Oh good some positive words about two (or more). I am kind of looking forward to taking the DTs to Tesco as long as I don't have DS as well.

jingleoooggs · 22/12/2007 19:33

well done T&T fantastic news & lovely names

I missed all the action - typical!

MarsyChristmas · 22/12/2007 21:13

Well done T&T! So pleased for you! What wonderful news!

piximon · 22/12/2007 21:46

Mars - if you're still around (which you shouldn't be young lady, you definitely belong in bed) DH says he found a bag in the back of his car and is wondering if it belongs to your DS1, DH didn't want to rummage but thinks it might be trainers.

I felt so great after seeing Mars (see she does wonders!) I cooked two different curries, choice of veggie or prawn. Yum. Also managed to fit in weekly shop this morning, which wasn't as hellish as I'd expected although it appears that some people had left their good spirit and manners at home. Now I've run out of excuses to avoid the housework so will have to clean like mad before lunchtime tomorrow when the first round of xmas visitors descend.

piximon · 22/12/2007 21:55

Triplets, that pic is adorable, can only imagine how wonderful it must have been having three little bundles to snuggle.

Momma, good job my next one is on the way as all these pics are making me feel very broody. Yours are also gorgeous.

We bought a turkey this year for xmas dinner. I've got lax in my veggie ways and been eating fish and DH has recently started eating meat out of the house so I figured we'd give it a go. I'll still be making quorn roast for me. Never cooked a turkey, or any solid mass of meat before. Feel a little squeamish at having to handle it so keep hoping DH will have a Jamie Oliver/Gordon Ramsey moment and deal with it himself.

MarsyChristmas · 22/12/2007 22:44

Yes they belong to DS. It's his footie boots. Stoopid child!!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

HUGE CONGRATS to TAT!!!!!!!!!! Lovely, lovely names. Oh i do love babies

Trips your dts look so sweet in that picture, i love it when you see them all next to each other like that.

I am in Plymouth now, all the children have gone to stay with their dad and his floozy girlfriend. Must not be sad and ruin Xmas. Little Beau is on his own with only boring mommy and Daddy for entertainment, he will miss the dts more than us. They dote on him

Am going to cheer up i promise, they will all be having a fabulous time and that ishat is important.

Been up since 520 with B, he has just crashed, must go to bed.

ChopsterRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 23/12/2007 10:00

Love that pic triplets.

Well we've had our xmas day and it was mostly a success. The dts were behaving like spoilt brats most of the day, and ended up in bed early. They were miffed that we were spending time with the older two.

Xmas dinner was a big success. I'm not normally a Jamie Oliver fan, but we saw a pg on fri with him making xmas dinner and I copied his ideas - it was lovely. Good luck with the turkey pixmon!

Right, now off out to drop dp's car off somewhere safe for the fortnight.

piximon · 23/12/2007 10:19

Chops have a really wonderful xmas holiday.

Momma, I forgot to tell you that DS1 loves Batman, so can't wait to give him your gifts. He only has a batman costume, (no toys) which he uses to run around the house wearing and saving the day. He's gonna be one happy lil' boy.

LG&T - must be too quiet around yours, would you like some of mine to keep you company? I really think it's wonderful that you've been selfless enough to let them go, even though you must be pining for them. My DH is never allowed to see his daughter on xmas day as they are always far too busy to fit him/us in. I keep hoping one year she'll be allowed to spend the day or more with us.

Right I have to get on, people coming at 12 (inc a 9mth old) and lots to do. Oh I now have festive purple hair (only colour I could find lurking at the back of the cupboard) and keep trying to convince DH to give me a hair cut to go with it but no luck so far.

SantasUnderGodzillasBumcheek · 23/12/2007 10:41

Well done T&T, hope everyone else fine, just quickly posting Merry Christmas to All. Things too busy in our house to keep up with MN at the mo!

MarsyChristmas · 23/12/2007 11:38

Need to set a bath! Yawn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [tired ]

FrumpytheGrumpyreindeer · 23/12/2007 13:45

Mars, are you still in the bath? C'mon, I need a wee!

Happy Christmas Kelly!!! Hope you are now lying back enjoying the post-Christmas haze!

Well, I'm trying to "accept the things I cannot change"......

  1. that I will not be able to find white party tights for the DDs having looked everywhere
  2. that no matter how wet the children's christmas presents got I will just have to re-wrap and put out anyway. (we have had some sort of leak just above where all the presents were hiding)
  3. that I'm not going to get to the bottom of my list
  4. that I do have to go into town (YIKES!!) and get that one last present
  5. that my DP is a grumpy bastard atm and he isn't having a period
  6. that my roll of blubber ain't going anywhere before Christmas
  7. that there is no way in hell I will have a chance to shop for something to wear on my top or my feet for Christmas day (we're eating out)
  8. that we are eating out no matter how much I am now regretting that decision as my children (together not individually) can be ocassionally a real credit but more often a noisy, arguing, embarrassment and that I am on edge already!
  9. that I need to care less
10. I could go on and on

There. Purged my soul.

How is everyone today?

FrumpytheGrumpyreindeer · 23/12/2007 13:47

I am not here. I am cleaning the spare room for my baby brother to stay in tomorrow. (the laptop happens to be in here though.......)

Ach, its cheap therapy

MarsyChristmas · 23/12/2007 14:25
