Good Morning.

Trips- Good news about your DB, sorry things not going so well eith your DH. Good luck vibes also going out to your boys for their exams.
Soks- Glad Jen is now ok, and that Josh's ear will sorted in such a good way. I'm sure Emily will be fine, it has been a very stressful, busy time for you, and though she has lots of attention from her GPs, its not the same as 'mum time' in her eyes. I'm sure she will settle again soon.
Chops- sounds like you had a nice day in Winsor, hope everything ok with your lot.
Shabs- how is Tom coping, and how are your dad and mum?
Ruby - having a viewing suddenly makes moving 'real', doesn't it? Also good exam luck wishes winging its way to your household.
James's op went well, it was a bit more complicated than they 1st thought, so it took longer to do, and he was last on the list, he didn't go down until 3.30, and got back at 6, so we didn't leave for home until 8pm.
Very annoyed with DH, as I had asked him twice to get new bottles of ibuprofen and paracetamol in ready for discharge, as he was in town, I even texted him to remind him, and he forgot! I had to rush out again as soon as I got J home to the nearest 24hr supermarket, which is 7 miles away to get someAngry Angry . He had slso forgotten to get the blow up mattress ready (J has a high sleeper).I should have done it myself, but he had asked how he could help!

bubby64 · 05/06/2013 09:32

Mama- I just read back my post, and realised I hadnt put in my hood wishes for you! I am sending out keep on going vibes to your little fighter, if hes anything like his mum, he will be fine!
Glad you had a talk with the phone woman, but was a bit Shock that she was able to overhear that conversation, that info should have been confidential!

Sokmonsta · 05/06/2013 14:34

Afternoon ladies.

Dashes out to rescue Joshua from the top of the coffee table. Again!

shabbatheGreek · 05/06/2013 14:44

Been with my parents for 6 hours today - carers, nurses and the 'boss of funding' Mums mobile hairdresser turned up in the middle of the meeting and her 'meals on wheels' as well. Dad doesn't have to pay for his care but Mum may have to Angry

As I got onto the bus near my house, something snapped in my calf. Felt like an elastic band being 'pinged' I am in piggin' agony. My Mum thought it was hysterical that I struggled getting up the steps at the front of their house. Hmm

........and where was Dave Boy Wonder?? (brother) well he had to stay in at his new house for a furniture delivery including a new bed for him and his verrrrrrrrrrrry young girlfriend

So glad to hear things are going well for everyone but sorry about your DH's Trips sending my best wishes!

How are you, Shabs?

Bubby - So great to hear his op went well. I have to remind DH a few times to do something relating to housework haha.

Thank you, trying to stay positive. Had another scan this morning and his fluid has gone up further. Enough so that they got a real good look at his system. As for the woman, I talked to my consultant and he was miffed and annoyed as he and a nurse were only outside my door. He also spoke to the head nurse for me about it.

DH brought dts in this morning in some shorts... only to realise they were 3-6mo trousers #facepalm Amazingly they fit them lovely around the waist. I'm dreading what he's dressed DD in haha.

I'm homesick and dc sick. I miss tucking my kids in and I'm annoyed as I missed dts2 standing on his own, DH recorded but it's not the same :( but so proud :D

MultipleMama · 05/06/2013 15:08

Shabs - sounds like you've strained your muscle or snapped your achilles tendon. I'd get it looked at if isn't better in a couple days.

Seems you've had a busy day! Glad your dad's care is free but same about your mum's.

Your brother is a plonker! He should be with you xx

MultipleMama · 05/06/2013 16:59

Sok - Send them to my DH, I swear he's a child whisperer. DH only has to give DS a look and he behaves, and for some reason every child he holds falls asleep! However our dts seem immune to his charm :-D

shabbatheGreek · 05/06/2013 22:25

Trips - think we are going to have to dust our holiday nipple tassles off Grin - for our new ladies on this thread me and Trips had an amazing virtual holiday on the island of Rhodes a few years ago Grin

From nowhere, today, my Mum said 'Oh if we get some money or win the lottery tonight Harry we are going to Crackyfacky (Faliraki) with our Shabbs!!' The thought of me trawling round Crackyfacky (she really thought thats what it was called) with my parents drove me back into the padded cell. She said 'I would love to meet all your friends but I would end up crying because they are so kind to you.'

Life is such a crock isin't it? Wish we had taken them many years ago when we first started going. They would love the hot sunshine and the friendly Greek people. xxx

Trips, Shabs - Sounds crazy but lovely! What I wouldn't do for a holiday right now. Sun, sea and you know the other ;)

Another day stuck in this room. However I got to see dts2 stand on his own and T1 & 2 are in good health:)

Think I may have to revert to using their initials soon all this dts and T1 business is starting to confuse me haha.

bubby64 · 06/06/2013 23:40

Evening All
Shabs- please have your leg looked at, if you have snapped the tendon, the quicker the repair, the shorter and better the recovery.
Doesn't seem fair about uour mum, nbut we are in the same position, db has wifked out that if her care is maintained at the current rate, dhe will be broke by September, so much for the so called "savings allowance" of £14,000 that they say you can keep and care still provided fof free, its a a joke!
Trips- Love the thought of your virtual holiday.Grin
Soks- breath deep and seek refuge in the loowhenever you need to darling, its vey hard wit 4 little ones.
Mama, glad things are going well with the pregnancy and with your other LOs, fingers crossed you will be home again soon.

Annoyed with DH this afternoon. I went to work today and he was looking after James, who is so bruised and swollen down below he is walking around reminding me of the song "John Wayne is big leggy" and supposed to be on regular overlapping pain relief of paracetamol and ibuprofen so he can keep mobile. R proudly told me he had only given the poor 10mls calpol all day, as he was " a tough 12yr old, who didn't need more!" I promptly dosed him up properly and felt like kickin dh hard in the meat and 2 veg, then denying him oain relief !!Angry Angry

bubby64 · 06/06/2013 23:41

excuse miss spellings, on ipod with tiny keypad!!

shabbatheGreek · 07/06/2013 00:44

Thanks Bubby. My Mam gave me some of her Ibropfroen (that is certainly not how you spell it) gel and I have covered my calf with it. The pain relief is amazing.

I am afraid that any health problems I have are caused by the fact that I am very, very overweight. Was going to put a sad emoticon but then thought better of it....you know what? I have buried 2 of my 4 precious sons.....my hubby is, for the moment, on DLA following an horrendous accident at work AND we are totally skint. We save all year for our holidays in Greece. I need to kick myself up the bum to be honest.

Morning ladies.

I'll reply when I'm more awake right now I'm barely typing this. The sound of bloody birds woke me!

Sokmonsta · 07/06/2013 08:12

Morning ladies.

Bubs, your poor James :(
Shabs, you are allowed to have a Hmm. Just because you've been through so much doesn't mean you have to suck up the smaller stuff. I'm loving the idea of a virtual holiday right now. Virtually anywhere Wink

Mama - birdsong is lovely, but not when you want to sleep! Hope you have a restful day and the twinlets continue to do well. Remind me how old your big twins are?

Chops, trips. Hello

I emerged from the toilet eventually!

In laws are taking Emily and James for the night tonight as its dh's weekend on. I'm still in two minds whether to let them go as they have both been so horrible, it will be a treat for them (they get thoroughly spoilt). But am trying to see it as a break we all need, knowing I will just spend the weekend shouting at them despite best intentions. Then it will be a fresh start again on Sunday, where my parents have offered to entertain us for the day. Even mum was shocked at James' behaviour yesterday as he kicked her and bit me!

Oh poo - woke up with the alarm but went back to bloody sleep!!

Tom is up, dressed and out the door Grin

So he has managed to carry on his 'record' of never being late for school - right through from nursery to the end of High school.

Morning girls xx
