Gone this time......zzz..........zzzzzz........zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Chopstheduck · 12/07/2014 08:16

mama, although the 'flying fuck' comment must have hurt and will seem unfair since you are doing this for your dad, I can see why he is worried. You are exhausted as it is, blueA is poorly and I think you may be trying to take on a little too much. I do think you need to think of your health and that of your babies, both BlueA and the little one on the way. Your DH is probably panicking and not expressing himself very well. I hope you got some rest last night and feel a little better this morning xxx

Forcast here is improving, hope it is for you too, trips!

Chopstheduck · 12/07/2014 08:17

And mama, even running like a cow is better than not running at all! WinkGrin

MultipleMama · 12/07/2014 09:33

Thanks ladies, it just got my hackles up yesterday. What he said did make sense and he does have a point, what hurt wasn't what he said about me inparticular but how he described his own son as a "sick kid". We discussed me and 2 of the DC going and I asked if it was okay or should I wait and he said "you might aswell go now because next month would be too much" and that out of full phone call came and he was so viscious with his words. He had plenty of oppertunity to tell me, calmly.

DH came home this morning and we talked, well I snapped and he snapped back and then reached a middle ground. Luckily, I hadn't told K we were going so that's one less upset person in the house. I'm not going, either because I understand his concerns and I can't bregrudge him that...

I'll stick to my bike and my skates! Well just my bike for the next 9 months :) I wish could run and enjoy it but I barely tolerate it Grin

She is very wise, isn't she? :) xx

Hope you managed to sleep, Trips! And good luck with the in laws Grin.

Today, I plan to do nothing but crafts with the kids and fill up the swimming pool with plastic balls Grin!

What a scortcher this weather is! Bloody lovely, tempted to don on the bikini and join the kids in the swimming pool. Even BlueA is getting in on the action is little action trunks and in his own shell/sand pool :)

Oh mama!

Well it was a full moon yesterday so I'll blame that for our menfolks grumps.

Dh and I ended up with a shouting row Friday night. Think it's the first one we've ever had and I told dh to go!!

Spent a lot of time Friday night crying. Dh stupidly decided to say he was taking the children (in an Audi TT). He's an idiot and was carrying on rowing with me by text after he left. Ended up getting my mum and sister over as I was in bits. Dh wasn't impressed but it did give us the chance to get out and air a few truths. He's had so much bottled up for so, so long - far too long. I know he has but the fool refuses to talk when things are bugging him and bottles then up.

Up until Saturday morning I didn't actually know if we were all going on holiday or not but I can say now we arrived very later but safely last night.

4 very excited children went to bed very late. And despite dh's best hopes of at least a half hour lie in, have mostly been up since just before 6. Have stuck tv on, given them drinks, paper and crayons and hoping for the best.

MultipleMama · 13/07/2014 11:18

I'm glad you arrived safely! Hope you enjoy yourselves. You deserve this break.

Things were tense again, today and the kids are picking up on it, BlueA is acting up so I've handed him to DH to deal with while I walk in front with the dog, K & the boys.

Experienced my first sign of pregnancy today: nausea. So, I've dusted of my seasick bands and popped them on.

We won!! Football The whole family is still hyped up and dancing in the garden. I'm watching from the kitchen window with a bemused smile. The kids are sleeping here tonight as it's too late and they're passed out upstairs but sooner or later DH & I are gunna have to head home with the A-team as he has work in morning. Nothing like walking through the woods in the dark to give you nightmares and make you paranoid!!

Very proud of this town and proud of both my boys taking part in todays concert. Lots to catch up on tomorrow now, then off to Gatwick at 3am on Tues...........why am I not excited but feel I could almost back out?Strange.

triplets · 13/07/2014 23:49

Soks try to enjoy yourself, where abouts are you?

Chopstheduck · 14/07/2014 06:45

Oh Soks, I do hope you have a more relaxing break. xx

Well done to your boys, Trips!

I had an amazing time yesterday! Got a time of 45:01 on the bike, which I'm really happy with (68th/433). It was neck and neck with Team Victoria nearly all the way but they jsut pipped us at the post.

Thats brilliant Chops well done you should be very proud of yourself! Going to get everyone up early today so hopefully they will get to bed for a few hours tonight before our 3am start! Chops is it ok to take biscuits in your hand luggage, they are going to be starving whilst we are waiting at the airport, no idea how long check in/security takes these days.

Chopstheduck · 14/07/2014 07:29

Yes, any solid food is fine :) We've packed sarnies before now.

triplets · 14/07/2014 07:53

Thanks Chops, I have got loads of picnic food left over from y/day so that's good, you know what kids are like always starving!

triplets · 14/07/2014 22:09

Feeling strangely weird, no feeling of excitement..........off to Majorca at 8am...........got to try to sleep as have to be up at 2am..........aghhhh!
All keep well and out of mischief, back on the 25th!
Love,
Trips xx

MultipleMama · 14/07/2014 23:46

Have fun, Trips! :)

Saw MW #3 she was lovely and ticked most of the boxes just like MW #1 so DH are gunna sit down after work tomorrow and discuss them and then make a final decision after the scan. However, both the midwifes are keen on being active and hands-on in the birth which we don't want so we need to discuss it further.

Things are starting to feel a little real now Confused.

Spoke my dad and my little bro, today. I really, really wish I could see them in person. How can I get to know my brother and see if he likes me if I can't meet him face to face before he's placed with my dad. I don't want to be another stranger he sees know and then... :(

Morning! Trips, have a lovely holiday.

We are holidaying in newquay chops. We love Cornwall and always end up back here as it's the area we know best.

Dh and I have had a couple more bumps. Entirely my fault and finance related. But we are still on holiday and making the best of what we've got (still talking to each other too). Kids are loving it. Hopefully going to make it to the beach today and maybe a steam train ride later in the week for James. He is really suffering this holiday Hmm. Poor boy just doesn't know where to put himself. I thought it might be down to the tension between dh and I but I really don't think it is now as we did have a lovely evening yesterday in the clubhouse and James still struggled with everything.

Paranoia big time has also kicked in as I've had a few answer phone messages yesterday from a dr. But obv they can't say what they're calling about on an answer phone and I'm in a poor signal area. We're waiting on James' blood results and this gp I've never head of is ringing. Am hoping it might be a wrong number as I've had to google him and I'm still no clearer.

Chopstheduck · 15/07/2014 07:29

Morning girls xx

Hope you have a fab time, trips. I think low expectations are good, then hopefully you will have a fantastic time when you get out there.

Poor James, hope he settles down soon and you hear from the dr, soks.

Mama, if they are both wanting more hands on, are you sure either are really right?

MultipleMama · 15/07/2014 08:22

Here you have to pay extra for the MW to be present at the birth and additional costs for call-out (as they are not allowed drink, go far during the last 4 weeks of the PG) so we're not overly worried as DH and I are only wanting prenatal and postnatal care but we need to have the birth care as a back-up choice. There are only 5 MW in my area who are willing to do homebirths, the other 2 wouldn't as I'm classed as "higher risk".

OP posts:
Chopstheduck · 15/07/2014 09:56

Have you considered your brother doing it? Or would that be too weird?

MultipleMama · 15/07/2014 10:48

You know what, we actually considered it and I would love for him to be my birth MW but I don't know if he's allowed to. I know that you can be presecuted here if they find out you are giving birth without an insured MW present whether at home or hospital.

No idea who to ask either because they might intervene (I originally wanted a freebirth but here you gotta to it in secret and decieve the hospital/MW which is more risky than the birth - it's very frowned upon.).

OP posts:
MultipleMama · 15/07/2014 21:45

Got a letter through from the hospital regarding the blood test I had done at the doctors; I need to go and have some more blood tests done because my B12 levels are low. So I'm booked in for the 29th.

Soks- I hope James settles, going to an unfamiliar environment really throws dh, as he has any autistic disorder, andbi knowvthey considered it with your little J, just as they are considering it with my J now. enjoy your break as much as you can
Trips- I hope your flight went well and you are now settling down to enjoy your holiday.
Chops- I saw your pics on FB, you are looking awesome!
Ruby- hi there, hope things are going well in your life
Mama - if the scan shows its (whispers) twins againShock, will this change your mind over a home birth, or change the mind of either midwife?
Shabbs- is there any more news on your mum moving?? has your db said anything more?

Finally we have some good news here - the headmistress has authorised the boys absence for our holiday, yipee! The passports have already arrived, (i know we are not going till October, but its nice to have them in my hand) and my boss has put me on regular shifts!
Also, our nasty neighbours had put in yet another complaint about our dogs, and the council bloke who came to investigate told them that not only did they have no case, but has served them with a "cease and desist" order to stop them wasting council timeGrin Finally things are going our way

Chopstheduck · 17/07/2014 06:56

wow, that is all brilliant bubby! It's about time things were on the up for you, I'm really happy for you! Grin
