Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!

Lots of love Mrs Mel Gibson William Wallace

ooh comfort food, crumble is delicious!

that reminds me actually, when we went to the ideal home show, we bought some sausages from this company -

supreme sausages They do a sausage club, where you pay £58 a year for 2 x 10 packs of sausages delivered. I'm going to do it, the sausages are heavenly!

And one for HM - snowdonia cheese. Their amber mist - cheese with wiskey is lovely, and the pickled onion one. In fact I can gobble them all quite easily!

pmsl at pixi having kittens!

Ds1 is at home, felt very bad dragging him out to drop/pick the dts. DT2 is being a little sod though, he managed to smash a table at preschool and tear up loads of pics. The school were very glad to see the back of him.

hullo lgt, get your head out of the toilet now! Make a nice cup of tea.

I'm trying to write a tma.

piximon · 02/04/2008 12:54

Oh. My. God.
Just heard a knock at the door, waiting for midwife so assumed that's who it was as I peeked out of the window stuffing my face with cheese sandwich. It was TIGGER!!!!! and she's gorgeous.

Chops the sausage co sounds a fab gift for my meat mad father who's really hard to buy for so will bookmark for xmas.

shabster · 02/04/2008 14:04

Pixie now you see why Tomster is in luuuuurrrvvveee with the Tiggertantastic!!

Tigs - I got some stuff from you on facebook - ta it was all wonderful.

If you mean e-card, as not on facebook - OMG I am so computer illiterate then....not got it yet chucklebutty. I was blaming it on you anyway

I am better now I took my BP tabs and my stupid pills (Beta blockers) so everything is fine on my planet

TiggerToTheMax · 02/04/2008 14:20

Silence whilst me and Pixi have that age old argument of...no your more gorgeous...no you are ....no you are.

Seriously, I am a little bit of how fab you looked!!! How do you do it whilst pg?!!!! I looked like a big porky bloater

I am too excited to remember names,I can just about breathe, but your little girl is adorable, those pig tails!!!!! DH said she looked exactly like you.

When I do my 'proper' sit down, make myself at home visit (sorry it was so quick, DH had borrowed a car from work to take me to the dentist)I will give you a ring, but like I said my sister is here Friday so we can come and pick the kids up if you let me...I promise I will put coats on them and they can play on the bouncy castle at Tigger Towers

Oh and girls....when Pixi thought I was the midwife I did offer to give it a go

Shabs,check your e-mail you doughnut

snorris · 02/04/2008 14:47

That's it. I'm not coming to Devon again. You're all far too glam for me .
Although if I spend enough time down there a little bit of it might rub off........

shabster · 02/04/2008 14:51

Up pops and e mail with a little red cross in a box!!! Shabster clicks on the little red cross and it says something about not available!!!!

Tiggs - write a note and wrap it round this pigeons ankle and chuck the pigeon into t'air.

Why am I so strange???

My brain hurts.................

shabster · 02/04/2008 14:52

Snorris me owd mucker

Head north my love to sunny Lancashire - we are not glam (except for me, of course)

TiggerToTheMax · 02/04/2008 15:17

Oh pigeon poo Shabs!!!

It was just a 'Hi how are you card' for yesterday, bloody late now anyway!!! LOL

Snorris they only reason I looked half decent was because I had to venture to the dentist, belive you me i am usually stained, windswept and non make-uped

How annoying is this? I hated the dentist I went to today it was like a bloody cattle market so I only let them put a temp filling in.
I have just rung my old private dentist (can't really afford it will have to lend money from mother and pay her back on the weekly)who was fab-a-rooney (although she did fracture my check bone...long story) and she has moved back to South Africa?!!!! WTF?!!! How dare she have a life....I mean really!!!! Is it too much to ask to be at my beck and call?.....and now I have to have my teeth done by a...a...a..I can hardly say it....a MAN!!!!

triplets · 02/04/2008 15:20

Hi all,
Been thinking of you today LG&T, it will have been an awful shock for you, but she will be ok, just so relieved it was not life threatening. But we Mums break our hearts at the slightest thing, when my Matthew was three he broke his arm at pre-school, when he came out of the room with his whole arm plastered and in a sling, big red eyes, it just broke my heart, I only have to close my eyes and I can see him now, that was 26 years ago. Well nervy wise I feel better today, but confess to taking another diazapam, feel as though my whole body is full of niggley little pains. I have made an appt this Frid with our doctor, just need to talk to him about Harry and ask him how I can get myself together to be strong for him and the kids.
Mars...........you of all people did not deserve that, horrible man, not like you to be upset, hope you got some sleep in the end.
I went to bed very late, Dh was up in the loo 3/4 times. then at 6am I was awake, so had a bath. Life!!

triplets · 02/04/2008 15:21

Hi me old mucker

shabster · 02/04/2008 15:38

trips - hiya darling. You ok love?

Tomster will be back from Llandudno for 4.30!!

They had to wear school uniform. Tom wont wear the jumper because 'Mam its a boiling, boiling, sweaty horrible jumper!!' So he has grown out of his old one and now dosn't posses one!

Last week he won the coveted prize of 'School star of the week,' this involves wearing a bright yellow school jumper so everybody knows you are the star of the week!!

So Tomster will have been wandering around Llandudno in a neon yellow jumper muttering 'OMG this is also boiling, boiling and sweaty'

shabster · 02/04/2008 15:39

he will look like the winner of the Tour De France xxx

MarsLady · 02/04/2008 15:52

You're all rather lovely!

Pixi I'm doing my best to get my last lady into labour but she's just not shifting. It's rather terrible!

Tigger: Pixi is rather fabulously gorgeous isn't she? And aren't her babies (all of them) poppets. Her DS1 thinks I'm his personal toy. I just want to eat him!

All this bad news and gloom must mean that we're in for some serious good times ladies. We must be!

shabster · 02/04/2008 15:58

Mars, Mars me first for the good times??? Please?

shabster · 02/04/2008 16:00

Oh go on then, Trips, G&T, Frumpster, OJ, etc........

I'll just sit at the back, come on Tiggs we can gossip and giggle.

I was in the same position when it came to the slim, blonde and tall queue

MarsLady · 02/04/2008 16:01

I wish I had a magic wallpaper scraper will a paint brush do?

Should be o.k

Mars I only saw one of the beautifuls at Pixi's today. The DT's were trying to rest upstairs, but I think my big gob interfered with that, and DS was at school . If I had had time (DH was clock watching) I would have run up the stairs and had a peek.
But I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo looking forward to my next visit if dd is anything to go by....so yummy and a girl after my own heart...we discussed underwear!!! Apparently Fi-Fi Flower Tot is the new black!!!

largeginandtonic · 02/04/2008 16:16

In the mean time... Mars what a horrid individual to shout at you i mean what on earth was he thinking? Are you ok? It is a shock to the system when you dont expect a reaction like that. I am normally quite able to have a go back but if caught unawares i am a bit rubbish and get a bit shaky. Have some of my non existent boobage to nestle in to

Pixi of course the midwife should come and see yu at home! You have a hundred children and are miles form anywhere, that should be standard practice really. I wish i was nearer, would pop my marigolds on and bring a crochet hook, we could have bubba in no time

Thanks Chops, head out of toilet and feel okish. She is banging out a tune on the piano and singing at the top of her voice oblivious to everything (exactly as it should be) i am trying to read up but keep having to walk away. Too much, too much.

MarsLady · 02/04/2008 16:41

good to see you lg&t. He took me by complete surprise. Haven't had one like that before. Will listen more closely to my instincts in future and only work with people I truly adore! Grrrrrrrrrr

Egg...got the pristine book. Will start reading it so that I can be more objectional objective about it.

Egg · 02/04/2008 16:55

Glad you noticed how PRISTINE it was Mars! I do have another used copy that my friend gave me after deciding it was not for her. That copy was a birthday present and already had the used copy. Some of it is ok.

LG&T, saw your most recent post on your thread, glad you are feeling a bit better now. Just think how much worse it could have been. She is still your gorgeous girl and she's not going anywhere .

Egg · 02/04/2008 16:56

Oh, some good news for you (only a small drop in the ocean but...) My DS2 (DT2) slept through from 10pm to 6am last night without a FEED.

MarsLady · 02/04/2008 16:57

That's how tidal waves start... one small drop at a time!
