Are they all still at home? I find these three exhausting, but then Im ancient! Should be sitting here knitting for grandchildren, will be an old Grandma if ever any of these three have kids! Thomas has always said he wont have children ,he says as far as he can see, "they get in your way"!

Its hard to imagine how our lives would be now if Matthew had not died, he will be 29 this year, I have to think that, not say he would be. Some folk think I am strange when I say that, but it is still his birthday. Must go, time to pick up my terrors. Back later.

shabster · 10/03/2008 15:32

Hiya girls. The mighty Tomster is delighted that all you lovley ladies have sent him messages. He likes the older lady - no option with me really has he?

Guess what - he has got a very bad cough thats what our Doctor says!!! No asthma, the rash wasn't measles - but he has decided after consulting all his medical journals that the Tomster has a very bad cough. I wish I had known that

Dr and Tomster then had a riot of a conversation about how funny it was that the doc did my pregnancy test and found out I was having said son - doc recalled how my face was like this and all the receptionists laughed - I am just an object of ridicule

Trips - Hiya honey - how are you doing? You better not be frowning.

shaztwins1 · 10/03/2008 15:41

lmao shabs probably looked just like mine when sonographer said its twins how the devil are u ? hope tomster isnt suffering too much

shabster · 10/03/2008 15:42

He's fine love - fancy him having a bad cough, I hadnt noticed him even coughing - I am such a sarcastic cow person

shaztwins1 · 10/03/2008 15:45

lmao i know 5 yrs at medical school to tell u something u already know at least it wasnt a virus which is the norm here

PazzaPlusTwo · 10/03/2008 15:50

Hi everyone

Triplets - sorry to hear it wasn't better news on Saturday. Mars came over to do an antenatal session with me and we were both thinking of you and your family.

Not much of a storm here in East London, just a bit miserable out. Liked the wind whistling in the chimney overnight though.

Glad it is just a cough Tomster, guzzle the tixylix and be off to bed.

FG i know farckin ridiculous. Course we save our bottles for the home made wine Just made a vat of red, delish it is too. I have about 47 bottles sat on my side in the kitchen, cant lie them down for a week or so yet. Had a friend pop over (to announce her fantastic pregnancy news ) and saw them all sat there

Hey ho.

largeginandtonic · 10/03/2008 16:09

Just read back over the thread, Triplets my lovely you poor thing. It is always worse not knowning what is going on, you need more information and a plan. We are all here with you xxx

PazzaPlusTwo · 10/03/2008 16:15

LG&T - wow, homemade wine, that's hardcore.

I once made a batch of homebrew with a friend in her kitchen and the bottles kept popping open ... so obviously we had to drink them immediately ... wasn't too bad actually. No idea where the kit ended up tho, now I am a proper grown-up with a shed I could start again!

largeginandtonic · 10/03/2008 16:26

Tis fab making your own, we are on to larger next now the wine is all bottled. It only takes 3 weeks for a keg of the bubbly stuff

PazzaPlusTwo · 10/03/2008 16:36

My granma used to make some kinda firewater out of fruit from her garden - plums, berries, figs etc - as well as colossal amounts of jam. It seemed quite easy to do, involved a lot of sugar and a large vat.

We found a bottle at xmas in her cellar labelled 'Plum - 1969' and it was pretty good apparently. I would have had some but was pg already.

My compost is quite good

PazzaPlusTwo · 10/03/2008 16:44

Got to go and hand over much hard-earned cash in return for minor alterations to old banger by blind/dim/lazy mechanic who no doubt will have buggered something else up in the process. Gah. My sofa is so comfy too.

frumpygrumpy · 10/03/2008 17:08

Bum. I just typed my post and lost it. [peeved]

Triplets, you did a wise thing today. Now listen to Dr Frumpy and have a couple of days like that per week. And never work beyond 8/9pm.

Just to say though... there should be no Cod bashing here ladies. She's a lovely woman(her generosity offboard is amazing). The challenge was simply her idea and actually harmless. Its interpretation by some of the challengees (if there were ever such a word) is not down to her.

I'm wet! Blardy weather. I've been out to 2 clients today and am off out again in a minute to another. I want to stay home and make soup! I've got a vat of chicken soup on the go and now I want to do a leek and stilton one. And I want to make some casseroles. Need to pick up some cider for my pork casserole.

So how are you all hanging today? Momma if that virus comes my way I shall hold you personally responsible. I read the thread. I know that you started it!

Have just started reading John Steinbeck's East of Eden. I'm procrastinating. I need to read Dombey and Son for next year's course but the sheer size of it is scaring me!

TripleyTigger · 10/03/2008 18:00

No offence Marslady but Cod did make a very offensive remark today to me about rape, which I did not find amusing, however nice she is in RL.

But there will be no Cod bashing from me

TripleyTigger · 10/03/2008 18:11

Oh and she called me a bitch, for something someone else had said

hey ho though
