Shabby has got itunes on and is playing our Greek holiday song 'hips dont lie' by shakira.

Thinks

Gonna miss you trips. x

shabster · 16/02/2008 00:41

Kale nita everyone - see you in the morning, bright eyed and bushy tailed.

largeginandtonic · 16/02/2008 06:38

Morning all, we are suffering in the gin household DH is covered in chicken pox and been so poorly and the baby is just going through the worst of it now. I have had no sleep for 3 nights on the trot now. Am a zombie.

Pix how are you? When is your due date?

Estar how old is Levi now? Life is whizzing by too fast and all the babies are getting to big too quick. Please tell me he is only 4 weeks old or something.

Ooogs how are you all now? Is Erin back to normal?

Triplets any news on Harry's results? How is bed time at the triplet household? Send em over we are vicious in this house I would fear for my sanity if they were not all in bed early. We send the dts (age 9) up to bed at 730 and they play for half an hour then we usually enforce reading some pre appointed book untill 830-9. It is Harry Potter and The Philosophers Stone atm. They get a chapter or 2 every night.

Mars good luck my lovely, will be thinking of you xxxx

snorris · 16/02/2008 07:11

Morning! I did indeed zonk out early, what a lightweight!

LG&T-sorry to hear that and hope your dh and baby feel better very soon and you can catch up on your sleep.

Triplets-enjoy your holiday.

Mars-safe travelling.

My lot are already arguing and they've only just got up. I think I might send them all out in the garden later and post food & water through the cat-flap forn them (if they're lucky ).

shabster · 16/02/2008 08:12

Good morning Vietnam!!

largegt - Chickenpox!! (shudder) my DS4 had them about 4 yrs ago at xmas- on the end of his todger, in his ears, he was covered with them. Arent they a delight? Hope better health is just around the corner.

Snorris (lurve the name) - my mam rang about an hour ago - its saturday morning for god sake - and did the ultimate, the wonderful classic - 'GUESS WHO'S DEAD!!!!!!!!!' couldnt tell you who it was I was laughing too much. She got really mad with me and said 'Thats not how you've been brought up, to laugh at other peoples misfortunes'. Oh Dotster is ace.

HarrogateMum · 16/02/2008 09:23

Morning to all - good luck Mars, you will have left already and hope your hols are wonderful Triplets, and of course you will be missed!!

LG&T - poor you with the pox - I dont envy you, the worst time I had was when I HAD to go to the supermarket and took DT2 with the pox, put a hat on him pulled really low but still got a disapproving look at the checkout - I mean, isnt it contagious before they get the spots????

Morning to Snorris and Shabster - love that story about Dotster! It always makes me laugh to see your name as DD is the Madster in this house (not just because she is mad but because she is called Madeleine)

shabster · 16/02/2008 09:26

HM - I found you - on facebook - hurrah!!!!

chopster · 16/02/2008 09:37

my M&S chicken was bloody lvoely though, they are on offer atm, half price - oakham rotisserie style - soo tasty.

shabster · 16/02/2008 09:39

DS and his DP (24 wks and counting!) have ordered their travel system (sure that used to be called a pram!) and it is being delivered here next week. Whoo hoo.

Dotster almost had kittens! 'Its bad luck getting your pram early, they cant do that and (the end of every sentence she says) they arent even married! 'Its a good job your gran is dead, she would turn in her grave if she knew they are 'living over the brush'. (living otb has to be said silently)

I told her I am going to take the tsystem for a test run and walk under ladders with it!!

HarrogateMum · 16/02/2008 09:45

Shabster - I am THIRTY FIVE, dont know if that counts as young or not.

But my liver is about 65.

Morning Chops!

Whats everyone up to today? DH has gone swimming then taking the car in to get new tyres. Sun is shining. Kids are rolling around in a duvet from a bed I JUST MADE!

iamdingdong · 16/02/2008 10:00

aw dingdong, try not to worry, I am sure she will be fine.

Can anyone think of something interesting for me to do with some pork mince this evening please......? I bought it at the organic farm earlier this week and just trying to come up with some ideas for tonights dinner..!

chopster · 16/02/2008 13:37

prok mince has to be meatballs really doesn't it?
we lvoe meatballs.

chopster · 16/02/2008 13:38

I wish I could find organic pork mince. Bet it will be soo much nicer

HarrogateMum · 16/02/2008 13:46

yes I thought of meatballs, although I did do a nice dish earlier in the week with pork mince that was just the mince fried up with onion, garlic, bacon and white wine and parmesan. Had it with tagliatelle with parsley sprinkled over, was YUM.

Could do pork burgers I guess?

chopster · 16/02/2008 13:50

I think pork needs sauce really, burgers with it seem to be a bit boring. Mine you, if you put sme apple in, that would be nice.
