He is wondering whether to go to work in the mornings next week while I am in hospital, and come visit in the pm's, so that he can stretch his paternity leave out further when we really need it. Seems like a good idea - I might be zonked anyway the first few days and will have hospital staff around to help with DTs.

Or ... might I be feeling lonely and like I really need his support in the first few mornings?

Pazza, Lucian is DT2s middle name. Good luck next week. If your DH is using only the afternoons off as paternity leave get his company to agree to stretch the leave out in writing. My DH was told he could use his paternity leave as two alternate weeks (he alternated with my mum so I had help for a month), but when it came to it they refuse to pay for more than one week.

Can't go with Prince, it's my old dog's name so would feel weird. So far DCs have Greek/Italian/gothy dark elf names. I like Evan but not for a first name.
