Shabs............are you feeling abit panicky...........I feel I could easily have a panic attack if Im not careful............feel weird......that's why Im on here to try and take my mind off of it. Hope you are ok?? xx

shabbatheGreek · 20/06/2013 00:01

Yes I think so Trips. I keep telling myself I take two tablets every day - one is a beta blocker and one makes me wee which helps with blood pressure!!! A dieuritic, deuritic, dieur....oh a bloody water tablet. The beta blockers especially, according to my GP, should help to elimate panic attacks.

Keep finding myself with my shoulders around my ears and breathing really weird - kind of panting!!!

Think I need to get a new straight jacket to be honest. I am officially getting on my own nerves!!

triplets · 20/06/2013 00:10

Chopstheduck · 20/06/2013 10:05

hope you are feelign better today shabs x

lol @ trips! I'm guessing he slept through all this?

I'm jsut back from a 4 mile run, it is soo hot and muggy out. It was forecast for rain, and not a drop. I look like a sweaty beetroot - kinda like this Angry but damper! Grin

Had to get out early too before all the drunken louts gridlock the roads. I hate Royal Ascot - I swear they must have pimms on their cornflakes before even arriving. I went out Tues at nearly 10pm they were still racing their ferraris and r8s on the roads. GO HOME!!

MultipleMama · 20/06/2013 11:07

Haha, I'm down sarf but I grew in d'North (barnsley) if tha knows wha am tranna say. My accent is still very thick ;)

I'm doing good, feeling better. I have proper food and my little room is decorated with finger paintings, love notes (some for adult eyes only) and scan photos haha.

Hope you two feel better!!

Chops - Wish I could start running again! Damn boy racers , even if some are grown men!

shabbatheGreek · 20/06/2013 11:34

LOL its weird but I never, ever imagined you being from up t'Norff Mama....no idea why! Now Trips could never be from up t'Norff - she even swears in a lovely posh accent Grin BUT her DH has relatives in the Norff - not far from us, so I reckon he is letting the side down Grin

OP posts:
MultipleMama · 20/06/2013 12:06

Aye, only moved when I was 16. Everyone says I'm hard to understand some times because I talk too fast and miss out words which DH calls lazy talk haha.

Haha, now I want to hear her swear! LOL. Totally letting the side down Wink

Sokmonsta · 20/06/2013 20:40

Evening lovely ladies.

My two smallest mischief makers have been keeping me busy. They bigger two have kept me even busier!

Went to my mum's for lunch. Jennifer crawled behind her chair (where the cats used to escape to for p&q) and got stuck! It was funny but i did feel obliged to rescue her instead if getting the camera. No other grandchild has ever done that. Although I guess it could be because the twins will be the only ones to not really know cats at Nanny's house.

Jennifer then found the playground which is Dad's desk. And the screwdriver, tin of rattley things and paperwork made great toys. Well if he insists on just dumping stuff there...

Joshua keeps trying to take those first wobbly steps. But every time we think he's going to actually do it he grins, drops to his knees and scrambles across instead.

Emily went on a narrow boat ride with rainbows today, thoroughly enjoyed herself despite some fears about falling in/boat sinking/not liking it.

James. Well. He's been a little shit. I hate saying that, and I've been trying so hard today to give him some attention as I know that's what he wants. But he has repaid that by pushing the twins over, lying on top of them and stopping them from moving, making them both squeal like stuck pigs, smacking them. Hitting them over the head with a toy and snatching toys off them. All at the same and separate times. Then I got a text saying the children's centre woman wants to go and see him in his preschool environment and the nursery nurse who works with our hv team wants to do a follow up.

bubby64 · 20/06/2013 21:47

Hi All. Soks- that's it, I am convinced it the name Wink I was told when I was picking names by an ex health visitor friend that almost every "James" she knew was a handful, and not to pick that name, well, i obviously ignored her and now, well I am paying the penalty, and so are youGrin Grin Grin. Mama- take noteWink

Trips/Shabs- it must be something in the air, I feel stressed up to my eyebrows and can't sleep either, also having difficulty in eating (unless its chocolate!), haven't finished a proper meal in daysBlush

Chops- You are foing ever so well with the gitness campaign.Smile

My James can go to camp if he and Mike change the dressings between them, teachers want nothing to do with it as he has to take his pants down (child protection issues Angry) His wound is finally healing, he has been put on a further 5 days of ABs just to be on the safe side. The surgery have provided us with waterproof dressings for both wounds as they eill be doing watersports in the sea. I was talking to the OH Dr at work, as he lives near where the camp is, and he has said if the the boys have any problems with the dressings, to give him a call, and he will ask his wife, an ex practice nurse, to pop over and help them, what a diamond she is Grin Grin .
For the camps insurance purposes, i had to get a letter from the GP to say what he can and can't do, its mostly things using a safety harness he can't take part in. The gp secretary said if she typed the letter it would cost us £21Shock The doctor said "that's ridiculous" and wrote it by hand herself, bless herSmile

triplets · 20/06/2013 22:10

Mama which part of the sarf?? See I am sarf near the sea...........I can see FRANCE on a clear day, lovely castle down the road where the Q Mother used to stay............dead posh innit:o Like Shabs I cant imagine you with a northern accent..............why did I think you were Russian? Glad James can go to camp, would be such a shame for him to miss out. As for the name I must say my James is really such a kind sweet boy............no trouble out of the three..............whereas every Thomas I know.......and also every Rebecca............. Felt really rough again tonight, sore throat, two weeks now Ive had this thing........
Never seen a 3d scan hope you will share it with us Mama, very exciting.........do you want to know the sex? I never did with my trio, but I got what I wished, a girl and two boys :)
Hope the bloody foxes stay home tonight!

MultipleMama · 20/06/2013 23:36

I live in Greater London so not proper sarf. So posh, Trips but I bet the view is lovely! My father is Russian but I was born in England, so no awesome accent! What is weird is how K (ds1) seems to be picking up DH's German accent.

I'll think about the scan photo. I'm private when it comes to my kids and DH is scarily protective about what we put on internet about them. But I'm sure a quick view won't hurt ;)

I'm too impatient to wait for both to find out sex and DH likes to organise so he wants to know too.

Glad J gets to go camping! You both deserve a break and what a lovely thing for the nurse to offer!

Glad Emily enjoyed herself and the twins seemed to have fun too! Sorry to hear about James' behaviour must be hard to watch and not knowing why he's doing it xx

Thanks for the name warning haha! We have names picked out!

Morning ladies.

MultipleMama · 21/06/2013 19:33

Evening ladies.

T1 is improving each day and I have a sneaky feeling it's a girl but DH think's it's a boy, but we both think T2 is a boy. We've even placed a bet; he wins I buy him rainbow drops, if I win he buys me peanut brittle!

Sokmonsta · 22/06/2013 05:01

That is good news, must be such a relief for you mama. Hope you're not going too potty in the hospital.

Yawn indeedy ruby. Don't think it'd take you lovely lot long to work out who was responsible for me being awake at that ungodly hour.

Y'know I always used to be good at early mornings. It was our agreement that dh would do the night shift and I'd get up in the morning as he's a night owl and I am so very definitely not. But lately we're both suffering an immense lack of sleep. Worse than when any of the dc were babies!
