...When juggling kids, family, home, school and work?
I know, I know, feeble effort, but I really don't know where my year has gone! Its towards the end of February now, past half term for most of us, and I don't even seem to have blinked!
We were celebrating DH's birthday today, and I'm sure he had his last one only a couple of months ago, or thats how it seems to me.
As for the years since my 2 were born, well, they seem to have gone in a blink of an eye.

Hi Ruby- not really treat ourselves as such, but it will pay outright for our holiday and for the 3 show weekends and we won't have to worry about scrimping and counting pennies whilst we are away, which will be a big relief.

Afternoon All. Sitting here at work, thinking of all the things that need doing at home, also knowing I am due to work this weekend as well as the last 2, and have just decided "Sod it", the housework can stay undone tomorrow, and I am going to relax on what will be my first day off since last Wednesday, and my last until next Wednesday!
Besides which, when I do tidy up, within an hour it looks like I haven't touched it, especially with 2 mini mercenaries running about with Nerf guns piling up chairs, turning over tables, moving washing horses and covering the resultant barracade with blanket and cushions in order to make various bases and safe havens. The dogs are cowering in their beds in the corner of the kitchen, the cats would rather go without food that risk getting blasted with a foam dart, and I am really starting to regret giving in and getting them the damm things for Easter!! I suppose for them, it is healthier than eating mounds of chocolate, but for my mental wellbeing, I'm still not sure. Thank God they are back to school on Monday.

triplets · 12/04/2012 23:23

Bubby...........you wait until they want bb guns, we have 4 abandoned nerf guns here. I foolishly agreed they could order bbs. They ordered two each, a pistol and a rifle. Both of Jamess came y/day, tantrums and tears from Thomas! One of Thomass arrived today. 3 workmen here from 8-7pm drilling and banging and those two dressed like assassins, shooting their sister who screamed like a banshee......"Mummmmmmmmmmmmm they keep shooting me! Bloody bbs all over the house...............please let them be a 5 min wonder!!
