Pixi - the coin in the christmas pudding ! I'd forgotten! Christmas in the shops here also starts at the latest at the beginning of December.

FG, you will be happy to know that a friend of mine told me I could get christmas crackers in the English bookshop, they also had mincepies !

Pazza, where are your family in Switzerland? I'm just outside Zurich.

Dts both have ear infections and are on ABs !

Right, on wiht my christmas cards!

FrumpytheGrumpyreindeer · 21/12/2007 18:49

inamerrymuckingfuddle · 21/12/2007 19:52

fab news congrats to TAT

Well, what a day Sainsburys were most unhelpful and will be getting an written ear bashing from me once I have managed to compose myself, meaning I had to go to supermarket this afternoon, after a sh*te day at work (but 2 wks off now ) which turned out not to be as bad as anticipated but then I had to go and pick up a package from Citylink, only to find they'd given it to someone else with ID, delivery card BUT a different name -they'd accepted a bill as ID, rather than the driving licene/passport that they say they insist on so I was furious and burst into tears but then a neighbour came round with the parcels, having been and picked them up as he'd had a card through too - obviously different address, different reference number, but he was given our stuff - I'm shocked and appalled by this as I thought JOHN LEWIS were pretty reliable

Anyway, DH is out tonight, has bought me wine, fish and chips and sweets so I may get over it eventually drumstick lolly and sauvignon blanc anyone?

TripleyXmasTippleTigger · 21/12/2007 20:13

Guys!!!! I have just spoken To T.A.T's friend and she has such a lovely story to tell, only I don't feel right telling it myself and I'm not sure how private T.A.T is,so I'm going to link everyone up on FB to chat if that is o.k.

Anyone that is not on FB can you let them know the story by e-mail.

TripleyXmasTippleTigger · 21/12/2007 20:18

I am linking us all up!!!!

TripleyXmasTippleTigger · 21/12/2007 20:25

Go Go Go Go Go Go Go Go Go Go Go GO GO Go GO

piximon · 21/12/2007 20:33

T&T congratulations. Great weights and really beautiful names, await more info when you're ready.

I can't believe mine are almost a year old! Where did the time go? I want to turn the clock back. They have finally discovered each other with mixed results, they can sit there throwing bricks laughing together which makes my heart melt or sit there taking turns to smack each other in the face and pull each other over .

HM and Egg thank you so much, postman has been again.

We went shopping today and now have a stack of M&S goodies from you all. DH watched bemused as I walked around M&S debating what luxury items actually were . He said I have to confess that I consider yoghurt a luxury as I so rarely get to eat any, so a 4pk made it in . There's also plenty of mince pies which means at least one box should make it to Xmas day .

Thank you again so much, it really was a completely unexpected and wonderful surprise.

FrostytheSnowNorris · 21/12/2007 20:38

Sorry Tripley,I'm being thick . I've looked at FB but I'm not sure what to do next. (I blame it on the fact dd4 has not been well & lack of sleep )

piximon · 21/12/2007 20:41

Norris, you're not thick, or I am as well as I haven't a clue what she's on about either.

Tripley, deep breaths, calm down and tell us what you want us to do.

inamerrymuckingfuddle · 21/12/2007 20:44

oh phew I can't work it out either

piximon · 21/12/2007 20:57

well we can't all be brain dead can we?

GP made me laugh today. I went to see him about my skin (eczema very bad at the mo), he was telling me how wonderful it is that I am keeping the population going and there should be more women like me. Then wished us all a wonderful Xmas. Made a nice change from the old English guy who shakes his head at me (doesn't deal with kids or pg women unless emergency) or the young English guy (who is so obviously not at the wife and kids stage) .

piximon · 21/12/2007 21:00

Where is Triplets? I bought some choc covered brazil nuts today and saved her some.

TripleyXmasTippleTigger · 21/12/2007 21:00

O.K.

TripleyXmasTippleTigger · 21/12/2007 21:27

I am...ahem.....32......

Two people have said something similar to me today but I can assure you it is just good lighting and a case of me yelling at DH

"GET BACK!!!!! YOU ARE TOO CLOSE!!!!"

inamerrymuckingfuddle · 21/12/2007 21:28

I used to think I looked quite young but since going back to f/t work in sept I think I have aged about 10 yrs

TripleyXmasTippleTigger · 21/12/2007 21:33

Isawthreetripscomesailingby · 21/12/2007 23:27
