hiya love just been in here. Made the fatal mistake of watching emmerdale. Was the babies funeral tonight - yes I know its not real - but the actress who plays the mum got it 'spot on'. I have sat and blubbed like a loon

triplets · 07/03/2008 00:09

An understandable loon............thought you were aving a pint on the end of Wigan pier!

shabster · 07/03/2008 00:11

shabster · 07/03/2008 00:18

shabby wanders around the multiples meeting place. Just think before January I had never been on the internet and never even heard of Mumsnet. Had also never had a granbaby!! BUT - this is our year - that was selfish - our family year. No more sadness, no more crying but a first granbaby - how fantastic.

shabster · 07/03/2008 00:23

frumpy - are you away up to your bed?

This feels like the last night, after everyone has gone, in the Big Brother House

Mars and Momma must be around somewhere.

shabster · 07/03/2008 00:44

Mars you would be thrilled with my DS partner. She is so unsure of herself but as her pregnancy progresses she is gaining strength!! She has decided she is going to have a try at breastfeeding - go Em, go Em, go Em. She has made my firstborn the happiest man in the world. She is a nursery nurse at a local primary school creche. She is in charge of the 2 year olds - a job that I could NOT do. If I could have picked a DD I would have picked her. Sometimes, in life, everything comes together - sounds like the theme music from the A team xxxx

shabster · 07/03/2008 00:57

Night night ladies - see you all here first thing in the morning.

thanks ladies you all make my day xxxxx

frumpygrumpy · 07/03/2008 06:51

Morning! I thought I'd get up first for a change and open up (DP on early flight and I didn't get back to sleep anyway).

Right my lovlies, shake your feathers!

shabster · 07/03/2008 07:14

frumpy - morning me duck - how are you?

shabster · 07/03/2008 07:47

trips - I dont want to see a frown today - ok I will know if you are frowning cause I am a mum and according to Tomster - I know everything and see everything.

Every time you frown and worry - think of Gordon Ramseys face - NOW thats what frowning and fretting does

ChopsTheDuck · 07/03/2008 07:58

Morning girls!

Glad you got the appointment moved trips.

It's peeing it down outside, not nice at all. Last time it rained like this, a car slid into the ditch up the school and I had to tow them out. The boys want SNOW!

What's everyone else up to today? I'm going to be a very naughty mummy. It's dd's class assembley, but I need to finish painting their room instead! New wardrobes coming next week, so I need to get all finished.

Galaxymummy, didn't realise, you are jsut up the road from me!

MarsLady · 07/03/2008 07:59

Morning ladies [yawn]

Shabby...tell your DILster that's she's going to make a success of breastfeeding because you (and therefore she) has us!

Right... must sort out for school!

shabster · 07/03/2008 08:02

Morning chops the duck - I'm in the tomsters bedroom this morning - he reckons he cant sleep cause he is frightened in there! Something to do with the mirror in his room has people in it so I have to make it a mirror free zone.

DS1 is petrified to the extreme about clowns (he's 26 for god sake) and now the mirror thing with tomster.

Bearing in mind - the mighty tomster didn't sleep through the night till he was FIVE YEARS PIGGIN OLD.

HarrogateMum · 07/03/2008 08:11

Morning all - didnt have a bad night after all - DD and the DTs didnt wake up until 6.15am, a lie in!!

Triplets - good luck for tomorrow, hope it all goes well xxx

ChopsTheDuck · 07/03/2008 08:20

lol, tell him to read alice through the lookign glass! I really wanted to climb inside my mirror after reading that.

DP is absolutely petrified of cats, I don't get it at all. Cats, fgs. If there is one outside when he gets home from work, I have to go and chase it away before he comes in.

shabster · 07/03/2008 08:22

have to say I agree with every fibre in my body with your DP!!

I am petrified of cats - OMG they look at you, no, I mean really look at you like they are going to fight with you. I hate cats x
