Was on way home, apologies folks if my news was delayed, saw the stork fly over too !!

O.k. so Pixi is going great guns I have never since anyone having contractions before so I was a bit but Pixi kept it quiet (had to do with her baddy breathing )

So i took a box of matchmakers, O.K. mag and a crossword book ....and do you know what?!!! She was too busy having a baby to offer me a matchmaker!! Huh!! The very cheek!! I'm sure I heard the rustle of the box as i left

I have been making her laugh which probably hasn't jelped with the pain, but I said when it was my turn she could get her own back.
Bloody midwifes won't give her any pain relief, can't find the tens machine,no room in the labour ward, don't have any gas and air where she is,so the poor girl was given a couple codamol?!! WFT?!!!!
Pixi is worried she will have the baby where she is and they won't set up the epi in time,but apparently there is a back log in the labour ward from some c-sections this morning but they are trying as hard as they can.
I left it as late as I could(had to get kids) but she was having losts of contractions when I left and DH was on his way over!!!!

Me? I was sat there like a big red tomato,thinking is it hot in here or just me?

Oh Momma so sorry about your poor cousin . So much terrible news at the mo.

To lighten the mood, DS1 has just had his first "defecation incident". He put his hand in his nappy after a poo (before I knew he had even been) and has then touched various items of furniture around the sitting room. He has been bathed. I can still smell poo. Please tell me this is a solitary incident and they don't continue to do it once realising how much fun it is.

Hi all!

I'm a relative stranger here, so can't keep up with all the news but wanted to give hugs to all those who need them...

Now, I might regret this (as everytime I've boasted about how well something is going with the boys it all goes to pieces within minutes) but here goes...

I posted a little while back (probably 10 d'ya threads at the current rate!) complaining about difficulties with naps...things got so bad I almost considered 'gina-ing' them (as someone irl suggested). Well yesterday I put the boys down awake for three naps and was successful for 2 of them (morning and lunch) and today (after an absolutely horrendous night with DT2 - basically awake from 2.30am until 7.30. Poor, sweet thing tried so hard but couldn't stay asleep for some reason, just lay there whimpering mostly - which then made me cry ) we have had three successful naps - put down awake and all!!! (Well, had to bf dt1 down once)

After last night I feel I need to celebrate a small achievement as I was really starting to doubt myself during the night...

Well done TLP that is fab news!!!
A good sleep is the path to staying sane in my book!!

Shabs i just came on to check about Pixi, I thought it was going to be a matter of an hour tops when I left. Darn that Momma!!! I knew she would get the first cuddle, no wonder she was fine about doing the late shift on her own!!!

I think (from the text I got from Momma) that the baby is born. Can't say more than that.. .but NO I don't know whether the baby is there, what the sex, weight, birth etc or anything is or was like.
