slightlymad, did you used to be slightlymadscientist?

frumpygrumpy · 07/03/2008 18:30

Oh FFS, its been 24 hours and we're halfway through a thread. PMSL

TripleyTigger · 07/03/2008 18:31

Momma!!!! I miss so much are you going to be a doula? Really,truly....cos you know i might need you in the next four years...hopefully..fingers crossed...if I can get DH drunk enough to say yes

FG you have to take a sly photo of Mr Tesco's. I've just thought have a look on your local Tescos web site perhaps there's a pick of him holding a mango or something....oh but wait didn't he fondle your mango's earlier?

HarrogateMum · 07/03/2008 18:33

FG, ahem!!! I'll have you know that Harrogate is halfway to London for you so will be very affronted if you dont stop off on the way for champers and nibbles chez HM.

My spare room dont you know, doubles as the study and is where DH keeps his clothes so it normally has wires, suit trousers, ties and paperwork on the spare bed. When people come to stay, I just pile it all on the desk am not known for my sleek clutter free home........

HarrogateMum · 07/03/2008 18:34

Tigs, did I miss somehting??? Are you one of the BROODY LOT!!!!

Oh HM, something just happened...crept up on me. After having my kids I turned sort of Cruella Devilish and didn't want children or animals or anything fluffy ever again And for the last year I have been asking for a hold of peoples babies, smiling strangely at PG womenand spending too much time dressing and getting my daughters babies ready
I think its time....TAT's fault!! I thought it would be too risky to have anymore and she just breezed through it. I have to beat her though. I must be Triplets and Triplets or Triplets and quads!!!!

frumpygrumpy · 07/03/2008 18:40

Em, would you choose multiples or a singleton?

TripleyTigger · 07/03/2008 18:40

And by daughters babies I meant dolls

They are five

TripleyTigger · 07/03/2008 18:43

If I could choose FG it would be singleton.

I love my babies, but I feel i have missed out on a lot too.
I would like to be able to pack up just one for the day, have a relaxed feeding time, lots of cuddles, the odd night where ONE sneaks into my bed

But if it was to be multiple again,I wouldn't mind at all. I think I focus more on the actual getting PG and worry after!!!

HarrogateMum · 07/03/2008 18:46

omg!! Tigs. You scare me. You will need both Talullah Doula and Momma if you have quads!

A woman walking up the drive to the school on Thursday (the nursery where the kids go is in the same grounds) shook her head at me and said "I dont know how you do it". I just grimaced and said "Me neither" (was having a bad day). So if you have more, I bow down to you!

FG - a friend came round recently and I said I needed to declutter, she rolled her eyes and laughed. I then realised that to other people my house is FULL of clutter, whereas I thought it was streamlined-ish!! Ha ha, its a real mess. BAsically I need to move house to a bigger place. I found a lovely one on t'internet that would suit me down to the ground today. tis here

You will note one problem with it. The price.

MarsLady · 07/03/2008 19:10

@slightlymad. You know once you've been here you have to stay!

ChopsTheDuck · 07/03/2008 19:16

fg, just get yourself to the birmingham meetup, then you can meet lots of us!!

HV jsut popping in. They often seem to do that round here, the girl over the road has a baby so she called in here too. Her last appointment was way back you know when, and she cancelled, and she finally got round to catching up. She's going to see about some support for ds1 during the holidays, but I'm not holding my breath.

Hullo, sms, long time no see!

Yikes hm, nice pad! Dya know that price tag would prob buy a shed round here.

SlightlyMadSecretSoundWinner · 07/03/2008 19:27

Mars, I cna try but you do move awfully fast...how on earth do you have the time with so many children between you???

My April 2006 postnatal group has managed 16 posts since Jan...you lot have managed 16 posts in an hour.....

And yes I used to be a Scientist (well I still am in RL, just not on here!!)

MarsLady · 07/03/2008 19:27

Shaztwins ? what?s wrong with Plymouth?

Triplets ? my mum is visiting Deal next week

Fg ? I never realised that you had 3 children

I was --told?advised to have an epi, because if anything went wrong with dt2, they could top me up for a section rather than having a general

Nice house HM

Slightlymad??.. I?m on the April 08 threads

shabster · 07/03/2008 20:18

Good evening ladies and frumpy

Everybody happy?

Hiya slightlymadster - pleased to meet you - I am the only sane person on here - The only teetotaller and the only ladylike, young, slim, blonde one

TripleyTigger · 07/03/2008 20:19
shabster · 07/03/2008 20:19

Hiya oogs - I only, last week, realised that Tigs had triplets ok it wasnt that funny, stop tittering the lot of you. It just proves that 'care in the community' is not working for me.

oooggs · 07/03/2008 20:20

bugger no I am NOT!!!!!!!

I'm on the April 07 threads

shabster · 07/03/2008 20:21

Ta tigs - ok 1 second.

Hiya madster - I am a weirdo - my dad was called Gordon Moron - I am a child of the 50's and a cider drinker. Perfect fodder for the Jeremy Kyle show.
