for her. She is so interested and is green fingered. I just like to eat the spoils maybe I could grown juniper berries and lemons and limes PMSL!

Hi girls,
Things have been manic, I will need an op to graft the phone off my ear! Feel as though I have been running all week, so was determined that tonight would be a quiet night and get the kids into bed by 9pm, success! Went to see H today and again amazed as he is looking so well, honestly! He came out of ITU at 4pm yesterday, they only kept him in there as there were no beds elsewhere, what surprise! They have removed all the drains and other bits and bobs, so all he has left is the lovely stoma bag, which I had to see today for the first time, apparently there are "bags for all occasions", so I think a little diamonte one would look nice! The kids went in yesterday for the first time, Rebecca who has cried and been worried sick, instantly went into Florence Nightingale mode, totally unphased, the boys stood well back, Tom Tom squeezing my hand and asking to go, and poor James burst into tears and indeed today couldnt even say hello to him on the phone without crying! So looks as though he will be home on Mon, then at least I wont have that 40 min journey each day. Apart from feeling physically exhausted I think I am ok, ...think! Have missed you bunch not being able to get on here, Shabs, Beccas room needs a touch of paint when you are finished, do I hear a Winnie the Pooh theme? Welcome to the triplet mum to be, summer is coming which means boot fairs, we have found the most amazing bargains, I will be here to help all the way along! As long as you bring me nuts!

frumpygrumpyhasnofaceon · 26/04/2008 22:36

Hi triplets, good to hear from you . You are sounding good. Interesting to hear about the kids and their different ways of coping......funny how they changed as the week went on....

Momma, you and me both, shall we get married and buy a veg patch doll? PMSL grin]

frumpygrumpyhasnofaceon · 26/04/2008 22:36

triplets · 26/04/2008 22:44

Hiya ladies - would imagine most of you are akip as I post!! I went up to my friends house tonight - she is so down, which is very unusual for her. I have come home more sober than when I went if that makes sense. Should have stayed in really.

Trips my darling - you sound so much better and upbeat. Round one almost done??

shabster · 27/04/2008 07:11

Morning ladies.

Now that lad of mine has passed his pregnancy dreams onto me!!!!! Dreaming all night about a little sandy haired boy with freckles - not an anxiety dream but it will be interesting to see if thats what Lewis looks like

Conversation yesterday:-

Dan: Mum do you ever stop worrying about your children? (Meaning mums in general not just me)

Me: Nope

Dan: You cant still worry about me I am 27 this year. Do you still worry about me?

Me: Yep

Dan: Does that last forever Mum?

Me: Yep

Dan: What happens when Lewis wants to go out when he is 18 I will worry about him.

Me: You'll have to say 'Go on lad and have a good time' cause then he will be an adult

Dan: OMG think there will only be one baby in this family

I cant wait to meet this baby.

largeginandtonic · 27/04/2008 08:57

Trips i am glad that Harry is doing so well, it will be lovely to have him home again with you all. The boys will be much better i am sure when he is out of the hospital setting. It can be quite daunting for a kiddie, they also always smell a bit funny which may put them off Will they transport him home for you?

Welcome Times!!!! Such fab news, you are definately in the right place. Dont worry about the money, everything will sort itself out. Just shout if you need equipment and we will all look for you In the mean time REST lots and enjoy the last few months of freeeeeeeeddddooooooommmmmmm

FG i love you

Momma how was the spanking? Oooer.

Shabs the dreams sound lovely! Wonder if he will come out looking just like that? Spooky if he does.

I am drowning in children and issues. I have a slipped disk so am in agony mst of the time and my colposcopy last week has given me a lovely infection. I have decided against having any more babies at least for a few years and am now terrified that the one bonk i managed 2 weeks ago has knocked me up I know it only takes one but fgs... fingers crossed please!

shabster · 27/04/2008 09:39

G & T

I dreamt about Tom before I was even pregnant!! Matt and Gareth brought him to me in my dream. When he was born he looked exactly like he was in the dream - they called him the 'golden boy???' My Nan, had the same dream in the same week and asked me if I was pregnant when she saw me!! Think we are just a family of witches

I often know what people are REALLY like when I meet them for the first time.

Hope you soon feel loads better G&T.
