oh good luck pazza - she will be done and dusted by now I guess.

I have had the day from hell. I have a really important meeting at work in the diary which has taken months to organise. My Mum has the kids on Mondays and rung at 6.30am to say she was ill and couldnt look after them. DH is in Paris so I was scuppered. I ended up having to get my friend who has 2 pre-school kids already to come round with her mum and looka fter them for the morning so I could go to this meeting. When I got there our 3 visitors were there, but 3 out of the 4 people from my own company did not come for various reasons, leading me to wonder why on earth I bothered in the first place.

Anyway, rant over. I have come home, had a good cry and will just put it down to experience.

I can't keep up with you lot!

A belated happy birthday to mars, can';t believe i missed that!

the kids are back at school, so I'm catching up on all the stuff I couldn't do while they were at home. Akshay is being a little terror. He is getting worse, so destructive, he even broke a table at school. We're getting nowhere with potty training him.

Back on diet and down the gym tomo, I must lose some weight before the summer.

glad to hear H is doing well Trips, hope he is getting his appetite back.

Momma, I will try to post that recipe tomo if I get chance. Now off to cook tonights tea - venison burgers!

ChocolateRockingHorse · 28/04/2008 17:36

HarrogateMum · 28/04/2008 17:36

Perhaps her battery died!

Um.... they're truly in love with their babies and have forgotten us?

She's still waiting for the section?

Oh and Momma...............

TAKE OFF MY SHOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

piximon · 28/04/2008 18:59

he's still the nameless wonder! Am getting really disheartened at not even having drawn up a shortlist. Still have a couple of weeks but getting nowhere fast.

In the words of Travis, "Why does it always rain on me?" Coming back from school today got caught in torrential downpour. The rain was so cold I thought it'd turn to hail. My hands were red raw. Soaked through my coat/shoes etc, luckily the lil one manage to keep dry in the sling. I was so wet I could barely see as couldn't wipe off the water running into my eyes.

Worst thing was getting home to discover DT1 had tucked the rain cover behind her head, from the back of the buggy it looked fine. She looked like a drowned rat so stunned at being showered fully dressed I had to run in and get the camera to take picks of her.

DT2 is still only walking if holding hands/furniture, but has discovered climbing the stairs and onto chairs. DT1 looks at me like I'm mad when I try to get her to walk up/down the stairs.

Triplets, glad to hear positive news about H.

Shabby, I mean mum, how're you doing?

Tigs - are we still on for weds? DD1 wants to make a cake for herself you.

Snorris - DD1 pestering for your DDs to come to play. Know it's probably the last thing you feel up to, but if you fancy a drive over at some point...?

Mars - Are you due another visit down here soon? What d'ya mean you've just been down?

LG&T - Gosh you've had so much on your plate lately. Is there anything we can do to help?

Quick hello to everyone else, about to feed DS3 again. Where is Dorris? No I don't mean Momma's robomop.

Pixi, whats wrong with Travis???

frumpygrumpyhasnofaceon · 28/04/2008 19:17

I met a great guy in Australia many moons ago. He was burly and had guns on his wall Very lovely guy. His name was Blue. Gets my vote.........

largeginandtonic · 28/04/2008 19:23

Call him Rudyard Pix, lovely name. That and Wilbur, Barnaby and Raphael. I am having no more so the names may as well get used

Poor you out in the rain! I wore flip flops in a downpour the other day and was squelching home, nice.

Come on Pazza!!! We need news >

HarrogateMum · 28/04/2008 19:26

FG - did he have red hair? DH's Dad calls DT1 "Bluey" because of his red hair - its their nickname for redheads out there - hence the name of the airline "Virgin Blue"...........red colours........

on 2nd glass of wine and trying to get them to sleep. Going to curl up with lovely Trevor Eve on Waking the DEad.

Pixi - I was going to have a Fraser if DD had been a boy...........

largeginandtonic · 28/04/2008 19:27

Ooooh like Fraser too.
