Shabby, last to go to bed and first on here this morning? Were you in church this morning may I ask? Of course I would have been but I had urgent business to attend to, still trying to get the cat c stain off the boys bedroom carpet, anyone got any tips how to remove the stench? Spent a glorious afternoon trying to clean underneath my cooker hood ,its wood and a real pita(work that one out) to clean, again any tips for products that do as they say on greasy cookers much appreciated! I thought Sundays were a day of rest?

yum, Triplets, that sounds delicious!!

My parents and my bro and SIL have just left.....kids have been to the park and now happily wrecking the kitchen with paints and play doh. I am going to have a nice long bath and then just have cheese and biscuits for my tea as I cant be bothered to cook anything (very unusual for me).

Shabs - yes feeling better, but resolving to try and be a bit healthier. When I get my Sainsburys order delivered I usually order 3 tubs of cream because I use so much of it in cooking, make quiches and puddings and use it in sauces and stuff, thats probably quite a lot of cream, plus I love my cheese and I think perhaps I need to get a bit healthier (dont even start me on the booze.....) Perhaps I should join the 10/10 club thingy over on the Health forum.........???

shabster · 24/02/2008 16:51

Hiya trips - not been able to get to the computer cause of pesky kids!!!

Think it was Mama accusing us of gabbing - take no notice trips - we have important stuff to talk about!!

Church - no, couldnt be arsed this morning - we had a double dose of it last Sunday, church service and then piggin sunday school.

Cat sick - no idea - cats terrify me - they look at you as though they are going to fight you - very scary things!!!!

triplets · 24/02/2008 17:27

Not sick Shabster, cat crap!

galaxymummy · 24/02/2008 17:56

galaxymummy · 24/02/2008 18:02

I am cooking roast chicken and cheating with yorkshire pudding

oooggs · 24/02/2008 18:10

Jack has just taken his first steps!!!!!! he is 10 mths old and has taken 5 . James was 16 mths before he did it.

galaxymummy · 24/02/2008 18:15

Congratulations to jack
you must be a proud mama ooggs

oooggs · 24/02/2008 18:19

its nice that he has done it first as so far Erin has beaten to everything, but he could have waited a bit longer

galaxymummy · 24/02/2008 18:23

Life will get interesting then ooggs, is erin jacks twin??

oooggs · 24/02/2008 18:27

yes shes the eldest by 19 minutes and doesn't she let everyone know it

HarrogateMum · 24/02/2008 18:27

wow oooggs, my DD is 15 months and is yet to walk, she really wants to but not quite there. DT1 was 16 months and DT2 15 months when they did it so I guess she will be similar.

Evening to all anyway - despite what I said in an earlier post about getting healthier - DH has just offered me a beer and I accepted

galaxymummy · 24/02/2008 18:29

Hurray harrogate
long live beer(says galaxy on 2nd red)
have you been to bettys(tearoom that is?)

HarrogateMum · 24/02/2008 18:39

Hi galaxy - yes indeed I have been to Bettys but not for some time........its funny that you rarely go to these places when you live there. And the queue is always an hour long at the weekends!

galaxymummy · 24/02/2008 18:41

I know harrogate
I come from brighton but have only been to pavillion once
I still miss the sea though
What sort of birth did you have with jack and erin and have you got any good ideas to introduce dt to older siblings??

TripleyTigger · 24/02/2008 18:45

Its the shhoooeeeesssssss..........

snorris · 24/02/2008 18:48

Evening!
Can't believe we're nearly at the 1000 again .
Had a bit of a lazy day today. Managed to get a lie-in (I can thoroughly recommend an 8-year gap between children ),went out riding this afternoon and came home to lamb shanks, mashed 'tato, carrot & cabbage, all ably cooked by dh. Plus the obligatory glass of wine of course .

galaxymummy · 24/02/2008 18:50

Snorris what is the secrtof getting dh to cook
tigger you must have good balance!!

snorris · 24/02/2008 18:52

Marry the right man .

galaxymummy · 24/02/2008 18:53

Well 15 years later I cannot complain to much as he did open the wine
