Morning girls xx

Looks like deepest, darkest Winter outside - its cold and already started raining!!

MultipleMama · 07/06/2014 09:02

Morning, ladies!

I may be getting a little brother soon, a little 3yo!! Dad has been matched. He's had 2 more interviews and is waiting for the next step! :)

Good luck to your dad mama
Trips- horrendous thunderstorms here this morning, including bouts of giant hail stones!
The sun finally appeared at about 5pm, so we grabbed the opportunity to clean and polish the pontiac ready for a big car show tomorrow.

MultipleMama · 08/06/2014 00:10

Thanks, Bubs. Introductions start next, leading up to day & overnight visits and he was told it'll be roughly 4-6 weeks when he'll be placed with dad. Dad wants Ivan and I to come over for introductions when the SWs allow it.

Put an offer on a house today! Excited!

Soks, have you got a key for windows to lock them shut?

Halo has not left DH's arms all day. He'd happily except me when he wants the boob but otherwise he wants DH. Tried to use the boba & stroller but he screamed bloody murder. I hated all the stares we got (well them staring at a crying/sleeping Halo and his o2 tank...)

Hope tomorrow is a better day... if Halo ever falls asleep so I can try to remove him from DH's sleepibg chest!

Did nobody miss me? Havent been anywhere, havent done anything exciting, just abit fed up. Kids are driving me insane, they are soooooo lazy. Spend half the day in bed the other half shut in their rooms on machines. What is wrong with them?? As from next week they are home, just go a couple more exams and that's it...............eating me out of house and home.............dd is sooooo rude to me and don't get me started on dk, yes dk tonight! We stayed up late to watch the football, I had just got into bed when I hear him screaming at the cat who was sicking all over the kitchen floor!! Rushed down stairs, hes flying around trying to catch the cat, I get left to clear up 4 lots of yuk. Cat gets locked out and he goes off to the downstairs loo, so I washed my hands in the kitchen. He comes back and tells me off for washing them in the sink, should only use the downstairs loo................grrrrrrr so bloody pernickety! On top of that we have 100s of tiny ants coming into the kitchen, driving me nuts and making me itch! Shabs did Lew have a nice b/day? Night all xx

triplets · 08/06/2014 01:25

Is your Dad fostering Mama?

MultipleMama · 08/06/2014 07:49

Sounds like a nightmare, Trips! I've had to clean up dog puke once in awhile when the silly thing ate something he couldn't digest! The ants thing is making me itch just thinking about it! Have you tried putting a line of salt along the bottom of doors (mainly back door) to see if they're coming in or coming from inside.

My mum would just randomly unplug the internet on me (so I would usually mid chatting or on a website) and tell me if I wanted it back on, I do this and spend at least 2 hours with her & dad or outside. She once banned me for a few days cause I swore at her, so she hid the hub cord so I couldn't sneak and put it back on! Grin

Dad is adopting, Trips :)

He got a bike from his Mum & Dad!!

triplets · 08/06/2014 12:00

Silly me, I knew it was the 8th Shabs its because it was already the 8th when I got to bed! Scorching here today, going to catch up with stuff in the garden, some painting to do. Might have a walk to the beach later as there is a kite flying competition on!

"HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY TO LEW" Cake Smile xx

triplets · 08/06/2014 12:02

Oh and finally turned my light off at 2am only to be awake for the next 20 mins trying to catch a very large moth that kept dive bombing me!!

MultipleMama · 08/06/2014 13:26

Happy birthday Lew! :)

Oh, Trips! I can just see you now battling a moth! Grin

Weather in 20's today lovely and sunny but it's made BlueA very cranky and miserable. So he's just in a gdiaper, vest and a hat which he had made quite clear he despites it. Went on a lovely bike ride this morning now I'm just waiting on DH to put the kids in the stroller so I can strap a sleeping BlueA to his chest and Dee to his back!

Because while he walks, I am allowing K to ride his quad bike while me & A ride next to him on my quad! Should be fun! Grin.

Oh Mama I`d love to see a picture of that, sounds a real challenge!!
Spent all day in the garden now need a shower before I start dinner!

triplets · 08/06/2014 17:17

For those of you who haven`t seen it I have just uploaded a photo of my shed............MY shed!

MultipleMama · 08/06/2014 17:50

It was a... fun experience. I think the trees ended up with more damage than he did! Ah, would have loved to show you a picture but I didn't see your post til just now. I'll take one next providing he stops falling off! Grin He's full of bruises much to MiL dismay but he just pats her arm and says, "just bump, Oma. No worries, vava say I have elefoot (elephant) skin!" Poor bugger kept gawping like a fish haha.

It took 15 minutes to settle BlueA tonight! World's greatest achievement! Usually takes 45-60 minutes but I bathed and fed him, then DH put on his vibepad and rocked his hammock and he was a out. Not sure if it was the sunny weather or the continous screaming fits that wore him out... Hmm

Happy Birthday Lew Grin Grin
Trips - love the shedGrin I know exactly where you are coming from about the kids. Yesterday my 2 didn't even get properly dressed, the whole day was spent on the dreaded X box apart an hour that, in desperation, I removed their hard drives. All i wanted them do was tidy their rooms a bit (so you could at least see the floor!) and clean out their fish tanks, as their poor goldfish were swimming in murkConfused
At least today we have been out. We went to a car show which was beside the sea, so took the dogs along as well, and the boys, dogs and I spent 1/2 the day beachcombing, whilst dh enjoyed the cars. It has hit 22C here, thank God for the sea breeze which made it comfortable.

MultipleMama · 08/06/2014 18:28

Highest today was 28 I think. #hot!!

Glad you managed to get them out of the house bubs! Grin

Love the shed trips

Lovely sounding ride mama. I don't know how you do it. Mine have had me tearing my hair out all of today. James broke the washing line. Technically not entirely his fault as I've found the spike rusted through. But had he not been pulling on it and pulled it over, it wouldn't have snapped when I tried to straighten it up again. Thankfully I have an airer so managed to get two loads dry between that and Joshua's cot side balanced across two chairs. We use it as a wide stair gate for the patio doors now we've taken it off his bed.

He's scribbled on walls, doors and the bed. He's wrecked the sofa cushions (again). Knocked my runner bean canes down again.

Emily has been throwing things in the street - two boys I don't know and one I do were throwing things at cars and I'd already told them and Emily not to throw things. So brought her in to play in the garden. Whereupon she starts spitting. She's never done that before!

Meanwhile there's been a whole new level of getting everything out from all of them. As soon as they'd made a mess in one place, and I was clearing up, they were off making a mess in another. And dh had the bloody nerve to ask 'what went wrong' when he came back from work, sat on his arse playing with his iPad. And then the idiot decided mid bedtime routine was the ideal time to start ironing. Now I know we've loads to iron. But would waiting half an hour really have killed him? So I made him take Emily up while I cooked our tea.

I'm now hiding upstairs putting our bedroom back to rights and he's back on the ironing.

Love your shed!!

Missing my mum, tonight. Dad sent me an email with some old photos he found of mum and I when I was younger. She looked so happy & healthy, so full of life. I keep thinking back to the day she died; I remember Ivan's blank face, my dad's bloodshot eyes, I remember DH holding me as I stared blankly at a wall calling them liars becuase I had only talked to her that night and she was laughing, she looked fine. I can barely remember her laugh, her smile, her smell, the only thing I have is fading memories, an old scarf, her wedding ring, an old dvd she made with a message to K on it and a letter she wrote for me, she wrote Ivan one - he's yet to read it, I have it in my safety deposit box. I miss her so bloody much. My dad didn't deserve to become a widow so young. Maybe Ivan hadn't had left me and dad if she'd lived. So unfair! :( and now I'm crying. Bloody wonderful.

sounds as though you need it...........why is there so much sadness an stress about. Has it always been like this for each generation? It wears you down, day, months, years pass by so quickly......days that should be carefree and happy. Scary really..........

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 09/06/2014 08:05

My sadness and stress comes as a direct result of our living conditions. I know we are lucky. We have our own house. It just isn't bloody big enough. There's no sanctuary! I'm working in the bedrooms this week.

Dh redeemed himself slightly. He woke me at half 6 this morning. I would have slept on otherwise. We are also going to choose paint for the bedrooms this week. We have a paint resale place near us so cheap paint. Won't take long to do really. Just have to take the bed board off the wall (dh put it up with no more nails lol) and a shelf down. Might not get them decorated this week but doing the prep work is making me feel better. I'm also going to the council this week to get on their housing list. We are on a couple but because we own our property, obviously we aren't anywhere near a slight chance of getting one. But the children's centre, our gp and our Hv are writing to say it would be in James' best interests to have his own room. We are also applying for dla too as they think we are in with a good chance of getting it, and it will place us a bit higher on the housing lists too. Kind of feels a bit like we are trying to play the system. But everyone keeps reassuring me that we are doing these things for the right reasons.

triplets · 09/06/2014 08:56

Soks you are not playing the system, your needs are genuine, so dont upset yourself about that. You need not to worry about what others might think or say, your priority is your family, what long term is best for you all. xx Well another sleepless night, I really give up trying to get a decent night. Our lovely Lithuanian family and their "friends" partyed in the garden until 11.30pm, my boys couldnt sleep and they have maths gcse at 9am today! They stop then a racket in the road, three kids, 12-15yr old larking about. Finally get to sleep, only to be woken up by Rebecca coming into my room with Molly our cat, she had scaled the trellis, climbed up onto the roof and into Beccas window! Took her downstairs and shut her in the kitchen, 5 mins later she does the same thing again! Back downstairs and this time I locked the cat flap so she couldnt get out .Then, clatter clatter clatter, she is knocking hell out of the flap to get out, back downstairs and threw her out and locked her out. Then we all had to have our windows shut on a hot sticky night so she couldnt get back in! Fun isn`t it?

So a letter came through Halo's OHS is scheduled for 19th August at 7.45am but it's at the University hospital 50 minutes away, on their new pediatric cardiac surgery & ICU ward.

Seen the pictures and site. Looks quite spiffy!

Trips - I managed to watch some of Richards service on youtube. The link is not working very well (for me anyway??) I was doing OK watching and listening UNTIL his lovely sister stood up to speak about him. So very touching - have ended up a snotty crying mess with poor Tom having to listen to me rambling on and on.

I don't understand this life, I never have and I doubt I ever will.
