Estar, huge hugs on their way to you. Rest when you can, leave the housework and anything low priority. Feed the children and thats it >

Momma how are your edible twins? Oh i wish i could have a snuggle.

Right... now that I've entertained myself... time to read the thread!

MarsLady · 13/09/2007 18:31

Estar............. slow down and look after yourself honey!

Yeah Momma

inamuckingfuddle · 13/09/2007 18:37

Estar you have to take it easy - we moved when I was 33 weeks, I did all the unpacking adn organising (lets call it nesting ) and I am convinced this led to the DTs arriving at 35 so just you be careful. Tell your SH we'll be round if he isn't nicer to you

inamuckingfuddle · 13/09/2007 18:39

um, tell your DH (what could the S stand for - stupid? sh*tty? super? stunning?)

Truly lovely............ but save it! Don't use it yet! Oh no...... the time is coming and believe me.... you'll know when!

largeginandtonic · 13/09/2007 19:56

Mars is right, save it. I could do with one of those every month At the moment all i want is my hair cut, not much to ask is it? Apparantly it is easier to find rocking horse poo...

I could really eat an entire (or perhaps 3) chocolate bars and we have nothing in save for the 4 kitkats that are in the lunchboxes ready for tomorrow. Now you may ask yourself how wicked a mommy am i?

Will report back later, covered in chocolate or not i wonder....

estar · 13/09/2007 20:13

Fuddle - Super, I think, due to all his hard work, although a few others come to mind too - Sweaty, Sleep-deprived, Sex-starved.....

LargeG&T - they don't actually need both fingers of KitKat each do they? Surely that would be unhealthy for them. I am a super mummy when it comes to not letting my children have too many of sweets and chocolates.....

largeginandtonic · 13/09/2007 20:28

FIL has been round today to do some painting for us - my stash of cashews has severely dwindled as has the yummy green & blacks choc I suppose its a small price to pay for free labour, but doesn't he understand that a girl needs her evening treats?

largeginandtonic · 13/09/2007 20:54

The children are saved...or not depending on your view point, i managed to locate a Cadbury's chocolate roll only partially squished in the goodie drawer

excellent new thingy

inamuckingfuddle · 13/09/2007 21:02

oh well done LG&T, thank god for goody drawers!

frumpygrumpy · 13/09/2007 22:19

I posted my thanks (after estar at 20.13) and told estar to hang in there, that new houses are meant to look upside down and that is a good excuse to live in happy chaos. I sent her love and three kisses. Where is it? It has disappeared????? My post has gone!!!

DP close, can't post what I wanted. Suffice to say I still adore you all

estar, do you even get time to breathe??? I'm, amazed at you, but please, take it a bit easy!

I'm finally getting back into routine, went to gym yest morning and took the boys swimming in the afternoon. It's so lovely and quiet on a weekday I was relaxing with a whole jacuzzi to ourselfs while the boys were climing up the steps and diving into the center. Then I looked round at dt2 who had pulled his pants down, positioned his bum in front of a jet and was gleefully shouting 'Wee, weeee!'

DId anyone see supernanny the other night? I felt very guilty when she said about the house being like fort knox. I've decided to take the gates off from tonight, book me in the asylum wish me luck!

Mommalove, well done, you are doing so well! All the professionals I encountered thought it was impossible to bf twins, so I never got the dts weighed, and jsut got on with it. So don't worry about the HV too much.

Harrogatemum · 14/09/2007 14:35

just checking in to say checking out - going on hols tomorrow....byeeeeeeee!

menageriekeeper · 14/09/2007 14:40

Chopster, take no notice of supernanny! She can't even speak properly. I disagree with some of her stuff anyway, like her telling the child that HE was naughty, rather than what he'd done was naughty. If you've little ones, then leave the gates for your own peace of mind and sanity.

MarsLady · 14/09/2007 15:26

HM....but I'm packed and ready! Wait for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Harrogatemum · 14/09/2007 15:43

Mars - should be flying over you at approx 1pm tomorrow - so will ask the pilot to open the flaps (!) and let down a rope for you!

MK - I totally agree re supernanny - the irony when she talks about the child's "pronounce-iation" instead of prounciation!!

MarsLady · 14/09/2007 15:44

Will be ready and waiting HM!
