Oh Rhodes, Greece will do fine for me love LOL. So wide awake it is ridiculous - getting on my own nerves to be honest!!!

MultipleMama · 17/05/2014 02:25

Rhodes sounds perfect! Grin

I just keep tossing and turning. So I'm laid under the duvet with my phone close to my face browsing ebay...

Artie woke me up with her crying only to find myself spooning my BiL. Awkward. Luckily he sleeps like a log!

Gunna give Artie a feed and then hopefully passout for a good few hours.

Morning all and hope two certain people on here and now in the land of nod!! Me, wide awake early as usual..........cannot seem to sleep past 6am no matter what time I go to sleep! Hope we get the nice weather they are forecasting........off to the market this morning, never buy anything though!

shabbs · 17/05/2014 08:24

Morning girls - I have been awake since half 6 Trips.....my face is so wrinkly and dark circles under my eyes - look like I have got a Halloween mask on Hmm

MultipleMama · 17/05/2014 15:10

Afternoon ladies. I slept until 6.45 when my BiL decided to jump on me with Artie... not how I wanted to wake up especially that early but her laughter at her Uncle's antics made it hard for me to be angry. Grin

Called the hospital and Apollo is doing well; sleeping & eating and he still hates the PT lady.

We're having a BBQ at BiL's so Artie and I are sat watching him try and light the BBQ without setting himself on fire! Family will be round soon, DH and Dad are already in the paddling pool with the 6 DC.

Hope you're having a beautiful day ladies xx

Had a beautiful 4th birthday afternoon. This morning was a little more tantrumy from the birthday boy, but an afternoon bike ride soon sorted that. Wore them all out, twins in the bike trailer on dh's bike, Emily minus stabilisers and James on his balance bike. Brilliant afternoon Grin.

MultipleMama · 17/05/2014 23:20

Glad you had a brilliant day, Soks!

And Happy "hours late" birthday to the birthday boy! x

Wasted most of my "day off" yesterday dozing (not really a day off having worked the first 8hrs of it on night shift!)
On my way home, I went shopping for clothes for mum, as she has lost so much weight, and some fresh fruit and yogurt for her, as this seems yo be the only thing she eill reliably eat. I then visited her, and, for the first time, she wouldn't let me touch her, kiss her or anything, she just shook her head, pushed me away, and said "no!"Sad Sad she just glared at me, but was happy to smile at the activities lady. I work with dementia patients all the time, and I know its the disease, but it really upset me that my own mum rejected me so completely.
Today, I had to be at our local Agricultural Show for 8.30am, as we helped the boys club set out their tent, and I stayed until 12.30, when I left for work. got home at 9.30. I'm knackered now.

MultipleMama · 18/05/2014 00:49

At the hospital. A nurse accidently woke Apollo up and Apollo is extremely hard to settle once he gets started, doesn't help that holding him wrong makes him worse. When they called he was in the middle of a screaming fit. After an hour I finally settled him and currently have him asleep on my lap and Artie in his crib. I need sleep!

Morning, woken up this morning at 5.30am, magpies making a racket. Looked out of the window and there was a fox in my garden and two magpies right next to it having a real go at it! Another early start, James is off to represent the cadets at a sports gala!
Mama how do you keep going, you seem so in charge all the time, I am sure I`d be a wreck by now.

MultipleMama · 18/05/2014 15:32

Honestly, I'm too exhausted to fall apart. Even since the A-team were born it's been non-stop. In away I became a part-time mother because I'm having to pawn them constantly and I hate it. I feel so shit for it. DH skyped with me last night and we did some major thinking and we came to the desicion to hold of TTC #7 for at least another year which was such a hard choice to make :(

On some good news and less depressing. We are currently enjoying the weather at the park with all 6DC! Apollo was discharged a day early
He's sleeping in the boba but so glad to have him home :)

Yay for Apollo being home and having such wonderful weather. Hope he's well and enjoying himself, and that you get some rest. I don't blame you for holding off ttc. I think had the twins been just one and James not been the way he is, I would probably still feel broody as heck.

It's tough on a family having one child whose demands can equal or exceed those of all of the others.

Having another lovely day here too. James is happily playing with all his new trains and has now decided he can share playing with Joshua. So lovely play going on at the moment while I take advantage and put ironing away (plus mn)

triplets · 18/05/2014 17:33

Lovely news Mama :)

MultipleMama · 18/05/2014 20:43

I never expected it to be this hard, Artie is such a doddle compared to him, she is miles ahead of him, that people find it hard to believe they're twins. I feel so bad for comparing them, but it's hard not to especially since Artie is now able to pull herself up!! He's just passed the 11lbs mark and she's a couple oz of 18lbs!

Just uploaded a picture of Apollo on first day home from his 2nd stint in hospital, he looks so adorable, I couldn't help myself :)

We had a great day, and all of them are now sleeping! Glad you had a lovely day and that James enjoyed himself! It's so lovely to see siblings share :) xx

D'ya ever wonder - whether it's you that's losing the plot or everyone else?

...am I just missing the point of this thread??

MiniSoksMakeHardWork · 19/05/2014 09:23

We've all lost the plot here greenish, a long time ago!

Off to the CDC for our mdt meeting about James today. Still don't know if he needs to come or not. Hoping someone rings back before I leave at lunch time.

MultipleMama · 19/05/2014 09:37

No point to this thread, just couldn't think of a witty phrase for our new thread. We filled our last one! :)

Don't need to take James. Phew!

Saddened to learn no one from school or preschool can attend, though given that they don't see what we do I'm sure that's not a bad thing. HV can't attend either, but their team nursery nurse is and she has seen James during some of his worst moments so some support hopefully from that side of things.

Dh can't make it which is the biggest groan. They've just not got the staff to relieve him, even for a couple of hours, due to annual leave and sick leave. I've huge butterflies now that we're going to be screwed over and left hanging with nothing.

MultipleMama · 19/05/2014 11:06

Apollo slept 4 hours straight last night and Artie slept for 7 hours! Shock

Sok I hope it all works out for you! And just a balls ache that your DH can't come with you. Fingers crossed! Xx

Today, dad and I are taking the kids to our neighbours bee farm to show them all about bees & honey :)
