Hi ooogs!!

frumpygrumpy · 23/02/2008 20:43

double, there is a twin fog that you can fall into......you can feel like you'll never find dry land. But it will come. Remember we are here for you whenever you need us. Sleep tight x.

iamdingdong · 23/02/2008 20:45

fg I resisted the temptation as I heard it wasn't the real sportacus, but sounds good (in my best dingdong voice)

TripleyTigger · 23/02/2008 20:52

Take it easy double and make sure you keep in touch.x.

doublethelovedoublethekisses · 23/02/2008 20:57

Had forgotten just how addictive this mn really is! I've poured myself a drink, dt's are still sleeping soundly (for now) and dp still at work so I've decided the ironing can wait till tomorrow!!

oooggs · 23/02/2008 21:06

how old are they now double????/ my dh is working as well and I am on my 2nd glass

doublethelovedoublethekisses · 23/02/2008 21:10

They're 17 months now and generally they're very good it's just bed time that's the problem. Adam is fine it's just Olivia. Unfortunately I don't cope very well on little sleep! I'm only on my first but have just spilt it all over the keyboard... ooops! Maybe I should stop now!!

oooggs · 23/02/2008 21:14

dtldtk - I don't fair well on lack of sleep either so will be hitting the sack soon.

Come on your suppose to tell me it gets eaier (mine are 10mths) I am knackered, but I think it is ds1 who wears me out.

doublethelovedoublethekisses · 23/02/2008 21:17

Ha ha!! I would love to tell you it gets easier but in truth, some things get easier and some things get harder.... like who to go after first when they both leg it in different directions!!

oooggs · 23/02/2008 21:25

ah yes - it is bad enough when they are crawling, but when they run................
dt2 can stand on his own and will walk between furniture ds1 didn't do anything like that til 16 mths, I'm not ready

doublethelovedoublethekisses · 23/02/2008 21:31

yes I know what you mean. Olivia has always been on the go and was walking at 11 months but Adam was diagnosed with Plagiocephaly (sp?) at about 9 weeks and was always very lazy! We had to encourage everything that he did. I thought I might get a bit of respite but sure enough 7 weeks after Olivia started Adam was on the move!! We couldn't believe it

oooggs · 23/02/2008 21:37

I'm suprised that it is Jack (dt2)that is standing alone and about to step, whereas Erin (dt1) has done everything 1st so far.

So funny though they now talk and laugh at each other and both idolise James (4)

doublethelovedoublethekisses · 23/02/2008 21:40

Oh how I wish mine would laugh!! They do nothing all day but argue and fight! Anyways, think I'm gonna get some rest while I can, speak to you soon

oooggs · 23/02/2008 21:41

me too night x

shabster · 23/02/2008 21:52

Gooooooddddd Evening Ladies - My mates joster and chellster are here and we are having a ladies night!!! We have hidden our three lads upstairs.

Hello Doublekisses - nice to meet you! Whatever this lot say (unless its good) about me is an absolute lie

We are putting the world to rights - not really, we are gossiping and bitching. Mama how is your DP - hope he is ok?

triplets · 23/02/2008 22:30

Oi.............why wasn`t I invited tonight, I could have put my boys upstairs too! What have I been doing tonight? scraping up cat poo off the boys bedroom floor, the runny variety............told them I am having her put down so they are all cross with me, whole house is stinking of poo and dettol and Febreeze, all I could find. Just got rid of the smell of lavender after spending a week in my mothers company!

Where is Derk?

OP posts:
shabster · 23/02/2008 22:39

Trips - hiya love. Derk is in......a very dark place I hope. Come on up and bring the lads - and some cans and some nuts and some of Mamas partner - I thank you.

lmao at lavender - think of her eating those nuts and never, ever offering you one

triplets · 23/02/2008 22:53

i know...bad mummy. Did I tell you we got lost on the boat in the fog? Panic all round, it was like mushy pea soup, thick. Kids started to cry, Dad who has been a sailor all his life hadn`t got a clue where we were, after what seemed like a life time we saw a murky blue light heading towards us, my prayers had been answered, the river authority boat! I brushed my hair, put on some lip gloss(well you never know) and shouted, ahoy there, are we heading for Wroxham Bridge? You are he said(luck) and advised us to follow him back, blue light flashing

triplets · 23/02/2008 23:02

Could this be mutiny at Shabster Towers? Shabster me mate, untie those shackles, ead south, and shelter here, then we can take the boat across the briny to France where I hear the locals are friendly!
