How can you make any sense of what you, me, Estar have been through, so many really bad people out there who seem to go untouched by lifes cruel twists. I keep thinking about her and the rest of "Team Scholes" and really do hope and pay that given time they can be free of the worries of illness and death. That she can wake up in the morning, plan her day, a day without hospital visits, a day without trying to be everywhere and everything to everybody.........does that make sense? Just to pack a picnic and take her lovely brood out and laugh and have fun, please God let her be happy. So sad.....

triplets · 09/06/2014 23:01

Jus tried to watch it, shame about the link :(

Chopstheduck · 10/06/2014 06:31

Morning ladies x

I watched some of the service yesterday, there was poor connection to the link which was the same. It was so sad seeing the same people getting up and speaking again about another loss of someone dear to them. Richard's sister does seem lovely, they are an amazing family. I really do hope they find some happiness in the future.

Soks, J has been on DLA for 5 years, it has really helped. Renewal was refused outright this time though :( Now fighting to get it back. It's very tight without it, and everything seems to be going wrong atm! We are losing our mobility car and the cheap runaround we bought to replace it didn't last a week before having to go back in the garage.

triplets · 10/06/2014 08:30

why are you losing the car Chops ?

Chopstheduck · 10/06/2014 13:15

Because the dla was refused, we have to give it back, it's a motability vehicle. We paid £2k down and ds1's DLA covered it. We will get some of the £2k back.

On a more positive note I'm gonna be on the telly 2n ;)

Dom had his eye checked over today and he no longer needs the eye drops, thank God!

K is spending the night at BiL's and A is spending the night with GPs, so tonight it's just the twins' and I, as DH is away on business until Thursday due to someone's complete fuck up, so DH has to fix it.

Dieter has decided that BlueA is a cry baby and needs big brother hugs, weird thing is I put BlueA down on the floor while I went for his weight swaddle, I came back downstairs and Dieter was wrapped around his BlueA, and BlueA was fast asleep! Shock Hmm

Chopster you were fantastic, so nice to "see" you, you are into everything!! How exciting and what a good cause! xx

Chopstheduck · 11/06/2014 06:28

Live tv was terrifying! Camera in my face and then pretending to look at the presenters through another cameraman's head!

Was a fun experience though, bring on the race now! Grin

MultipleMama · 11/06/2014 11:50

I got my dad to record it, Chops! He'll be sending me it! Grin I bet you did brilliantly.

K & A are staying at their respected sleepover places until 4pm, so I am enjoying twin time, and already BlueA seems more unsettled by the changes in noise level which is weird since he really hates loud noises that startle him. However, I've took us all out for the day to release some energy!

Words I honestly didn't expect to hear from my husband (when talking about our weekend plans for the next few weeks) "can you ask your mum to have the twins as I'm babysitting all the kids this Saturday as you're out, and the Sunday when you take Emily out..."

What the actual fuck? I'm sitting next to him, seething having told him it's not babysitting his own children. And his response is he's not getting any time off on his weekends off.

I honestly didn't think he resented me being at home all day as much as he clearly does. How on earth do I sort this out now. Since I clearly am a lady of leisure...

triplets · 11/06/2014 22:35

Hmm that's awful Soks, what is it with men? Mines been the same, absolutely be grudges it if he has to be around for the kids. Lets face it we do it 80% of the time! Your answer was? :o

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 11/06/2014 22:47

I couldn't speak tbh. I didn't trust myself not to start an almighty row with 'and when do I get my time off?'

The 'time off' I have on Saturday is to do a first aid course. I'll be leaving home at 8:30 and should be home by 5.

Sunday is a couple of hours in the afternoon for archery with my rainbows - and our eldest. And it's timed for when the twins nap anyway...

This came about after I mentioned Emily had been invited to a brownie event and I thought it might be because they wanted me to attend for adult leader numbers. I haven't even confirmed we're going as I wanted to check what was happening at home first. Heaven forbid I make plans several weekends in a row (went out to friends last sat night. )

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 11/06/2014 22:49

I'm aware this make it sound like I am always out. I'm not. And I'm fully supportive of dh's hobby which has regular nights out throughout the month. Inc on weekday nights. Because I know he enjoys it.

Chopstheduck · 12/06/2014 06:34

Babysitting! Angry He needs a good talking to.

I've always maintained that dh gets to do what he wants to do all week. It was the career he wanted, he gets to walk out of the door and spend time with other adults that don't whine, or dribble, or need feeding and cleaning up after constantly. I was incredibly jealous of him when the dts were small.

I don't ask, I tell him I'm doing stuff in the nicest possible way! Grin I am very lucky though, he is brilliant at letting me have my own time. I do hope you get this sorted with yours soon, soks.

triplets · 12/06/2014 09:18

Morning all..............a bit of upcycling today, an old book case. Kids in and out with exams, like Piccadilly Circus!
:o @ Chopster!

MultipleMama · 12/06/2014 14:35

Soks, I'd give him a slap round the chops. It's not baby sitting, it's spending quality time with them! Angry As for you going out, you're allowed to go out and enjoy yourself too! xx

I'm going to see Phantom of the Opera next week in Hamburg!!! DH's boss has gave him 2 box tickets, as a bonus for the mess he fixed and improved last week. So excited!! It'll be really cool to see it German instead of English. I'm a massive Phantom fan Grin... no idea what we're going to do with the A-twins though...

Mama I am very Envy We all love The Phantom. In 2007 we saw it at The Venetian in Las Vegas, amazing! xx

MultipleMama · 13/06/2014 11:37

I've seen it twice in London so it'll exciting to see it in DH's native tongue. :)
