Night all, sleep tight and long and peaceful xxx.

tripletsandtwins · 13/03/2008 23:25

Back now!

I'm doing ok thanks and the kids are great now; things have been very hectic here, we seem to have had at least 1 child/family member in hospital or ill at any given time but thankfully, things seem to be getting better now! (touch wood of course!) I won't bore you with all the things that have happened in my absence though.

Frumpy, whereabouts in Scotland? I hope you don't mind me asking, but my family is in Aberdeen so I'm trying to get over to Scotland for a weekend sometime in the near future, if you're anywhere near, we might be able to meetup! Glad you liked my shortenings btw

Lots of new faces on here since I was last on, so 'hi' to you all!

I'm not sure what to say now! I've gone all shy!

shabster · 14/03/2008 00:07

Good Evening Ladies - I just got in and I have had a few schooners of sherry. Everybody happy - really, really, hope everyones not retired for the evening.

Frumpster need to have a confidential talk with you - confidential right here, right now!!!!

Sorry ladies, I am a very happy drunk and I lurvvvvvveeee you all

shabster · 14/03/2008 00:10

I dont like chocolate! If you saw me you would say 'there goes a woman who likes her chocolate' but I really dont like it. Give me a big bag of dry roasted nuts anyday, and a CD of Robbie Williams and a large glass of cider and I am yours. Not that you ever wanted me to be yours in the first place.

Oh mighty frumpster - talk to me.

Trips - hope everything is ok with you my lovley.

shabster · 14/03/2008 00:12

tripletsandtwins - I bow down before you!!! Im sorry that I am quite tipsy but I have only heard about you on the multiple mummies. Hope life is good for you xx

shabster · 14/03/2008 00:29

I have spent this evening with the 'dreaded' SIL. I have been polite and kind and as humourous as possible. Now I am at home, sat in my alcove, looking at photo's of my 4 darling boys. Why do I compromise? I wish I could tell her where to get off - but there again I am the better person for rising above it.

Feel so cheesed off with stuff. There is no reason whatsoever for it - just proper cheesed off. I will be just fine. Come the morning I will read all this back and think 'I wish I hadnt rambled on' although reading back my posts they dont sound like I am tooooooo tipsy. Must apologise my new friends - normal service will be resumed as soon as possible. xx

T&T...
Momma
Shabby
FG

Got a postnatal client in labour. Doing well by the sounds of it. Have told them to call at any time if they need to. Got 3 brewing. Need them to give birth on completely separate days. I need to be stronger and say NO! But when they call and talk about their need of my services... I just can't help it. I want to be there for all of them. Getting better at that N word though.

Now... where's that nubile young thing?

shabster · 14/03/2008 07:20

Good morning ladies.

BEWARE

There is an imposter on this thread.

Last night someone came on here pretending to be me - they sounded as though they had had a drink and had become very tired and emotional.

It has been reported to the powers that be.

largeginandtonic · 14/03/2008 08:11

Morning!

Triplets andtwins how lovely to have you back with us, i really hope all your dc are feeling better. It must be so hard when they all want you at the same time. I have no idea how you manage but you sound like you are doing a blimmin fab job. Lots of pics please so we can coo over them all

FG we too have the dreaded D&V, just the 3 year old so far... i am on my knees.

Momma poor you and Nova, illness is taking over Bring on the summer.

Mars must be lovely to be in demand but also blardy knackering. I am rubbish at saying 'no' too. Would love you as my Doula, TYG is soooo lucky. Little A is adorable isnt she

ChopsTheDuck · 14/03/2008 08:20

Oh shabs, that's happened to me lots of times too. Drunken imposters, posting all over the boards in my name!

I think I've been paid back for my mean comments about my delivery boy. We spent four hours last night assembling the wardrobe and the drawers don't open, they hit the doors! The shop has give us the wrong ones. Dp gonna go in and complain today, and we're hoping it won't be another 6 weeks for new drawers. It's very annoyig because we will have to dissassemble half the wardrobe to get them out.

Legoland reopens today I'm hoping to surprise the boys after school, but it is p$ssing it down. Fingers crossed it dries up a bit in time.

I got a letter from dd again today, it says I love you very much and Thankyou for everyhing you done good. I'm going to write her one later.

Soo, what's everyone else up to today?
