I had a cat when I met dp. It was soo sweet natured. Apart from it's havit of pooing everywhere. And stealing food. The sodding thing ate a whole sausage once. Once dp turned up it strangely dissapeared. I'm sure he must have sold it to the kebab shop.

Go Momma! Go Momma! Go! Go! Go!

It's such a wonderful thing to do. I do hope once you've gotten the bug you continue on to become a breastfeeding counsellor

Morning all!!!

my pooter is playing up so if this post is sent half finished thats why

I think its paying me back for last night when I had a very angry Basil faulty moment with it which involved birch twigs and a lot of swearing and whacking of said pooter!!
I spent nearly an hour with DH (which is bad enough in itself) trying to decide on which curtains and blinds to buy for the hallway, after going through loads and loads we finally agree, get to the shopping basket,my mouse runs wild so I am banging it to stop(normal way of fixing things in this house) it lands on the red cross at top of the screen and wipes everything off!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Why FG you sweet talker, thank you for commenting on my little bobos

Shabs, hope you are o.k after last night, I was thinking about you and Trips around 7-8pm

Right off to buy dog food for the woofer.x.

shabster · 07/03/2008 09:31

Rubes - the mighty Jezzer is on NOW. Topic is 'we both slept with brothers for revenge but who's the father of my baby' Classic!!

Morning Tigs - the woman who plays Laurel in Emmerdale should win an award of some kind for her amazing performance over the last couple of weeks. She must have talked to some bereaved mums - her words have echoed mine - know it is only a soap - but it has been so accurate.

Right better go and de-ghost tomsters bedroom

Are we all having busy days then? Shall we agree no posting at all I need to move my three children out of my room and back into their own rooms. This will involve dragging 3 mattresses across the hall alone and putting up curtains and blinds again. I don't like this bit. I also need to empty the spare room of every last toy in it. And do laundry. I dream of having a whole empty day with a sparkling house and nothing to do but read, watch daytime telly, have daytime sex, and sleep. Oh yeah and eat without absorbing calories

Go girls, lets get it on!

frumpygrumpy · 07/03/2008 09:55

Shabs, I don't watch any soaps (I'm usually doing homework ). Do you find it almost a comfort to watch it? Like a release of your own emotions? I bet you didn't get much chance to talk about it at the time.

shabster · 07/03/2008 09:57

It was a bit like watching a car crash - you dont want to watch it but you cant help it

Laurel has been 'spot on' with every single sentance and every expression. She had me believing, last night, that it really had happened to her. The film at the end where she was at the grave made me do the snotty cry thats exactly what I have wanted to do twice. Its probably a good job that my 2 DS's grave is about 8 miles away or I think I would have been there most nights.

Right onwards and upwards

The more I tell myself I am fine the more I will be fine.

frumpygrumpy · 07/03/2008 10:00

[eyes full]

shabster · 07/03/2008 10:01

Hiya fg - as the actress was playing the part last night I kept remembering all the emotions she was showing. I was like this and and .

I have 'come to terms' with Gareths death but still struggle with Mattie. My whole extended family fell apart after Mattie and I became a quite insane strange woman

The emotions have kind of dulled around the edges after all these years but they do come crashing into your life every now and then.

The only person I have ever really discussed it all with in great detail is Trips. Thank god for friends

I appreciate you words very much Rubes - glad we have made you cry with it has been a funny week - good bantering

frumpygrumpy · 07/03/2008 10:17

S'pose because Mattie had words and pictures and many years to woo you and be your knight in shining armour. Also, I guess in the back of your mind you knew Gareth might be taken from you but with Mattie, well, the shock must still be unbearable. I feel sure your darling boys are together. Having a right giggle. You'll see them again.

frumpygrumpy · 07/03/2008 10:19

And you know, I do think our loved ones stay with us. I walked home from the school run today and 4 times I tied my trainers - double knots as well. Both shoes kept coming undone. I am positive someone was having a laugh with me.

frumpygrumpy · 07/03/2008 10:23

Bum. This aint getting the mattresses moved is it?

Shabs, wait for me darling. We could work our arses off this morning and I'll meet you for lunch

Triplets, remember what Shabs said about Gordon Ramsays face. I frown regularly but I have just used half a roll of packaging tape on my face to keep it where it should be. Not frowning now, look

Overrun · 07/03/2008 10:26

My god this thread moves fast thanks for kind messages re "womens problems" oh at least 4 pages back. I am now on the mend.

Dt2 was very sick in the night, and had diarrohea as well, so I guess we have that stomach bug that has been going round. Wonder how long it will take for dt1 and ds1 to get it.

Just a quick question: He bumped his head at his nursery yesterday, minor bump as far as i was told, I am assuming its a bug, because it started a good many hours after the accident and the diarrohea as well. Would any one be worrying about head injury and vomiting at this point?

ChopsTheDuck · 07/03/2008 10:31

I wouldn't be worried, no, overun. He doesn't seem disorientated or, pupils not dilating does he? When dt2 jumped out the window I was told that any hidden injuries do usually show up very quickly.

I'm not here, I'm painting, honest...

shabster · 07/03/2008 11:03

I've done all my housework, I've done all my housework - na na na na, na na na na

I have de-mirrored the tomsters bedroom. He reckons there are faces in them in the night - mind you I didnt look just in case.

frumpster - you are right about the big difference in the ages my boys died. They never, ever leave me. I always get either 2 butterflies in unexpected weather - eg sat in the pool area of the hotel last October in Faliraki. Two magnificent butterflies just landed there and stayed for ages
Or sunflowers?? I love sunflowers - they are happy My friend bought me a big bunch and didnt even know how much I like them and how they remind me of DS's.

Overrun · 07/03/2008 11:09

Thanks Chopstheduck, I don't really think that its a problem, but seemed silly not to get another opinion just in case

So lovely and sunny here today, but its going to be miserable all weekend
