Wonderful news Mama!!

Good news on the police front- the boys involved have admitted all guilt, and we have a "community resolution order" which basically means we will get a written letter of apology from the boys involved, and they have been warned that they should be polite and behave like "normal decent polite human beings" towards the boys, both at school, on the bus and at all other times. I am happy with this, i didn't want them to have a criminal record, I just wanted my sons left alone. The policeman said one thing stood out to him when he took statements, and that was when M said "I saw the boys behind him, and thought "Oh no, we're in big do do "(sic) and he ran to hide!" The PC said this one sentance summed up their whole view of these older boys, and they shouldnt have to have that sort of reaction.Angry

Estar I can't believe a year has passed already. We wore yellow, played a board game and ate chinese (well I did, dcs aren't keen so I ate enough for all of us). Sending love to you from all in the piximon family.

All is well here. Dts growing fast. Ds3 even quicker. I have finally got fed up with MN not allowing me access through my phone. Created a new account and like magic it works. Hmm I now have no excuse not to pop in more often. Shabs I need a round up.

Morning girls

that;s great, bubby!

PIXI!!! Lovely to see you back Grin

I have to cook for 10 ppl on sunday, evening meal. Only thing is - no spices, nothing 'forrin and something that isn't going to take hours in the kitchen. WTF am I going to do? A selection of curries, rice and roti would have been so easy!

shabbatheGreek · 22/05/2013 08:54

Pixi - good to see you my owd mucker

Toms concerts went well. BUT he is beyond tired today. Monday and Tuesday he was in school from 8.30 to 3.30 and then straight into rehearsals for the performances. Didnt get home till 9pm both nights. His music teacher told me they have all passed their Btec so he is delighted. He was also struggling with English Hmm has never, ever struggled in that subject. I met up with his teacher and realised why!!! I would never rubbish her to him but she is very odd, shouty and sarcastic. She said he would not get a C in her subject because he daydreamed. Monday she made him re-sit his Mock exam????? She was annoyed to tell him he had got a B in it and was just a few marks off an A. He was bordering on gloating when she told him LOL. He is now determined to get the A when they do the GCSE.

Got to get him shoes, shirt and tie today to go with his suit.

Thanks everyone.

I know trips - already started my baby journal with bump and scan photos, I'll be scanned every 2 weeks until 20w and be monitored.

Shabs you must be so proud!

Bubby glad the police have actually done something. If its one thing I can't stand it's bullying.

Rather you than me chops! I could just eat a vegetable curry

Hi pixi nice to meet talk to you, glad your dc are well Smile

Dts1 is a lot better today no thanks to his poor gums!

Surprised DF yesterday with "twins" news. Went brilliantly, he was gobsmacked but happy however dd has picked up the phrase "oh fuck" again. Thanks, dad!

Oh and the cake was lovely :)

Morning. Back properly later. Just taking a break from packing Emily up for her week away with nanny, grandad and eldest 2 cousins. Is it a bit PA to send her with vosene shampoo etc since my sister hasn't been able to keep on top of nits and Emily has been lucky so far?

MultipleMama · 22/05/2013 16:04

I used to love Vosene. The smell always reminds me of my Grandma, she used to was my hair with it when I was little.

Sokmonsta · 22/05/2013 16:30

Normly I use a tea tree oil and faff with hairspray and stuff. But is a lot to ask my parents to do on holiday just to placate me ;)

Anyway, one successful shopping trip. New clothes and a pair of trainers for Emily. But cross about the trainers as I only wanted plimsoll/doodles type things. Clarks didn't have any I liked in her size - only one pair suitable but were black with neon patterns on them Confusedand I don't have time to get to our usual outlet store. Thought I'd try the supermarkets instead. Bloody places! All the shoes in Emily's size for girls (bearing in mind she is only very nearly 5) are either those silly thin sandle strap things, no substance to them at all. Or slip on plimsolls. They go from a size 10 with strap (perfect style) to a size 11 slip on! I've ended up coming away with plain blue boys lace ups. And even then not really the ones I would have chosen but they will be ideal. I honestly didn't think it would be so hard to get girls size 11's with either a strap or laces. But it seems she has big feet for her young age as older girls "don't run and play about like the younger ones do" to his credit the guy in Sainsbury's agreed that it was silly to suddenly imply if you are a shoe size 11+ girl you shouldn't be running and playing about.

But she has some lovely new outfits. Which means I can cull her very limited, mismatched wardrobe of getting too small clothes into lovely new summer wear. All thanks to m&s vouchers :)

Twins are grouchy today. And the bugs are winding them up even more by hurtling up and down the hall. Cannot wait until bedtime.

MultipleMama · 22/05/2013 19:29

I have this nit business to come. I shudder at the thought. DD has beautiful curls and the thought of having bugs in her hair make me sad. Urgh, I can remember having that stuff that stunk for days on my head in school Sad

I so want to go shopping and spoil the kids... I may go drive up on Friday when DF has them.

bubby64 · 22/05/2013 19:40

Hi Soks- I used to get the teatree and mint shampoo and conditioner from Boots for my two to stop the dreaded bugs getting hold. How stupid about the shoes, but its nice you have got some nice outfits. That is the one big thing I missed out on with boys, buying lovely girlie clothes.

Boys have got new glasses today and they look good, again, I paid the extra £10 each to get 'designer' frames, to ensure they wear themWink, Dentist was this evening, as suspected, they haven't been cleaning their teeth well enough, and have to go back in just 3 monthsSad , I had a quiet word with the dentist, and asked him to really have a go at them, as they dont listen to DH and me. He really laid it on thick about how poor their oral hygiene has become, and how they are at high risk of cavities and their teeth falling out due to gum disease, I hope he has scared them into cleaning their teeth properly. Blush

Sokmonsta · 22/05/2013 21:41

Mm - my Jennifer has gorgeous curls too. Nitty gritty comb will be your friend.

MultipleMama · 22/05/2013 21:53

Sok - I'll have to invest in one of those soon! I hope she doesn't loose her curls as she gets older like I did.

Sokmonsta · 22/05/2013 22:43

I had the same curls when I was a tot. Until my mum grew my hair out ready for school. Now straighteners are my weapon against the frizzies. Need to see if I can get Jen trimmed again soon.

Both babies went down a treat tonight. Barely a peep out of them, and nothing which needed attending too.

Good afternoon ladies, just off to the hospital again...........really praying they are going to offer to do something, 4 weeks with a drain in your stomach! I had a long talk with the Mac nurse this morning, told her this is getting us both down. She was going to see if they could get a scan done today as we are there rather than go back again on Monday. Fingers xd. Had to top watching the news about the Woolwich murder, makes you feel sick inside doesnt it? Poor poor man.

bubby64 · 23/05/2013 15:27

Chucking it down here, and sooooooo coldSad
Trips - hope they can sort it out and let you get off on your break.
And yes, I agree about the Woolwich horror, I still have my doubts as to whether they should have let those pictures and film of them ranting be shown, they got all the publicity they desired.Angry Sad

I saw my works Occupational Health Physician today, I start back at work next week on 1/2 days, I can do the offices and surgery, but I will not be allowed on the factory floor as yet as still on crutches.

MultipleMama · 23/05/2013 20:06

They should never have shown those pictures and video. They gave them exactly what they wanted. Can you imagine his parents seeing that video, then getting the call that it's their child?! Some things shouldn't be shown. To allow it is disgusting.

Trips - hope they sort it out!

Tired has hell today, kids have been hyper today. DTS1 is back to his normal self and his constantly attached to the breast. I think he's making up for lost feeds.

Busy day tomorrow for dc so glad today wore them out! :)

triplets · 23/05/2013 23:22

Hi...........spent 4 hours at the hosp today, after m ranting to the Mac nurse they really pulled out all the stops. We spent an hour with the consultant and learnt a lot more. They have put dk under the care now of an out of hospital care team instead of the district nurse who really has not been able to give him the care he needs. As it stands we do have to go back on Mon for a ct scan, they will then review he blood loss, if it has slowed down they have suggested taking out the drain and using a stoma bag instead. They seem certain I will do the same thing but make life easier and would enable us to go away, just losing one day. I am 50/50 if we should get our hopes up, the last thing he wants is a problem whilst away. My head is going round and round, but all this seems so minor in comparison to that lovely young man who lost his life yesterday. When I see his picture today I cried, my James wants to be a drummer in the forces, it is all too awful for words. :(

shabbatheGreek · 23/05/2013 23:55

Hope you manage to get away Trips.

My head is spinning along with yours love!! Tom leaves school tomorrow then back after half term to do his GCSE's - think his last day of exams is June 17th.

Terrible events yesterday - so scary - thinking about the family of the soldier who was killed.....no death so sad as that of a child - no matter how old that child is. No parent should ever have to bury their child xxx
