Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!

Lots of love Mrs Mel Gibson William Wallace

Nah, gotta go, DH will be feeding DD3 soon and she is easily distracted (still, sigh). Goodnight!

Good morning ladies - it is freezing here! How are you all this morning?

HarrogateMum · 01/04/2008 08:49

alright ta Shabs - lovely day here, I dont work Tuesdays so just wondering what to do with the kidlets this morning, maybe the ducks....?

MarsLady · 01/04/2008 08:57

Well you could pan fry them!

Morning. Another busy one for me today but it's getting ready to calm down for several weeks.

HarrogateMum · 01/04/2008 09:16

oooh yes, with a little bit of garlic and butter, yummmm. Mars, do you ever stop?

frumpygrumpy · 01/04/2008 09:43

Wow. I never cease to amaze myself with my talent for modern appliances. I typed a post then watched it zap itself away into the Google page...... what did I do?

Still feeling flu ridden. It is better but bloody hell I feel weak. Walking around bend over (gotta be careful there) and no appetite whatsoever. Had to force porridge over my throat this morning. Really, 4 spoonfuls, and force to swallow. And ye olde razor blades are in my throat. And DT1 puked up last night!!! This must be week 8 of illness in our house zzzzzzzzz

aw FG, it must be horrible, 8 weeks of it??? DH has just taken DD to the docs as she has had a rash round her middle for a few days. Guess what, I have actually put your books in an envelope today and put your address on. Now it will take me a month to take them to the PO!!

shabster · 01/04/2008 09:48

Morning Frumpster, Im still coughing, weeing and splashing my faliraki flip flops!!

shabster · 01/04/2008 09:48

Morning HM - OK love?

frumpygrumpy · 01/04/2008 09:50

Shabs, can I make you mini papier mache upside down umbrellas to catch the wee before it hits the flip flops? Or tie on a little petit filous pot to catch the drips?

HarrogateMum · 01/04/2008 09:52

fine ta Shabs. Just trying to decide what to do when DH gets back with the car. ITs still Easter holidays here so no way am I taking them anywhere that will be chock full of people (I am somewhat crowd-phobic, if I can avoid places with lots of people, I will!)

frumpygrumpy · 01/04/2008 09:54

HM, easter hols here too. DD1 is off shool for another TWO, yes another TWO weeks!!! Interesting about crowd phobic. I don't turn into a pumpkin or anything but I am not a crowd fan either. Makes me feel like I'm struggling for breath, I don't but I do have to make a space. Shopping centres.....worse places.

Frumpster - either idea sounds wonderful - I warn you, my bladder holds gallons of the stuff!! Something like a baby elephants

frumpygrumpy · 01/04/2008 09:57

right, pelvic floors anyone?

OP posts:
shabster · 01/04/2008 10:00

FG - My DTS's stole my pelvic floor. As they delivered (thru my fluffy) second born, feet first, he had both hands on my pelvic floor. He just threw it down on the delivery room floor and laughed!! OMG I just slipped into the new land at the top of the Magic Faraway tree.

frumpygrumpy · 01/04/2008 10:07

Lets start a knitting club for new pelvic floors. I can't be arsed squeezing and releasing and squeezing and releasing. You can't even see the benefit. "hello, have you got pin sharp pelvic muscles or are you just pleased to see me"

I sqeeze for dear life, well you would after 6 children. I am in constant fear of mine rolling over and dying.

I have been to work and now have to wrestle grumpy Beau and 'i dont want to go to playschool, im scared' boy in to the car. My life has reached new depths of joy.

FG the illness has gone in our house only to be replaced by teething 10month old. He is beside himself. Gah!

Mars hope you get to rest soon, you do far too much.

Momma how is the teething boy your end?

Shabs your greek is fab! Keep it up, by the time you go you will be nattering with the yokels

piximon · 01/04/2008 13:10

I'm still here, baby hanging in there, don't relish an april fool .

Went to the hospital last night as really didn't feel well, aches and pains all over and a terrible headache all day, they sent me home with a couple of pain killers and a bottle to wee in for 24hrs so they can get the lab to do even more analysis, just in case it's pre-ecalmsia (although they think not). They seemed happy for nature to take it's course though so I'm just plodding along.

shabster · 01/04/2008 13:18

Pixie - I had you pushing and shouting all day yesterday!!

Agree with you about the April Fool. LOL.

I remember those happy days of weeing in bottles!! I had pre eclampsia when I was having my twins - what joy!!! Do think that they wouldn't have let you come home from the hospital if they knew, for sure, it was pre eclampsia. Probably taking precautions because you have bad headache.

Take it easy honey - thinking about you
