Morning ladies.

Dingdong - just managed to catch up on this thread! Fancy us having the same delivery - wasent it awful fun????? My nether regions have never been the same since

Rubester - thanks for taking Newton and Ridley for a walk for me - they can be hard work at times.

Trips - thinking of you, as always.

To everyone else I bid you a good morning

ChopsTheDuck · 20/03/2008 08:39

good morning shabs!

it's only 8.30 and I'm already fed up with ds1. He's getting the end of term tiredness very early this term. Wish we were doing proper easter holidays rather than split. Not really looking forward to taking him out over the weekend if he is off on one! This morning he has been completely unresponsive, jsut switched off.

I think gm is right about beign relaxed durign a birth helping soo much. I would have loved a doula for ds1 rather than my exh, I know I'd have been a lot more relaxed.

shabster · 20/03/2008 08:52

Morning Chops - our school finished last Friday for two weeks!!! They dont go back until 31st March. Tomster said on the way home from school last Friday 'I'm bored.' OMG thought I!! I have been trying to give him a little freedom cause he goes to High school in September. Tom and his friend walked to the friends house the other day - its not a long way but there are roads to cross and weird older kids about.

I sat at this desk silently praying that he would be ok. I hate this letting go business.

My DS1 and his DP start ante natal classess this week! I keep telling his DP to learn as much as she can from them, try to relax whilst in labour and listen to her midwife (incidentally the same one who delivered Tomster) she keeps asking me how much it hurts - bless her -

ChopsTheDuck · 20/03/2008 09:12

aww, I know what you mean. I let dd walk down to the post box at the end of the road (no roads to cross, apart from the alleyway behind the shops). She doesn't know that I'm secretly peeking from behind the corner watching her!

She doesn't have a lot of road sense, she got hit by a van last year because she ran ahead from me and crossed. I'm dreading when she wants to start walking to school alone!

TiggerTailsTimesThree · 20/03/2008 09:26

Morning all

Eeeek!!! Chops!! How frightening

I let my kids go to meet their nanny at the post box(same side of road one house down)and they know not to go any further until they see her coming, but I still sneak up the garden and peek over the fence just to check they are o.k.
Its such a shame, I was out all day at their age racing up and down the road on my little yellow and black car ,machine gun strapped to my back and a pocket full of toy soliders!!!!!!!

Ruby the Village hall is a blardy state!! Actually everyone is down with sick kids at the moment.....I blame Momma

Shabby Dabby Doooooooooooooo!!!!!

shabster · 20/03/2008 09:38

Morning Tigs - tomster is still chuckling about your pics. Did you read my post the other day about him talking in his sleep?

You, MRS ROBINSON, he was talking about you and Bran

awww momma I want a boboromp! If I had one I bet I would get the rebelboboromp - I would come back from the school run and it would be having a cig and watching Jezzer Kyle.

It would also have a voice and would say 'clean up your own mess you mucky sod!'

Think I need to try and get a real life

shabster · 20/03/2008 09:53

Morning Mars - not busy are you??

MarsLady · 20/03/2008 10:00

I got caught up on Genes Reunited. Trying to trace DH fathers line. I have been down in the valleys over by 'ere and down by there

Have found 7 sons up to now (FIL being one of the youngest of them)

Can you imagine the folded arms, doorstep conversations in Bedwelty, South Wales??

''Have you seen her again, pregnant with another one, bet it will be another boy - all those lads and no daughters to help her around the house' Last little lad not even out of nappies yet

I really loved my FIL - miss him
