Oh Lordy! Had a knock on the front door this morning. I thought it was the postie. One very cross mum! Why had I hurt and assaulted her son and so on! threats that if I laid a hand on her son again she'd phone the police and social services on me. That I'd not like it if anyone did that to my children... I need to speak to her or her mother (next door but some neighbour) in future. Which I will do if I have to. And hope that I don't.

I did also remember this morning afterwards that she was one of the preschool workers I complained about for chatting and ignoring James being beaten up. Oh well.

Minisoksmakehardwork · 30/08/2014 03:53

Awake. Bored and have put a sneaky monkey back to bed after waking to snuggly cuddles.

MultipleMama · 30/08/2014 10:18

Off to the zoo! We debated whether to go or not due to Apollo but decided we all deserve a treat for these hectic few weeks and since we'll be officially moving into our new home on Monday, we though it would be a nice stress free day. The kids (even Apollo Shock - thank you pain meds!) expect Aubrey are currently passed out in their car seats. DH and I are having a 90's sing off in the car. I'm currently winning with Chesney Hawkes's 1991 hit Grin! We're such a sad couple haha.

Mama- Glad A is ok, enjoy your day at the zoo, and good luck with the move. I expect that in a few weeks, when everything has calmed fown, all your kids will be more settled at school and home.
Chops- Glad you got something from the government, we are applying for dla at the moment, now J has a diagnosis, and hope you got on your bike ride.
Soks- She has a bloody cheek if you ask me, you should ask her for compensation for your ruined plants!! I hope J is ok on starting school.
Trips- as I was always told, they can take the GCSEs again if they want, and, considering the upheaval they have had during the last couple of years, its not really surprising that they were a little lower than they hoped.
Shabbs- I hope Chelle survives her "do", and I bet its quiet without Lew aroundGrin

I am now almost ready for start of school on Thursday, school shoes bought, trainers, new gym bags and back packs ordered and due here Tuesday, (sports direct have fab offers atm, I only wanted dome cheap trainers for PE, and got them for £8 a pair!) stationary, folders etc bought, I just need to get a couple of ne scientific calculators, as i have now been informed that they both busted theirs duting the last week of term.
I finally got the boys to try on their uniform the other day, and it all still fits, as I had to replace some at last half term.
The boys are getting worried as the have to start thinking about what options they are going to take for their GCSEs, and , of course, they are going to see what will be involved with these new baccalaureate courses that thry are guinea pigs forSad

J and DH have gone out together today for a "bonding session", I just hope it doesn't end in tearsConfused , and M and I are at home, about to take the dogs for a walk.

Morning ladies. Had a really lovely day yesterday and encountered the cutest 7yo, he noticed Apollo's oxy tank and asked what it was, I told him it was for my baby who had poorly lungs and heart. He asked if baby will be okay and be able to play trucks when he's a big boy. I told him he just had an operation to fix his heart so yes. Little boy ran and told his mum that the little baby could play trucks when cause his heart was "fixeded". My heart melted. Totally made up for the stares we were getting when I had bring out Apollo's meds and nebulizer. The kids all had fun and K got to hold a spider - he wants one now Hmm

It's a school day, and we're moving and I'm (as of an hour ago) 20 weeks pregnant! Today is going to be hectic, usually if I'm awake at this time it's due to Apollo but tonight it's due to Artie who thinks she's too cool to sleep Hmm. Gotta be up in 5 hours to get the kids ready for school and the movers at 10am, still so much packing to do...

night ladies! x

Good morning girls, beautiful sunny start, long may it last :) Good luck Mama today, I hope you have some help? Its going to be strange for the children moving to a new home, but you all seem a very adaptable family! So anyone else dcs back at school today? Mine go on Thurs, but we have an appt with the head of 6th form at 9am today to discuss their dire gcse results and what options now we should be thinking of..........xs three!!! I havent felt well the last couple of days, in fact I scared myself I had had a TIA, weird head on Sat night, cant really explain it, but I just felt a soreness then a sort of detached feeling, nothing else........having said that I have been sleeping badly, no more than 3/4 good hours a night, wake up 3/4 times a night etc. I have a bp monitor and have checked that and its been fine. If it happens again I am off to the gp! I have been working really hard in the garden, stripped shrubs out, cleared all climbers off of the trellis and scrubbed and painted 15 trellis panels, probably been doing too much.............I aint no spring chicken :o Dk is a worry, everything much the same, but he at last has made an apt with the gp, two reasons.........first he has a bunion that really needs doing, and secondly the tremor he developed in his left hand is def worse and when he sits down his right leg does it also. Of course we are both worried its going to be Parkinsons, on top of the cancer that's all we need. I am not sure if there is specific testing for it? Just abit more to worry about!

Minisoksmakehardwork · 01/09/2014 09:22

Morning. Sleep! I need sleep. I had so little last night for the simple fact that I couldn't get to sleep. Everyone else was snoring their heads off and I was wide awake!!

Anyway. Good luck with the move mama. Hope you're in and settled soon.

I'm having a slight panic today. I've realised (too late) that tomorrow is the last day I will officially see my Homestart volunteer. I've been putting off gift shopping because I want something really special and now it's too late (groan). Have already ordered her a mug with her favourite animal on. Has the plus side of the girl character (to me) looks just like her :). Planning on some coffee and bits to go with it. But she's been with us just over 2 years. Any ideas?

triplets · 01/09/2014 14:15

Bake her a cake with the kids, take pics of them doing it and stick it in a frame with a scribble or two from them? How much did you want to spend? Book a voucher for tea for two somewhere, that's such a treat, or is she a book fiend like me, a token, I love book tokens................or theatre token, buy all in supermarkets or WHSmith.

MultipleMama · 01/09/2014 16:28

A cake is a good idea, and the pictures too, maybe even make a card and have the kids write/draw in it.

Still not finished moving, I think we'll be completely moved Wednesday. DH has been amazing has cooked tea, walked the dog and has assembled the twins' crib that I forgot to do earlier. Kids are little confused as to the new house but K is in love with his new space bedroom, and his own bathroom. Tonight we're going to test Artie & A in the same bedroom to see what happens.

Also, my amazing husband just surprised me with tickets to see Lion King in October at the theatre!!!!

Hope everyone had a good day.

Mama- glad the move went ok
trips- please take it easy, and try not to worry about everyone else so much and look after yourself- whatever happens, you cannot change things and you need to be well to cope with whatever life throws at you.
Sitting here at 2am with tv on as I can't sleep after a hell of a night shift last night and only a couple of hours kip today, also, tbh, I'm too annoyed with dk go sleep next to him tonight as he lost his temper with the boys earlier and then took it out on me to me. They deserved it as J was being ultra annoying to M this evening, and M had a major violently angry strop, trying his best to physically injure his brother, dh waded in and was acting almost as bad as M. I was trying to get them to stop fighting and inject a little calm into this madness, and he spoke in such a nasty way that he really upset me. He also trod on Ms glasses and broke them, 2 days before the start of schoolAngry

triplets · 02/09/2014 07:15

Morning girls, thanks Bubbs, you were awake late! Well things are never straight forward it seems. Spent an hour at school with the head of 6th. Got James and Rebecca sorted they both go back with their new chosen options. Thomas.......because he would be leaving in March to go to Harrogate the head says he doesnt think its worth him starting 6th form, and hes only got 1gcse! So he has suggested a meeting with their careers adviser and Mr Cousin who is on the pastoral team but is ex Army and a former teacher at Harrogate! He suggests Thomas doing some work experience until March. He then asked for written confirmation from the Army that Thomas would be leaving school to take his place at Harrogate, we dont have it, it was all done by phone. So got home and I phoned them up, only now to be told that they wont confirm his place until his medical assessment report is back, they said it notoriously always seems to take a long time but its out of their hands. I said is it likely to be ok`d in the next few weeks and she said it could well be around Dec/Jan!! I am just praying that they are not going to say that because he is under a cardiologist (Matthew) he is a risk. So now I feel Thomas should be accepted back to school, if, if it all goes pear shape with the Army he wont have lost 6 months further education! More to dwell on !! James started a paper round this morning too, so two workers in the family, apparently the shop still needs more kids ..........no chance their sister will be joining them!

triplets · 02/09/2014 07:17

Mn was down last night for ages, wonder why?

MultipleMama · 02/09/2014 11:32

I hope it's good news for Thomas!

Hope everyone is doing okay and taking care of themselves such a hypocrite Grin. Any plans for the week ladies?

Finishing the boys and the girls room today. Just needs the finishing touches in the bathrooms. And we'll be doing Apollo's room tomorrow well setting it up but he'll stay with us until we feel comfortable enough to move him.

K is 6yo tomorrow! Shock! So I ordered him the Kindle Fire because he reads upto 3 books interchangably and will make car journeys and trips so much easier.

K threw a massive tantrum tonight because he has to go to school for his birthday tomorrow. He was not impressed; the tears came, the screaming happened and proceeded to tell me he'll go live his Grandpa and his new nephew Grin. He finally cried himself to sleep, bless him. K rarely tantrums but when he does it's hilarious to watch DH being firm with him Grin.

I bought him a Kindle Fire and a professional sketching kit. Also plan on making him a triple chocolate smash cake!

Mama, behave yourself - you are pg!

Mine quite like going to school on their birthdays, hopefulyl he will get over it!

Fingers crossed for Thomas, it all sounds very frustrating, hope it gets sorted soon.

dd did her first paperound yesterday! Wasn't too impressed and needed a break half way through to refuel but hopefully she will stick at it. I used to do mornings and evenings as a kid...

MultipleMama · 03/09/2014 12:47

Happy 6th birthday to my beautiful first born son who has dealt with so many changes and yet continues to be carefree. Love you to pluto and back Cake.

Well, K enjoyed his surprise breakfast and a house full of balloons. He went to school but threw a massive tantrum in the car waking Apollo and Artie. Told his hometeacher so she's aware of his mood Grin.

Congrats to dd on her paper round! Maybe she'll enjoy earning her own money :)

Having a quick nap with my sleeping twins before doing the school run x

shabbs · 03/09/2014 21:05

It's back Grin

MultipleMama · 03/09/2014 21:58

To be honest, it was only last week I remembered! Blush

His mood improved due to his class singing him happy birthday and letting him choose a book in storytime. Then when he opened his Kindle and enjoyed his little tea party, he was even happier. Pleased that today went well :)

I swear I did not break facebook... i swear! Grin

A & Artie seem to sleeping together very well. A sleeps deeply so isn't woken by Artie and Artie slept through A's night terror so I think it'll work out good :)
