and where is Doris indeed, is she the only one from the Missing In Action thread that hasn't reported in? Overrun did, Throck did, Piximon did, I think Doris is the only one......who has her number and will check if she's ok?

oooggs · 21/09/2007 20:19

I didn't find out - dh didn't want to and at the time of pregnancy I was too ill to care

inamuckingfuddle · 21/09/2007 20:25

i did fg and for the same reason

frumpygrumpy · 21/09/2007 20:26

and as much as I always thought I'd never find out and that it would spoil things for me, it didn't spoil a thing, I was just as madly excited

fiplus4 · 21/09/2007 21:10

I didn't ask exactly - just said of it was 2 more boys I was leaving home & the nice lady said she didn't think I needed to get the cases from the loft just yet

oooggs · 21/09/2007 21:25

hi fi - four children go on spill the beans on their ages etc... we are so nosey

Caroline76 · 21/09/2007 22:08

We were only told the flavour of twin one as they couldn't see what twin two was at first. It was really exciting as we already hadtwo boys, then we were told twin one was a boy. Although heathly and happy was obvioulsy our main concern we couldn't help but to keep on wondering if twin two was a girl. Anyway twin two was a girl so now have 3 lovely boys and one girl. Read someone else had written about one twin seeming harder work, well this is our little angel that we longed for. OMG she never stops. I feel sorry for everyone else, DT1 and other DS's as she demands so much time. It is now being slightly softened as DTs have started smiling.

4under5 · 21/09/2007 22:12

You've all got such cool names, trying to come up with a new one. Was Caroline76 before I actually saw anyone elses. Now feel really boring. Babies zapped my imagination and creativity!!!!May change again.

oooggs · 21/09/2007 22:14

how old are dts? 4under5 (I have 3under4)

MarsLady · 21/09/2007 22:20

I step out of the room for ONE minute and there are newbies...........

Hi Caroline/4under5!

Okay..... I'm not here. I'm not procrastinating......oh no. My labouring lady is doing very well and I think will call me about 2am! Oh crap.... need to get cash for the cab!

My essay is coming together painfully slowly.... but coming together. I daren't look at my French!

I want to go out and salsa........... no!!!!!!!!!!! I'll crack up on!

estar · 21/09/2007 22:33

You must keep '4under5' Caroline, its great - it commands respect

And HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA when I think of FG having a whole load of muslims in her loft. Is that actually how you keep your house tidy - traffiking lots of illegal immigrant workers?

4under5 · 21/09/2007 22:34

Ooogs, have DS1 is 4.5, DS2 is 2.5 then DTs 10 weeks old. How about yours?

Would love to come to Salsa too, always fancied that, and think it would help swing off this excess weight.

oooggs · 21/09/2007 22:37

oh estar you have made me laugh

4under5 - I have ds1 3.9 and dts are 5.5 mths

(just put new pics on profile)

4under5 · 21/09/2007 22:40

I have pink and blue too. Just saw cool t'shirts, bad cop /good cop. Bless my little lady as she would get bad cop at mo'

4under5 · 21/09/2007 22:42

oooggs - love your pics, very very cute

fiplus4 · 21/09/2007 22:46

Ooogs - that's 4 pathologically incapable of going to sleep in the evenings. Now got bored of yelling up the stairs & now praying for a lie-in tomorrow. In my dreams! Ds1 9, Ds2 7, DD1 3.5, DD2 3.5. Will post pics when feeling more IT literate.

triplets · 21/09/2007 22:49

Good evening lovely ladies!
Thank you Piximon for asking after me, I am alive and well! Lots on my mind of late, and not lookng forward to my hospital appt next, some of you know, so wont bore you. Only back from my big hols a month ago and have already got itchy feet to be off, cant spend my whole time running away, as much as I would like to! My trio are being soooo naughty atm, esp my daughter, wonder if I am too strict at times, being such an "old" mother"! Boys all carried on until 10.30pm, DH lost his rag, so I have just comforted myself with a packet of cheese and onion crisps, needed chocolate covered nuts but my secret stash was empty What are you all doing for half-term, I an looking for cheap inspiration!

piximon · 21/09/2007 23:41

Triplets my offer of a cuppa still stands, email me at piximon at gmail dot com if I can be of any support.
I finally tracked down my hospital forms (behind the fridge) and pottered over there today to give bloods and booked my scan for Tues. Aghhhh I have to stew all weekend pondering how many, how many.
DCs nursery not closing for half term this year. Bit of a shame really as I could use a break from the nursery run.
Right I'm off to bed. If I don't get back on here over the weekend I'll be back to fill you all in Tues.

triplets · 22/09/2007 00:20

Awwww, thanks Piximon, where abouts are you in London, get some skimmed milk in please! Off to bed, loads of homework to be faced in the morning!

MERLYPUSS · 22/09/2007 09:23

Morning folks. Off to buy comfy clothes to wear onthe coach tomorrow. GOing to Ireland for a week.
I wont find out the flavour of the twinnies. It will be my first and last go at kids (famous last words I hear you all cry) but because of my age and medical history I think we have been very blessed to have an 'instant family' on this occasion. Perhaps we'll get one of each. Oh thinks they are blue flavour whereas he had no leanings towards either before yesterday's scan.
Like Marslady says we are blessed to have twins. (even if everyone laughs manically when I tell them and say 'Oooh twins. That is such hard work.' Like I know any different )

piximon · 22/09/2007 10:22

Triplets I'm in Woolwich, SE18 and I only like skimmed milk! See we have multiple birth and taste in milk in common already lol. Seriously if you have time and fancy a stop off drop me a line. I'll understand if you just want to get there and back home though.

Trying to convince DH to take me for a donut healthy snack and potter around Bluewater today but not having much luck so far.

Hi all
My two managed to get hold of the zinc and castor oil cream today and smear it all over the sofa - I feel they are just working their way up to toilet duck standards
dh was looking after them or not!

I am seriously fed up of nursery - they never seem to have a positive word about the dts. I am always bombarded with stories about climbing/throwing/how hard work they are - is it so hard for them to find somthing positive to say. I would move them but as we should be moving soon and will have to move them then I don't want to have to do it twice.

Triplets - UK or are you after winter sun in October? We had some good holidays as kids in the Yorkshire Dales and North Wales in October.

I found out I was having girls at my 24 week scan - he couldn't see at the 20 week one. I wanted to know to get myself organised. Not that I have managed that yet

Harrogatemum · 22/09/2007 19:07

Hi ladies - I'm back - and too exhausted to catch up on everything until tomorrow. Had a lovely time- great villa, great weather. Unfortunately DD was awake screaming every night with her teeth so we didnt quite get as much relaxation time as planned!

But we are back, partially refreshed and got all day tomorrow before back to the routine on Monday! Hope all well with you all - have I missed any births????

frumpygrumpy · 22/09/2007 20:19

Welcome! Welcome! All newbies!

Don't bother with poncy names, its the chat we like/need

Triplets and Piximon, keep with us, we'll take you any way you come, whenever you come, always welcome xxxx I like semi skimmed but if I can't get shot of my muffin top and my chesty cough it might be soy/goat/rice milk for me

HM, hullo hen!

I#m tipsy. I seemed to have managed ore wine that I thought I had......DP gone for takeway, sensidble move. Now booking flgihts for my dear father....its a long story but he has a big heart. he's been hundreds of miles across teh globe helping others and now needs an easy flight home. Ah, its a life.

Mars, if someone came to visit you, how would you have time to laugh, get drunk, salsa? I can't keep up with you my darling!!!!
