evening ladies

HM no wise words for you re. gallstones I'm afraid (but if alcohol is implicated warn me quick!)

I had chat with boss today, he has more or less confirmed I can do 4 days spread over 5 from sept so I can do school run with DTs most of the time and keep my car and my gym membership that I sometimes use and my wine deliveries

shabster · 14/03/2008 19:57

You would love it - the center of Faliraki is very built up and busy with plenty going on. Tomster loves it down there and we always feel very safe when we go into town. We have got to know all the shop and bar owners and they spoil Tom something rotten. Our hotel is a good twenty mins walk from the center so we have the best of both worlds.

Yes I take the mighty Tomster out of school - but this will be the last time cause it is High School in September. He really comes alive when we go on hols - he is kind of the boss of the kids

Thanks for your words - why am I strong? If you mean about loosing my sons - there are only two options and I quite like living The human heart and brain are very strong organs (especially in Mums

are we meant to be having swimming lessons? Will I need to warn the nation shave? Bagsy swimming in wine.

frumpygrumpy · 14/03/2008 20:11

Momma, do you have Olbas oil? It helps a little when you massage it onto the sides of your nose. Smells strong but is nice.

aw Momma - hope you soon feel better.

frumpy - Im shaving nothing - I will just find a couple of large, hairy German women to sit next to

Momma - Ive now got beverley knight on the headphones - shes awfully good

In the playground today, at home time, my friend Jo and me did a full rendition of 'walk away Renee' by the Four Tops. Dancing and high bits and low bits. Not sure really why we did that - but it kept folk amused for a while.

Buster Rhymes is on now - I need a hoddie, cause Im down on the block with my homies - westside' This is more serious than being mutton dressed as lamb

HarrogateMum · 14/03/2008 20:17

Momma - sinusitis is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO painful. I had it about a month or so ago. It hurt so bad, I cried every night and even when I had my antibiotics it only went away on the last day of taking them whilst I was screaming "they dont work!!".

I empathise big time. Have a big spoonful of pie de poisson.

Shabs - just in general love, everything that I read about you on ehre makes me admire your strength and (heres a northern word) grit

frumpygrumpy · 14/03/2008 20:17

Olbas is more gentle on the nose, just dot a tiny bit on. I often use it for dotting on the shoulders of my children's jamas when they have a cold, and round the mattress, and anywhere they might walk and I sometimes think of tying it under their noses just to be sure they don't wake in the night

shabster · 14/03/2008 20:18

Ta HM

iamdingdong · 14/03/2008 20:18

momma I find sudafed - spray and capsules - are fab with sinusitus, get some in the morning, in the meantime some ibuprofen should ease the pain and is anti inflammatory too

shabs, what an eclectic taste in music you have nearly as bad as mine

frumpygrumpy · 14/03/2008 20:19

Shabs, I love that song. I can picture you now.....

They help too. Get one tomorrow from Boots/herbalist shops.
