We are going to be in sooo much trouble when Mars & Triplets get back

tkband3 · 22/02/2008 22:12

Hi benandsue, you've picked a mad night to join us - it's my hen night . I have stacks to do, and shouldn't really be here, but wanted to see if the girls were having fun without me...my DD1 was 20 months when my DTs were born - I will write a proper post on how we dealt with things next week once I'm an honest married woman. In the meantime, congratulations .

Momma, just wanted to thank you (and your gorgeous DP) for my stripper...my DP has gone off to the pub with a mate for his last drink as a single man and I'm stuck here on my own - but I'm no longer. Had my nails done this morning...they lasted about 10 minutes at home till one was chipped . Still am being pampered in the morning by a close friend who is a professional make-up artist.

I still haven't shaved or ironed my dress - must do the latter now while DP is out and then hide the dress in the back room so he doesn't see it. FG, love the poem...hope you feel better tomorrow, in time for the ceremony - midday at the register office .

Off now, thank you for a lovely evening, next time I post I will be Mrs...... .

Oh and Chops, I'm sorry I have no pearls of wisdom for you, but others have given what sounds like sound and lovely advice (particuarly like the letter idea from FG). Hope things seem better in the morning. Thinking of you.

shabster · 22/02/2008 22:13

snorris - dont worry about Mars and trips I will lie straight to their faces and say we have been well behaved for the entire time they have been away.

Neither of them frighten me!! Well they wont cause Im hiding behind you and Tigger.

Benandsue dont leave us - soon you will be as crazy as the rest of us

tkband3 · 22/02/2008 22:14

oooh I'd missed snorris' DH - now I am definitely . Wish my DH-to-be had a 6 pack like that - but then it wouldn't match my post-twin belly then, would it .

Wow newbies, hen nights and au revoirs all in one evening.

Enjoy your special day tomorrow TKB, it goes so fast, I wish I could have mine again in slow motion.

Haven't had time to read thread fully, just a quick glance, welcome ben&sue? (trying to go from memory). I have a 5, 3, 13mth DTs and a singleton due in 4 weeks. My 3yr old was the baby till the DTs came along (same age then as your DD) and we've had a few problems with her behaviour towards them, but she seems to love them as much as she loathes them so it's not all bad.

Can't type much more am dead on my feet. We got the keys late this afternoon and have so far dropped off 5 car loads of stuff (including DCs and my mum). I have to stay the night at the farm as tomorrow I have to finish the cleaning before handing back the keys (lucky me). Also have about another three trips to get all my stuff from here shifted.

Will try to pop on tomorrow but if not ta-ta for a bit till I can get something sorted at the new place.

Baby still hanging on, but getting increasingly fed up with lifting/carrying/changing dirty nappies. I really need a cleaner and nanny.

triplets · 22/02/2008 23:46

Hello?????????? Is there anybody there?

OP posts:
shabster · 22/02/2008 23:49

Hiya piximon - hows things hanging - not literally!! We have been overgiddy tonight - me especially. Mommafg put a delightful photo of her partner on her profile and I have been wiping at my sweaty moustache ever since. I think we should all get together and write a book - confessions of a multiple mummy maybe?

Were has triplet gone? Bet she is doing stuff like putting kids to bed and washing - come back I need to talk to you.

Pixie - breathe in and out. Leave everything for tonight - tommorow is another day.

shabster · 22/02/2008 23:50

trips I am mis-spelling everything cause I am giddy you are home.

triplets · 22/02/2008 23:51

Ha Ha!
Hi Shabby my lovely one, oh it is sooooooooooo nice that someone misses me! I have missed you, oh the times I would have loved to be on here with my mates, instead of which I have been riveted by watching three darling children brain dead on Nintendos, Dh getting all excited reading his new seed catalogues(not that sort of seed you lot, Thompson and Morgan, ie carrots and spuds) and Mother clicking her false teeth whilst eating nuts, and never offering me any! Yes, its been stimulating company, ha ha!

OP posts:
shabster · 22/02/2008 23:53

Umpah trips - you make me giggle - right out loud and proud. Can you imagine me and thee in Faliraki? Ha ha - we would be a pair of strumpets - well I would - dont need an excuse.

shabster · 22/02/2008 23:55

trips - I just typed tripe mamas bloke made me have a tropical moment. See she is so lovley to look at - she is not phased by hormonal chunky lancashire women!! Emma is getting a big belly with OUR grandbaby!! Tom is coughing till he throws up and I am drunk - so a normal day in our house!!!
