BOBOS?!!! You must have all heard the story about mine?

They didn't go big until I was in hospital and then i was too darn short to see in the only private mirror. How cruel is that?!!!

Snorris I will be brave!!!!

iamdingdong · 06/03/2008 18:34

not another new thread I really can't keep up with you lot

had a sh*t day at work, really hate it, looking forward to handing in my notice (in my dreams ) started on the wine at 5pm when I walked in although have only had 1 glass, so far...

frumpygrumpy · 06/03/2008 18:39

Pazza I adore the names. Eva/Ava was almost mine, Isabelle is adorable and also almost mine, Anais is my favourite, but really all of them are adorable. If its any help, we didn't have a name for our DT1 (DD1 and DT2 were just set from the moment I was pg with both) but DT1 just sat in the ether. We had a potential but neither of us liked it very much and it just didn't sit right. The morning after she was born my DP said "well, I guess its **" and I said "yes it is". It just suddenly fitted.

OMG PLEEEEAAAAASE STOP with scan pictures and names and bump pictures. I am almost stealing children with my broody mood. We will be moving into a new house later this year and already I'm planning which room will be for the baby Don't tell anyone. I shouldn't be saying this

frumpygrumpy · 06/03/2008 18:43

Tigs PMSL You are fab. I love your bobos whichever way they come.

Dingdong, shove your car sideways and quit. Life is way too short for messing with crappy day jobs. Chuck it. Go on. I bet you would if you thought that you only had 2 years to live. Our lovely friend died age 29 and he packed his life full of such fantastic memories (for us!). It has never mattered that he died young because we all laugh and laugh at the amazing things he did with his life and he did shake it by the balls. He is/was a twin.

PazzaPlusTwo · 06/03/2008 18:57

mmmMomma - Nova Rose is fabulous.

FG ... so are you on the case already ... or just practising still?

frumpygrumpy · 06/03/2008 20:04

Pazza I have DD1 (newly 7), and DTs (b/g) who are 3.5. I thought I was done and dusted.......but this last year an ache came. It doesn't go away. For me, lots of reasons mean I should go into this decision with much caution. But I keep feeling the ache and it gets stronger and stronger.

I regulary follow the "do you ever think you're done" type threads

iamdingdong · 06/03/2008 20:15

fg you are so right and I will do it I promise... a colleague went with her dh for a brain scan today, ended up gone all afternoon then was seeing consultant - it can't be good news, things like this make me reassess what's important

frumpygrumpy · 06/03/2008 20:16

You make a trip.
You bring wine.
You send your DP to the big smoke.
You pack your children off to bed. (in my room on mattresses no less, because of the painters, zzzzz, kids keep waking around 5.40am!!!)
You light candles.
You tidy.
You look with eager anticipation.
Your time slot is precious.
And do they come...........
Nope.

frumpygrumpy · 06/03/2008 20:17

OH HI DING A DONG

frumpygrumpy · 06/03/2008 20:18

Don't promise me, I'm not meaning to bully. But if you feel crap, you need to make a change. Really when it comes down to it its money versus life. Only you know which one makes the other work.

oooggs · 06/03/2008 20:18

love the names pazza and the bump is great

glad pox has gone LG&T

fg - you really going for it??????

iamdingdong · 06/03/2008 20:19

FG I've jsut read your other posts, you really are broody aren't you? You've mentioned it a fair few times recently too - does mars do home visits that far north (apart from this w/e obv )

HarrogateMum · 06/03/2008 20:21

evening all. I cant keep up either. Am knackered after very long day at work and feeling quite ropey. DH gone ski-ing and not back until v late Sunday night!!!!!

FG sometimes I wonder about another one too, but then I hear myself screaming like a fishwife at the kids when they just refuse to listen to me and I feel like I could fall asleep on the spot from exhaustion and I realise that I cant do it again. Maybe if I had a nanny, I would do it! But work/home balance is already too hard!

I forgot Neenzandhertwinbeans when I did my roll call.....I am the kind of person that will now worry about that.........I think I need some form of counselling

iamdingdong · 06/03/2008 20:22

you're not bullying, I'm not promising you really, its a promise to myself that I will do what I want, not what I think I ought to do

HarrogateMum · 06/03/2008 20:22

not meaning to bring down thread. May retire to bd shortly.

HarrogateMum · 06/03/2008 20:23

that was meant to say BED

iamdingdong · 06/03/2008 20:23

oh HM sorry DH has promised his parents we'll visit on Sat, it will be no fun unless we get to leave DTs there and go off to pub/shops/cinema...

iamdingdong · 06/03/2008 20:26

and HM I feel like that - I have got to a point with DTs where I am reasonably happy, then I think oh I could have another, then I think about how hard it was 4 yrs ago and how nice it is now they're older, and much as I'd love a chance to try it again, 'get it right' maybe, I can't face the upheaval - too old I think

frumpygrumpy · 06/03/2008 20:27

Not going for it but kind of forward planning. If nature would be so kind I would like to have a baby in about 2 years time or so, when the DTs have started school. DP could possibly be persuaded if I was strong (but I have an issue with the strong bit.....) Thing is, I am seriously broody NOW. But I know that is selfish and that it wouldn't work in our family right now.

He actually said it would probably be be fine if Mars would move in for 2 years I don't think she can make it this weekend. The Scotland/England rugby is on and is making travel plans hellish.

HarrogateMum · 06/03/2008 20:29

oh poo for Mars and you. Instead you will have to sort out your plans for the multiples meet up.........PLEASE fg, it will be a BLAST

iamdingdong · 06/03/2008 20:30

oh FG that's a shame about mars this w/e, btu nice to have babies to think about (more DTs?)

frumpygrumpy · 06/03/2008 20:32

On the plus side....there is nothing that sets my blood rushing more than watching the Scotland rugby squad thrashing about Murrayfield with their thighs glistening in the snow sunshine. Even when we do get thumped. Its still passionate and thrilling and sets the cleavage glowing. Tis a sight for tender eyes. DP will be there. I will be taking DTs to a party and tuning in on the box as soon as I possibly can......... sorry......

HarrogateMum · 06/03/2008 20:47

off to bed ladies. Nighty night, wish me luck that DD wont be up in the night (chance would be a fine thing) and that DT2 wont be downstairs at 5.45am (ditto......)
