D'y ever wonder where the time goes....

...When juggling kids, family, home, school and work?
I know, I know, feeble effort, but I really don't know where my year has gone! Its towards the end of February now, past half term for most of us, and I don't even seem to have blinked!
We were celebrating DH's birthday today, and I'm sure he had his last one only a couple of months ago, or thats how it seems to me.
As for the years since my 2 were born, well, they seem to have gone in a blink of an eye.

Hi...............the sun is shining, awoke at 6am with bits of tooth in my mouth, loverly! I am praying their will be some hopeful news from Estar, cannot get them all out of my head. xx

Broke my tooth on Frid night Chops, its a crown, had it about 25 years, bought an emergency repair kit on Sat as its cutting my tongue. Brushed my teeth and it came straight off. Dentist not open on Sats so I am on the phone first thing this morning. Its the cost I am dreading!

Wedding plans are on track Trips!! Em is the 'Queen of Lists' Grin Wedding dress purchased, bridesmaid dresses done, Dans suit ordered etc etc. Dan, best man and Lew are all hiring their suits for the day. DK and Tom are having the same. As Lew said 'I've got same as me Daddy and its got 'tails' LOL. Registrar paid for (courtesy of my parents), reception venue booked, etc.

Best mans dad has a beautiful holiday flat in Angelsea and he is giving it to Dan, Em and Lew for the full week after the wedding - free of charge - as his present to them.

Sorted really - all on a budget of just less than £1,000.

Once, when I was a kid, one evening half hour before girls brigade, someone reminded us it was fancy dress.

My dad stuck me in a bin liner and cut out white circles of paper and stuck them on. I was a domino!! Grin

I just noticed how I put myself last again! Weird isin't it? Nobody has said 'what are you wearing' or shown any interest at all Sad Em did say, quite a while ago, 'Me, you and my Mum will have to go wedding clothes shopping together.' Errrr, no thanks my lovely 'almost' DIL. I have neither the money or the figure to come with you and your Mum....as lovely as her Mum is - she is tall and slim. Wish I was tall....well 5ft 3" would be rather lovely

size and colour.......errrrr Mobydick size and I fancy either purple or green...but Em hates the colour green - OMG this is too much like hard work....

Claire Sweeney (pretends to be an actress - used to be on Brookside) has a brilliant catalogue out. Me and the Lewmeister have been looking through it and there are some beautiful clothes on there. Dont worry it will be sorted...maybe on the morning of the wedding BUT it will be sorted!!

Well after dragging myself over to Dover in the pouring rain to the dentist, guess what? Half of Dover was shut, power cut....................including the dentists!! I banged on the door and the girls said it had gone off 5 mins prev and was unlikely to be back on today! Walked back towards the car park as dk was just walking towards me. I told him and what did he say?" I just put a quid in that ticket machine"!! Never mind poor me with a broken tooth and sore mouth!! They are going to ring me tomorrow to go back...........I was all geared up for it today:(
