oooggs · 19/03/2008 01:22

found you

MarsLady · 19/03/2008 01:42

Those were lovely snorris!

ooogs shouldn't you be in bed?

Well I'm so so so HAPPY! Twin boys born with.... wait for it....... only gas and air. She refused the epidural. Had hands off midwives and doctors. Twin boys! Amazing birth. Another silent labourer

Just had some soup and a glass of wine to calm my adrenalin so that I can sleep.

Now... where's the Bombay Mix and what on earth happened to the chicken wings? Still, crispy... but nice!

MarsLady · 19/03/2008 01:54

Yes to the virtual birthing centre.

that Momma may be at miniPixi's birth. Actually Momma... if you want some tips on being a birthing partner give me a call.

Right... am off to bed. Can't believe that there was no stripper... even though I'm glad because I would only have been jealous!

It was an amazing privilege to be at the birth of the twins. Absolutely amazing. The hospital staff hadn't seen one like it. Go my lady go!

Been home about an hour and just caught up with this new thread - fantastic work ladies.

Mars - twin boys - OMG - I am so twin little lads - One lucky mummy

My friend really needed me tonight -sorry I wasnt around - I can see you had great fun - very witty girlys I am stone cold sober, and peed off a bit down.

30 years - highs and lows - oh dont start shabster - Im boring myself now.

Trips - forever friends?
Everybody on here - thank you, your smiles and friendship are much appreciated.

Oh Mars - cant stop thinking about twin baby boys - so very, very, very envious

shabster · 19/03/2008 02:02

Mars - well done love - the only time I am silent is when I am in labour

Apart from DS4 - things got a bit hairy near the end and I just chanted very quietly to my ace midwife, Alison. 'Please dont let him die, please dont let him die.' One of those moments where the midwife says to you 'Sharon (sunday name) we have about 3 minutes to deliver Tommy - come on now love lets get this done' and I managed it with help from the sink plunger - think you spell it vantouse!!!

aww lovely pics snorris! dd was watching with me and loved the pic in the bath.

I had one of each births, one silent, and one screaming like a banshee!
Very evious, mars. I have to see a birth one day.

I'm supposed to be studying today, so should not be on mn. We'll see which wins!

Morning girls! OMG for the first time since December 1981 I have had a lie in [trumpets playing a fanfare emoticon]

Mind you didn't get to sleep till about 4am, but 10 am feels like the middle of the night.

How come I left this house as neat as a new pin last night - then we have all been in bed - and now it looks like there has been a burglary and they have trashed the place!!

Tomsters hamster has obviously thrown a party

shabster · 19/03/2008 10:33

snorris - lovley videos - you are right she dosen't look poorly at all my little boy had a similar kind of heart problem and was always a beautiful shade of navy!!! Think she looks like a true fighter

frumpster - oh that lovley paul nutty - he has a wonderful big nose - do like big ones

Trips - you around sweetie - how's today going?

shabster · 19/03/2008 11:41

Quiet on here today!! Mind you I bet you are all doing real life kind of things! DH and DS still snoring in their pits - we had a strange night with DS last night, he was bed hopping - something he has never, ever done.

I gave up about 5.30am and got in his bed - oh the forgotten joys of bunking in with your DC

ChopsTheDuck · 19/03/2008 11:43

ooh I've not bunked in with my older kids for ages. We had to share with the dts on hol for a night, and that was a flipping nightmare. dt2 kept alternating between strokign our faces and kicking us.

I've still not managed to do any work, been to busy catching up on other jobs. Such as buying reigniting candles for the boys' birthday cake on sunday.

shabster · 19/03/2008 11:46

Chopster - you made me jump out of my skin, and there's a lot of wrinkly skin to jump out of

Agree with the kicking or stroking theory - Tomster about 6.30am said out loud 'Ha ha Tigs look at Brandon' - honestly I am not lying, he has the hots for his own Mrs Robinson!!!
